The rotation of guests on the show is excellent - from journalists, policy experts, military and government representatives, and more. Good hearing from Israeli as well as Arab perspectives. Their coverage of the current situation and discussion of future scenarios in the region is in depth and thoughtful. I look forward to listening every week and getting a little more of a handle on a very complex situation!

These commentators ignore whole swaths of information and it detracts from what could be a helpful policy conversation. There are so many examples. Here are some but far from all: 1. Biden has encouraged Iran’s aggression of Hamas/Houthi/Hezbollah through endless billions in sanctions relief, and blowing up the Abraham accords 2. Biden’s State Dept has generated so many mixed messages including many warnings to Israel to not attack Gaza including ON Oct. 7 th 3. Pretense that Biden is running anything in this time period 4. Pretense there’s a clear distinction between Hamas fighters and Gaza citizens Overall disappointed but helpful to understand just how much antipathy the PM faces not just from the US Democrats but the domestic media.

It's a little bit too liberal and anti (the Democratic Israeli) government when allegedly representing what should be Israel policy/democracy.

Israel Policy Pod is easily the highest quality discussion of American foreign policy regarding Israel and Israeli politics and foreign policy from an American perspective available. The team takes on difficult and complex issues with honest, fact-based analysis.

IPP is offering unlimited, uncritical celebration of Netanyahu’s choices when Serious people need to be offering serious ideas. Not to mention treating civilian casualties in Gaza as afterthought that merit barely a sentence.

the sound quality is so lacking

I was looking forward to hearing about Israel policy and while there was some of that. It would have been more interesting and effective if the host and guests didn’t present everything with political slant. I was hoping to hear something that was non-biased and factual instead of a political rant.

Seriously one of the best podcast to be found in covering development in Israel.

This podcast provides excellent analysis and an unbiased look at the news. Neri is an good interviewer and when he doesn't have a guest on the show his own summary and view of events is just as informative.

I tune into this podcast from time to time. It does well in capturing expert insights into the wide scope of Israeli policy issues, delivered by a diverse community of analysts, defense and foreign affairs experts and journalists. An excellent example is the July 19th 2022 episode with Ehud Ya'ari providing his analysis of the power alignments forming in the Gulf, Centcom (Eastern Mediterranean) and beyond. This is the type of information you will never get from mainstream media outlets outside of Israel.

When you piss off people on the far right and far left, you know it’s a thoughtful, fact-bars podcasts that holds institutions and leadership accountable and has a wide range of analysts and writers and activists from Israeli and Palestinian backgrounds to hold respectful, informative conservations about pressing issues and lesser known social and political trends in the Middle East today.

Leftist apologist garbage. Very disappointed. It’s sad that some Jews do not realize that we have no where else to go besides Israel and US. Arguing with other Jews about semantics in their own land. We only have one land. But yet you all are doing your damned best to shrink that and give equal rights to Arabs that already dominate the region with a population of 22 Arab countries to 1 Israel or over 1 billion Muslims to not even 7 million Jews. Sad. Imagine Arabs going on shows and podcasts and bashing their own people going against the safety of their own. These people are weak and give the anti semites the fuel and perspective they need to attack Jews. It takes no backbone and it’s shameful. It takes way more balls to stand up for your own and even in the face of international anti semitism and anti israel sentiment, standing up for the only home of the Jewish people. IT BE YOUR OWN!!!

To listen to this Palestinian and Hamas apologist is so disheartening. The overly sympathetic treatment of people who have turned down statehood at least three times, never with a counter offer. Never showing a shred of goodwill, launching war after Intafadah, after terrorist attacks for over 70 years. Do not merit sympathetic treatment. Where is the Palestinian Martin Luther King or a Palestinian Gandhi? Where is a the nonviolent protests. It’s nowhere. They have a history of violence dating back to before the 47 partition Plan which was as we know accepted by the Jews and rejected by the Arabs and immediately launched war.No other country has bent over backwards to accommodate a hostile group within their country as has Israel.

Although I’m an avowed hawk re: Israel v. Palestine, this is one of my preferred sources for opposing viewpoints - very measured and thoughtful. Since discovering it I rarely miss an episode and frequently scroll through past episodes.

I am ideologically to the left of IPF and so enjoy this podcast and their weekly emails. It is important to consume news and analysis on this topic from many different angles simultaneously and i am happy with the IPF content which pushes me to think hard always and reconsider/strengthen my views on Israel/Palestine.
