    Insightful and informative conversations!
Dr.Carrie Pagliano does a fantastic job at delving into active mother lifestyles, as well as, postpartum mental health and care. However, Dr.Waggel’s episode on perinatal mental health was particularly captivating, focusing in on intrusive thoughts and exercise during pregnancy, providing a new outlook on maternal mental health!

    Real, Raw Conversations
Carrie is a great host that asks direct, powerful questions to get the guests providing empowering answers. As a guest, Andrea Herbert, Carrie was engaging and I LOVED our conversation. I wish this podcast existed for me years ago!! Thank you, Carrie!!

    Love this!
“Active Mom Podcast” offers a unique perspective on the pregnancy and postpartum experience. I started listening with the most recent episode featuring Dr. Stephanie Waggel. Her perspective on medication management for mental and physical health issues during pregnancy were so reassuring. I didn’t know I could see a psychiatrist who specializes in perinatal health. Will definitely be recommending her to my pregnant friends. Excited to listen to more episodes!

    Insight for the Younger Generation!
In the “Active Mom Postpartum” podcast by Dr. Carrie Pagliano was very insightful for someone part of the younger generation who is curious about mental health affecting mothers and especially learning more about postpartum depression. In the recent episode featuring Dr. Stephanie Waggel, this podcast gave me a newfound perspective about the difficulties that mother’s go through. Dr. Waggel and Dr. Carrie bring these serious topics in a more lighthearted way which made the podcast more enjoyable. In addition, Dr. Waggel goes onto talk about her journey of running a marathon postpartum which was inspiring to hear. Overall, learning about different difficulties like dementia that pregnant women face as addressed by both Dr. Pagliano and Dr. Waggel makes this bring more awareness on pregnancy and postpartum for all people!

    A Postpartum Bestie
Finally! Someone openly talking about postpartum and how to navigate. I have watched women around me suffer because they lacked a go-to for some of their questions after pregnancy. Active mom postpartum is an answered prayer and the gift of empowerment which is so healing! There is so much actionable advice for how to stay fit in a healthy way postpartum.

    Thank you! Love these!
Just started listening! Loved the Laura Green conversation. So informative. It’s so nice to hear about mama runners having similar experiences to me. Feels so less lonely to have so many moms sharing their stories about getting back to sport after having kids!

    Great listen for new moms!
I started listening to Carrie’s podcast a few weeks after giving birth as I started to think about exercising again and am hooked! I’ve learned a ton about returning to exercise as a new mom and the broader field of pelvic floor PT and love the personal stories of the guests. A great listen!

    A must listen!
I love Carrie’s podcast! As a PT and mom of 2 small kids I find each episode to be relatable but also with some action steps to take. Her guests have a wide variety of expertise so you get lots of knowledge. I feel it’s accessible enough for non medical professional moms but also relevant for professionals in the field. I especially love the interviews with James Clear, Rachel Rubin, and Antony Lo! Looking forward to a second season of the podcast

Thank you so much for this podcast.
I am a mom of 2 and I’m 5 weeks postpartum. The first time around, I think I started full on running way too early postpartum and I didn’t really know what I was going, and my milk supply plummeted a few months postpartum. I felt like I had to choose between my love of fitness and breastfeeding and I’m scared of having to deal with that again so I searched for some postpartum fitness podcasts to learn a bit more and I came across yours. I just want to say THANK YOU for the short and informative episodes (ideal for busy moms of little kids) and I’m binge listening as we speak while walking my kiddos in the double stroller. Thank you for setting up these interviews with these amazing guests, and I also appreciate your easy-to-listen-to voice and your perspective a few years down the road from postpartum life. I’m a new subscriber and I can’t wait to keep listening!
