BettyBoop1947Loving this podcastWell, butter my biscuit and call me a haystack, y'all ain't gonna believe this here review I'm fixin' to give ya for that there Country-ish podcast with the one and only Jon Reep! Now, let me tell ya, this show is like a big ol' slice of homemade apple pie on a hot summer day - it's sweet, tangy, and downright irresistible! Jon Reep, that rambunctious feller, he's got a way with words that'll tickle your funny bone faster than a chicken on a junebug hunt. I mean, he's talkin' 'bout all things country, from moonshine makin' to cow tippin', and let me tell ya, he's got stories that'll make your jaw drop faster than a possum playin' possum! And he ain't just yappin' all on his lonesome, no siree! Jon's got him some good ol' country friends taggin' along for the ride. They're chattin' 'bout life, love, and the downright ridiculous, and you'll feel like you're sittin' 'round a bonfire sharin' tales with your kinfolk. Now, don't go thinkin' this here show is all jibber-jabber and no substance. Nah, Jon's got him some keen insights that'll have you noddin' your head like a bobblehead doll ridin' shotgun on a dirt road. He's talkin' 'bout things like southern hospitality, small-town quirks, and the joys of a good old-fashioned hootenanny. So, whether you're a bona fide country bumpkin or just a city slicker lookin' for a taste of the rural life, Country-ish with Jon Reep is the podcast you've been searchin' for. It's like sippin' sweet tea on a front porch swing, or two-steppin' under the stars – it'll leave you grinnin' like a possum eatin' a sweet potato. So, y'all go on and give that there Country-ish podcast a listen, and tell 'em Jon Reep's Mama sent ya! Yeehaw!

williamthepainterTuesday are TakenI’m kicking my bottom trying to check in with Jon and his people. The interns, D-Allen Jackson, and that guy with the hat, Johnny Citrus. It’s funny, informative, and funky, but like, in a small town country way. Good show!

kyle.mcclureIt’s Hot!!!!!This is the podcast America needs right now! As the unofficial mascot of country-ish I would like to comment on the issue of being hot for mascots everywhere by answering the top three questions we get. Number 1…YES IT IS HOT IN THE COSTUME…40 degrees hotter inside the costume than the outside temperature! Number 2…Yes you can take a picture and have an autograph Number 3…No I will not hold your baby. A couple homestands ago I went to take a break to cool off….I went to an area of the ballpark that was not occupied and opened the door to the restroom only to walk in on a lady in the middle of using the restroom. If she was having constipation issues then I’m sure having a 7 foot Sasquatch barge in on her immediately cured her of that! Of course I couldn’t break the cardinal rule of no talking for mascots…..so I didn’t say anything…..she just saw my big dumb grin on the face of the Sasquatch and then quickly I fled the scene. It gets a little awkward every time I see her again but hopefully she will forget about over time. By the way I would like Isaiah to say Dollars Dollars Dollars Dollars Dollars Dollars Dollars Dollars!

fans of Isaiah the internA Hilarious Slice of Country Life!Smalltownfanatic92 I absolutely love the Country-ish podcast with Jon Reep! As a small-town enthusiast, this show speaks directly to my heart. It's a delightful mix of comedy, storytelling, and all things country. The "Small Town News" segment is an absolute gem. Jon Reep's ability to find and share the quirkiest, most offbeat news from small communities never fails to crack me up. It's incredible how the seemingly ordinary happenings in these towns turn into hilarious stories that leave me in stitches. And let's not forget the "Screen Actors Guild Residual Check" segment. It's like peeking behind the curtain of Hollywood and seeing the realities of life as a working actor. Jon's anecdotes about his own experiences and those of his guests are not only entertaining but also give you a glimpse into the rollercoaster ride of showbiz. Jon Reep's charm and wit keep me hooked week after week, eagerly awaiting each new episode. His ability to bring humor to both the mundane and the extraordinary is a testament to his comedic genius. If you're looking for a podcast that takes you on a fun-filled journey through the joys and quirks of country living, while also providing some insider laughs from the entertainment world, Country-ish is the perfect choice! Highly recommended! 🎧🤠🎙️

boomgzIntern Isaiah The Real Star Of The Show !!Intern Isaiah, the real star of the show New listener here! I love the show! Well… I love Isaiah the rest are just okay. I think Intern Isaiah should host the show to tell the truth. I would rather watch paint dry than listen to Jon Reep, Marc Hunt has a dry sense of humor and is such a stick in the mud. He is always saying “Well that won’t work.” and “You ain’t gonna pull that off.”. Then you have Sebastian and those big ears, I bet he picks up satellite radio with those things. Elliott isn’t there half the time, and he always has that awful Jon Reep mask. I guess that's his way of hinting that he wants to sit on Jons face. Then you have Sargeant Mark Ball, he stares at his computer with a blank look on his face. Is he watching Mermaid Porn? Anyway LOVE Intern Isaiah, and the rest aren’t that great.

