    The hosts are both survivors and the show highlights other survivors. Liz and Tyler add their entertaining personalities to a serious subject, but always support and acknowledge the real trauma of each guest’s experience. Haters gonna hate…ignore the negative reviews. Their probably in a cult of their own😂

    A humorous and educational look at the many forms cults can take. It’s not just space aliens and doomsday (though those seem pretty common) but everyday organizations you too may be familiar with.

    Disrespectful and Poorly Researched
    I was deeply disappointed by the episode on MAHA. It presented a one-sided narrative that lacked critical research and nuance, and came across as disrespectful to a large and diverse group of people within the wellness and holistic health communities. Instead of fostering understanding, it dismissed complex perspectives in favor of simplistic, polarizing commentary. I expected more thoughtfulness and balance.

    I loved loved this episode! I have so many people that need to listen to it. I love how simply she put everything about vaccines and how they do more good than harm. Thank you for this episode!

    I don’t understand why the hosts can’t ask normal interview questions. This show could be so good! It’s more of the guests doing monologues (the guests are great) with the hosts interrupting every minute or so with snarky, cringy comments. So annoying and frustrating!

    Interesting guests with compelling stories, but the hosts interrupt too much, which is really annoying! Sometimes they cut in with nonsense that goes on for far too long - takes me out of it the story. I probably won’t continue listening for this reason.

    Love the subject! Love the format and humor. Love the guests and their deeply personal stories. I’ve listened to every show. Somebody once asked me if I grew up in a cult. I was very defensive about my upbringing long after I stepped away from the beliefs of my youth. 20 years have since passed. As I have listened to this show, I realize I wasn’t in a Charles Manson or Jim Jones cult, but my religious upbringing was definitely on the spectrum. I keep finding parallel after parallel in the deeply personal stories I hear. This show has reinforced that I was right in my reasons to leave. We had a prophet. We had books to sell door to door. We wanted money. We had the only true message. We were the chosen few. And bless your heart, we wanted to save you, but you still weren’t as good as those of us brought up in the light. It has been healing to move on. Keep the episodes coming! #teamboobies
