I love the podcast. I’m listening to it from the beginning and noticed in this episode titled Monster of Miramichi there is only half of the episode. The transcript shows the full episode and it says it’s 53 minutes long in the description but the episode is only 30 minutes long. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say. I can’t wait to catch up!

Brit is absolutely useless

All they do is talk about unsolved cases now. It used to be good when they copied other people's work and plagiarized in the early days, but I can't stand how 99% of their episodes now are unsolved cases. It's extremely frustrating to not have a solved case for the most part. Who wants to end on a empty, unfulfilled case every time?...freaks.

Listening to the show from the beginning and am on Katelin Akins now. I’ve heard all episodes from 2021. Till now and just wanted to start from the beginning. Waiting to hear “and I’m Brit!” lol. I got so used to hearing it that! Love the show and how you guys share these tragic stories.

It’s a good podcast but don’t call massage therapists masseuse

I am an avid fan of true crime podcasts and I’ve been listening to Crime Junkie religiously for a few years now. This is definitely one of the most ethical true crime shows. The scripted format is makes the cases easy to digest but Ashley + Britt are never boring or monotone. The app is also great as you can click on resources and see pics right there as you’re listening so you don’t have to open up a web browser at all! I can’t wait to enjoy this podcast for many years to come.

I was skeptical. The first time I heard one of their podcasts but once I started getting into it, I fell in love with it. It is one of my favorite podcast and I listen to it every night and day if you don’t think this is the best podcast ever, something wrong with you.😃😃😃😃

I’m 13 but this is honestly so interesting and fun to talk about with my mom whose a lawyer and the way it’s structured with Ashley telling a story then Brit asking question it really makes more personal and like your right there!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CRIME JUNKIE I listen to it all the time and it just helps with situational awareness, especially if you guys have a story about a unsuspected killer or crime committer. It really pits into perspective that (1 crime junkie rule**) You never really know ANYONE!!

Gave up on this podcast years ago, because the hosts repeatedly say things exposing their lack of knowledge and expertise in criminal justice (which is painfully obvious to anyone working on a national level in the justice arena). Throw in their limited awareness of geography, e. g., how to pronounce the name of one of the most well-known jurisdictions in CA (Marin County), & they’ve lost me again. (The descriptions of the Bay Area in the Kristen Modafferi episode are, quite frankly, awful; their inability to say Marin County correctly is just the tip of iceberg.)

This podcast is so amazing and I listen to it almost all day. It is sometimes scary to listen to at night LOL.

Update! There is no way they are doing their own research anymore! Ashley’s pronunciation of “Bay Area” and “Marin” in the Kristen Modaferri episode made my skin crawl! No way she watched the interviews she referenced if she says “Mare-In” instead of “Marin”. Also wft is “BAY…area”? So cringe. Getting pretty stale. I was a patron for 3+ years but decided to end my membership recently. The termination of the partnerships with Tiffany Reese and Kathryn Townsend without even an update for fans was strange, to say the least, especially since there was an announcement prior to this in which Ashley was literally crying about what a good boss she is and what an amazing workplace she created. Ashley’s recent comments about starting a church also felt icky and was probably the final straw for me in a series of bizarre comments and events.

Stop dissin on Brit. Great podcast. Love you guys!!

I’m not where all these negative reviews are coming from but I’ve been listening since the show started and I love it even more now! It’s sad that people have an issue that Ashley and Brittany actually care about marginalized groups and highlight their cases. As a woman of color, I feel included. Get over your own biases and don’t blame the podcast. Thanks Britt and Ashley! 😊

I love Crime Junkies! I listen to 2 or 3 stories a day. I love that the episodes are not too long and that I can look at some of the crime files from the story because Ashley puts the link into the story. I am addicted!

I used to love this show and be an avid listener. But after several attempts to try and listen again and again, I am officially done. It is truly chalk board nails to my ears. The script is SO OFF. it’s as though they are trying too hard. The way they talk now is so odd and you can’t even focus on the story because of all the extra comments/words to sound smarter/descriptive/highly educated or whatever they are trying to come off as. (Not working ladies) I’m so sad because it used to be so good. The stories are not made interesting enough by them and they go in circles, off in tangents, and go too into things that are irrelevant. Hopefully they can change back to the old ways because the new ones are just not working sadly. Absolutely terrible. And I’m sorry but I CANNOT stand Delia Deambras ads!!! They are horrific and so so bad I want to scream every time I hear her voice.

I have been listening to your podcast for what feels like ages! It’s amazing and I love the fact that you guys are trying to spread the word about lesser known murders or missing person cases! But I have wonder why you call the dogs in the podcast “pruppets”? But anyways I shared this podcast with my family and now no one will stop talking about it, we are just OBSESSED!

To many ADS BRO OMG I CANAT ANYMORE

I have always enjoyed Crime Junkie and think Ashley is a good story teller. However, recently Brit has become so bitter and snarky with her comments targeting law enforcement. Granted, sometimes this is warranted but I'd venture to guess that most of the time , Brit, you don't have the full story. Her venom and hatred towards LEOs is palpable. She is a nasty, hateful woman who adds zero to the show. Ashley, I know you are loyal to your friend, but she is bringing your show down.

Well researched, good storytelling, enjoyable to consume

The old episodes were so well executed and overall the best podcast for crime lovers. Unfortunately the past year or so every episode has at least one segment preaching everything is racist or political.

I used to LOVE this show. Listened religiously. Now, if we even get an actual episode and not a Counter Clock or Park predator or another show plug, it’s hard to listen to. They used to stick to the facts, and it was all about the crime and such. Now it’s cop bashing and all social justice warrior. Stick to crime. We don’t need the tangents on LGBTQ or whatever other social justice warrior schtick for that episode. Such a shame.

These ads make me want to hit a pedestrian with my car. Good podcast overall.

I found this podcast very recently since I had run out of other things to listen to. I do love the stories HOWEVER I absolutely cannot stand listening to Brits “what?!” and obvious, ditsy questions. She adds nothing to the podcast but irritation to the listeners. Also, the politics are getting insane. Would love it if we stuck to facts and educating about the justice system, not your personal opinions. And the ads are annoying. That’s all.

Please please go back to the original format and cut down the ads!! It’s actually absurd how many ads are interlaced in this pod. Please also stop trying to shill other podcasts on the main show!

i started listening about 2 weeks ago and it’s safe to say, i am HOOKED. i started from the very first episode (on spotify before i knew about apple podcast lol) after nonstop hearing my grandma talk on and on about how much she loves the podcast and even though i realized an incline in ads, it’s not hard to just skip past them and enjoy the rest of the episode. you guys are great!

This podcast was always my favorite now it’s so beyond one sided it’s infuriating. The last episode about the baby girl devin has NOTHING to do with her death. It was word for word about the wrongful conviction. It’s fine but at least title it not the victims name. Extremely offensive stuff now unfortunately

They inject politics into everything and who wants that? I was trying to listen to a crime pod… it’s an election year, literally no one needs an extra dose of personal politics right now. Also, Brit… demand a better script for yourself. It’s a bit embarrassing how silly you sound.
