    Amazing podcast but
I love this adaption of the original story but the only problem I had for the show was it was hard to keep track of at the start. I was also disappointed to see there was no season two despite the hints but hopefully we’ll get that soon now that you are done with the Wastelanders series.

    Love it
I this my favorite Marvel podcast. I’m just upset that they set up for the first appearance of the Skruls or Secret Invasion in a season two but they left me hanging.

    Unsatisfying
I was excited to find a Marvel story hoping to enjoy a little of the adventure and action storytelling I loved in my youth. This was neither. I do not need a morality tale from my favorite comic company.

    Love ❤️
So far I really love all of the immersive sounds and background drama. It makes you feel like you were actually there.

    Amazing podcast
At first I was pretty confused with all the news reports and stuff going on at the beginning and some of the flash backs but when I figured it out it was amazing with a great mix of real time and flash backs and ending with a great cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to season 2!

Great story from entirely different POV
Wow! Not what one expects. Cannon story retold in a unique fashion. Truly fantastic indeed!

    Skip this one
I listened to both seasons of Wolverine and all of the episodes (so far) of Old Man Starlord, and I started listening to this hoping it would be as good; it is not. The voice acting and sound design are fine, but the story is just terribly lacking. It's essentially a one-man-show/monologue. Skip this one if you're going through all of the Marvel immersive drama podcasts.

    An amazing story experience!
I will be so sad when I finish these episodes. The combination of vocal acting and sound design make this podcast so enveloping that this style of podcast has become my favorite. Getting this alternate view of the Galactus story makes me really want to go back and read the original books. This show is making me seek out Moree podcasts from these creators!

Wasnt sure what to expec... but this was fantastic!
Everything about this production was top-knotch—the acting, the writing, the sound design ... I only wish the podcast was in stereo, at the very least 5.1 would have been even better! Still, I'm surprised how little the mono mix actually bothered me. It actually kind of helped the imersion into the 1960s atmosphere, where a stereo recording of this kind of event would have been far less common. All in all, as many other reviews have said, ... More, please!!!

    Fantastic!
Really hope more of these are made with different comics too! This show was great!!...or I should say Fantastic! Please give us more!!!

    Decent
Decent story and nice to see it from a “normal” person’s POV. The characterization of Reed Richards here seems way off though. Enough to lower the review a bit.

    More Like This Please
Listened to this because of Marvel's Wolverine podcast. Very good mystery/drama. More radio shows like this are needed.

We say “Flame On” to this series!
Another fantastic tale about the struggles of superheroism, but this time from the perspective of non-super heroes! Megafans will enjoy references honoring print comics that bring together characters not typically seen working with (or against) each other in blockbuster movies. This investigative story is told in between multiple timelines requiring the listener’s attention to detail. Which brings us to our only critique: The trigger for alerting the audience to a time jump was inconspicuous. Most of our confusion during debriefs would have been resolved with a clearer understanding of the timeline (production could take a note from #homecomingpodcast ). Overall, the mystery the story presents, the earnest voice acting, and the layered sound design was as rock solid as the Thing! Check out more our our reviews on Instagram @apodcastclub

    Slow Action
I don’t know much about Marvel Universe stuff, so don’t know if the super slow pacing is typical or true to the material it was adapted from. It’s cool Marvel hired people who had worked on their own independent shows. And it sure sounds nice, with great acting. But the writing isn’t very focused or enjoyable.
  • imciberrana
    Well done!
This was a reminder of the early radio broadcasts. The story and/or the series held your attention until you were listening to the next week’s episode. Well done!
  • rosa manzo
It’s a nice companion to Marvels comic
I loved Marvels by Busiek and Ross, and this was an okay adaptation to it, especially since it’s about the Fantastic Four. Though, the mystery aspect of it was a bit lacking. But the cast was great.

I really like the way they are doing this through audio clips and news investigations. Well thought out.

    Great story telling!
Doing a serial podcast for a topic like this can be challenging, but they did an outstanding job! I loved every episode!

    Marvel Does It Again!
Once again Marvel proves itself to be the king of storytelling whether I’d it’s Movies, TV, comics, or even podcast.

    💩DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME💩
IT’S JUST AN INTERSECTIONAL SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIOR REVISION OF MARVELS. SAD.

    Great!
So good. Once you start listening you can’t stop. Background is so realistic.
  • nicknameis broken
    Not as good
I liked both seasons of The Wolverine better. This didn’t seem to go anywhere. If there is a second season, I hope it’s better.
  • ✨Ab✨
    Thoroughly enjoyed it!💕
I can’t wait for season 2 of this scripted podcast, because they teased it with the second invasion. Also, I want more Marvel scripted audio shows, but don’t focus on the mainstream heroes please. I want to hear stories of superheroes, villains & anti-heroes who aren’t know by most people & don’t usually get the spotlight.
  • sam654987321
    Amazing!
The sound and production was so well done you could picture the scene. The story was really good and moved forward at a great pace to keep you engaged. I really enjoyed this podcast and hope for more!

    Fantastic!
Sound design and performances are ACE! Would love to see/hear more of these. ✊

    Fun Goldilocks
Not too hot not too cold not too long not too short not too big not too small Fun good. Call back to old radio serials. Potential to apply to many marvel arcs in published catalog. Smart
  • IgnatioustheGreat
    Way to short
I love it but it’s way to short . If you add all the commercials it’s only like 15-20 minutes long for every week .
  • Buzzman1196
    Excellent
This is so good it’s like reading a comic book or even better an actual real story being brought to you by your local news.
  • auto-de-fe
    By the 5th episode
I’m still bored and I’m no longer holding out the hope that the show will get better. The Wolverine podcast was riveting, but this show is nowhere near as good. It is filled to overflowing with platitudes. I’ve had enough.
  • Mark_Keny
    Method man??
Did I hear that right? Y’all got Method Man on here?? Way to go!!
  • Agh80
    Good change of pace
It’s nice to hear a story about the aftermath of one of the most important fantastic four stories.

    Do your HW
I would definitely recommend reading the novel first and then listening to this. It’s a nice retelling.
  • Bad memory23
    Boring and hard to follow
I had high expectations for this podcast because I loved the Wolverine podcast. Unfortunately, this podcast is hard to visualize and follow. The podcast has journalist describe an event but they never really explain what happened so it leaves the listener confused and unable to connect with the story. The writers should avoid second hand story telling in a podcast. It is boring. To Marvel: Please make more podcasts like Wolverine!! Wolverine was one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to!!
  • Bragadash
Format doesn’t work for Marvels storyline
The graphic novel makes sense because you can see these giant beings they’re talking about. Listening to this version makes it feel like you’re just listening to insignificant people in the middle of chaos. The production is fantastic, the story just doesn’t work for this format.
  • Sismo52
Fantastic Four just don’t do it for me
Wolverine was great, but this one is boring. It has amazing production. The story itself is boring. Maybe because I find the Fantastic Four boring and dull as characters.
  • dajuice730
    Awesome
I loved the Wolverine series this sounds amazing I can’t wait for all of it to be released.
