Had a really good strong start and just ended up all over the place. I really enjoyed up until the last half of season 2. If they make season 3 and conclude everything I might like it more. Too many plot holes

Great story. Great acting. I couldn’t help myself but to beige listen through the whole two seasons. I hope there will be a season three.

.. see a lot of people upset about season 2 exclusive on Spotify (rightfully so) ..here to let you know you’re not missing anything..it’s so awful couldn’t even make it past episode 2. Not trolling was a huge fan of season 1 and had all of season 2 downloaded for a flight. My wife and I both looked at each other half way through episode one decided to trudge on and didn’t make it past episode 2. Not all things that are good and garner a fan base need to keep going. Know when to quit. What a letdown.

Updating my review to 1 star only because they let us listen to the first season but not the 2nd. I don’t have Spotify and don’t like we are being pressured to get it to listen to a show we found on here. Please fix this and I will fix my review. I really loved the show

Why do shows (podcast/audio and TV/visual) keep complicating things by trying to make you reach for them??? Did I find this Mother HACKER on Spotify?? No. Do I even use or have any intention/desire ‘to’ use Spotify? NO. Will I be going there to essentially chase this Mother hacking show which i started, had been enjoying and did so fully expecting to be able to continue listening from its original place of launch, Apple podcasts..??? NO WAY 👎 Please stop wasting the day 1’ers time that helped your creation take off. It’s happening everywhere, it’s not cool and it’s most DEF not acceptable.. 1 solid star for a solid story and 4 empty stars for being part of the problem and leaving once we became invested. BoooOOO.. 😒

i am new to podcasts but i listened to it while i was working and let me tell you i was in loveeee once it was over i opened my phone so fast i couldn’t believe it was over. even if you aren’t into podcasts you would love this !!!

I’m never sure how to rate these big budget shows. On the one hand, I’m eager for proper money to reach fiction podcasting, on the other hand I rarely feel like the bigger producers are committed to their audio projects. This one? You can almost hear the money rattling through the production like a slot machine paying out a jackpot. Thematically and actually. But, as is so often the case with bigger budget audio, the plot is so full of absurdities it overpowers any audience buy-in. And who knows if this show will ever release a S2. And static & interference & clipping & other grungy audio techniques are fabulous devices for covering up poor recording quality and different recording room tones that are so often the realities lower-budget shows have to sound design around. But somehow big budget shows can’t resist overusing them to the point of illegibility and ear pain. Most of the acting here is better than the material. Some of the sound design is really, really cool. The “setting” & framing of phone phishing is ... appropriate for audio! The plot? Oof.

Sometimes technical decisions can ruin a good piece of work. Such as the case of Motherhacker. Great storyline, good voices BUT I cannot begin to tell you how annoying and grating to the nerves all that static sound effect is. It’s just way too much on the ears and I was real close to tuning it out. Less is more and this podcast definitely needs less audio of static noise. Also where is the rest of the story? Episode 9 can’t be the last episode.

Great entertainment. I usually don’t like the real short episodes but this show makes it work wonderfully! I would love to see this storyline expanded and made into a visual format.

Great intro. This podcast reminds me of the old radio shows. The sounds, the footfalls and car door slams. I too, am hoping for the movie.

This was honestly amazing! Relatable on a human level from start to finish! I wish this was a television show or movie it was sooooo good!! Excited to see what is to come in the next season!! Great work!

Amidst all the seasons-long podcasts out there, it's good to have some that are a bit shorter. I really liked Motherhacker - it feels real and relatable because of the millions of spam calls and identity thefts we see in the world today, but it also has that clever dialogue and just-offbeat-enough characters that really capture us in fiction. The writing, acting, and Foley (sound effects) work are excellent. My only criticism is the pacing - it feels rushed, especially the final episode. But maybe that's just the longer podcasts influencing me.

I really loved it. It was one of the best podcast, the bad thing is that just have 1 season. :(

This may be one of the best written, edited and acted podcasts on the platform, but how DARE you only have one season? I watched this podcast days ago and can’t stop thinking about it. I honestly feel a little disrespected. For real though, it’s a great show. It’s great for new podcast listeners and veterans. Would definitely recommend… more than I already have.

There is soooo many things that I like about this Audio Drama! So natural. The transition effects are A-1! The background Fx’s, A-1!! Good job ladies!

Good show that’s pretty entertaining (even if the word hacking is used improperly constantly), but the static they use to transition between each and every single scene is incredibly annoying to the point where I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish the season.

Good, but each segment is too short. Sophomoric attempts to end each segment in such a way as to build anticipation for the next. That said, I would probably give it a 4 star, or maybe higher, if the episodes were at the twenty minute mark.

You can’t over analyze this story. It’s entertaining and easy to listen to - each episode is brief. I would recommend.

This was a well written, well acted story. I liked the short episodes; there were no unnecessary fillers to make the episodes longer. It has a good storyline with twists and a satisfying ending. Please produce more like it.

Just finished Episode 2 and was quite surprised where this was going. Very curious where Episode 3 will take me. So far, loving this!

The pilot episode has the phrase can you hear me now at least 25 times. Why? No it’s not the old Verizon commercial, but a hard to understand phone conversation that feels over played in its short time length. Story telling is hard on a podcast, but the phone conversations are just sounds and the phrase can you hear me now? I get the listener is supposed to have a panic feeling, but I’m just rather annoyed with the over dramatization of phone conversations that are hard to listen to.

Great story. Thought certain parts the second act got a little too cliche but overall loved the story and looking forward to the next season..... there is a next season right? 🤣

This was the first fictional podcast I’ve listened to and made it past the first episode. Short episodes were a great format and each episode (including the last one!) left me wanting more. Nice job and can’t wait for Season Two!!