Rickster3rdCountry-ish is king of the hillAll good things must come to an end but not this one. Country-ish continues to make mundane workdays better with love, laughter and levity. In spite of all going on in the worrdl there is somewhere you can turn to and tune in to bring you joy. Find Country-ish anywhere you listen to podcasts and find your inner peace. You can listen to lesser podcasts but what does that say about you? Do the right thing and download them all. THAT'S MY PURSE, I DONT'T KNOW YOU!!!!

champabaybuccaneerslike the old radio shows, lolI used to hear stories about how people would listen to comedy on the radio before television. I enjoy cracking up to the clan!

Kims cardLove the show!!Jon I have followed you since almost the beginning when you did the hemi commercials and started doing the stand ups, I would constantly look for you to watch because you make me belly laugh, especially your dad stories. Now that I somehow discover the podcast Country-ish, I started at the beginning and I watch it all day while I’m working, then when I get home. Love ALL YOU GUYS especially Marcus “Stamos” and that sexy voice, I can listen to him all day. Hi Marcus! Shoutout to Sabastian who made my day the night when you guys were going live this week. I friended him on Facebook and he personally messaged me right before your show after he saw my post and I thought that was sweet! I live not far from where he lives when he is in Florida. Thank you Sabastian you are a sweet gentleman. Don’t want to forget to say hi to THE Alan Jackson! You do a great job keeping things running! Love you guys and keep up the laughs we need today in this world, it’s good medicine for the soul! Bye-cycle!

g8ormikeAlways a good listenBeen listening since fried and been a fan since last comic standing. All your friends are great on the show as well. Isaiah wants to try all your nuts. Teabag please. Just kidding. I think it’s funny how he’s gotta read what is written. He has to be a good sport to do it. Keep on Reeping on. Coming from Central Pennsylvania thanks again.
-
steph uncLove the podcast!Hi everyone. I really enjoy the podcast. It makes me laugh every week. I went to college with “the” Alan Jackson, and I am the same age as Alan and Jon. Most every time Jon brings up something from when we were growing up, I had the same thought or know exactly what he’s talking about. “If it’s not Scottish, it’s crap”. Thanks for the entertainment. 5 stars!

Drewfurd L.Would give 5 1/2 Stars if I could..Three days after me writing this review I surprised with a knock on the door which was Reeps Pool Repair. This fella from Reeps Pool Repair offered to repair my in-ground pool liner for free. The pool repair guy assured me that his method of repair was safe , smarter and much more efficient than any other competition out here. It was hard to take him seriously due to his head looking like a dodgeball from what looked like 300 bee stings and also the fact that his repair tools were a water hose and a bag of rocks. I took his offer on his free repair service and I have to say my kids were impressed while he worked diligently as he sunk to the pool , the repair guy was even waving at us while he was down at the pool repairing it. My kids looked in amazement saying “ Wow , this pool repair man sure is smart”. Even at this moment the repair man is still down there and seems to be doing a fantastic job and hasn’t taken any breaks or even moved much at all. So if this pool repair company is related to the Jon Reep at all hopefully this review will kill two birds with one stone with this review. And by the way , comedian Jon Reep , he’s pretty dang good too at what he does. 5 1/2 stars!!

Wiccanwoman01My new favorite podcast!I’ve been watching for a few months now, and I can say this is hands down my favorite podcast! Reep does an excellent job interacting with his fans. His crew, (Sergeant, Elliot, Isiah, Stamos, Zach- coming soon, and the rest) are just as funny as Reep himself. They keep it interesting with a variety of segments, so you’re not just listening to someone ramble on a topic the whole episode. Well worth all 5 stars!
-

-
Kri$ RichThis is the good stuff!Hey Jon and friends, just wanted to come on here and say that I love what you’re doing. You’ve been an inspiration to me for a LONG time. You’ve made me realize it doesn’t matter whether you’re from Hickory NC or down the road in Lincolnton like myself, you can do what you love if you work hard enough at it. I’m an aspiring country singer/songwriter and I found you from your dads pool story back in the day and it drew stark similarities to my dad because I grew up with a pool too off of Startown rd. I actually know some of your family here in Lincolnton. If you ever have guests or anything I would love to come see how you guys do it, see what it’s like to be a part of the podcast scene and meet someone who was a big part of my growing up. I actually want to start my own podcast soon centered around music. My name is Tanner McCoy (Blythe) hopefully we can meet some day. Anyways I love what y’all are doing and this podcast, keep on rollin on!
-
Eddie WeberGood timesIf you’re ever having a bad day, or if you’re ever looking for a good time; Jon and the whole crew will keep you laughin and make you feel like a part of the family. Nothin but love guy! Thank y’all for the laughs and good times!

J15.martNew listener!!!Found this podcast from Nateland where you broke down dancing in the field at a football game in the 90’s. Love the Country-ish vibe and the straight comedy show. Reminds me of hanging out with family here in GA. Please keep them coming guys!

JasonHartsoeAlways a great show to watch and laugh with!I’m not just saying this because he’s from my hometown (Hiiiiccckoryyy pronounced Hiiickreee), but Jon is absolutely hilariously funny! Great topics, current events, residual checks, troll patrol, and special guests, that will keep you laughing for over an hour. It’s been a pleasure watching the show and his whole team pulling it all together. If you haven’t watched yet, I suggest you get started. You’ll thank me later! Enjoy the show! Thanks Jon for the laughs and taking the time to produce great content!
