KathitoffInformativeThis podcast overall has helped the most as I walk thru my cancer journey. I didn’t know about aesthetic flat closure before this podcast and it helped me ask for it when I went to see the surgeon. We are all different in our needs and our journey is personal. This podcast explains the different paths available.

Jacquie “O”Valuable resourceI can’t think of a better person to teach us than a breast surgeon/specialist who is also a survivor. What a great resource for those of us whether diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer or metastatic (aka stage IV aka advanced), these are topics we deal with all the time! Great job @Dr.Halaharvi!! ❤️

JenTG0351Thank you, Alison 👏🏻I really enjoyed listening to Alison share her own breast cancer experience. There are so many parallels to my own story (Diagnosed stage 3 triple positive in 2018 at 31 yo while breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter). The part she shared about learning to have better boundaries after going through it really resonated with me. Also thank you for sharing the most recent research around soy and hot flashes. I take Vitamin E for hot flashes and that helps a lot. Great episode, ladies! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

jpump777Great educational and inspiring podcastI’m 42 and was recently diagnosed with DCIS. This podcast was so helpful to me to listen to from the start of my diagnosis because it helped me better understand some of the details that doctors sometimes breeze by in busy appointments. I felt much better prepared going into my first surgeon appointment knowing some of my options and good questions to ask. Dr. Halaharvi and Monica are excellent hosts and they have fantastic guests. Keep up the great work!!

Florida2013Just what I needed as newly diagnosedI learned so much from these podcasts and often go back to listen to certain ones again and again. I really do feel so much more informed and EMPOWERED when meeting with healthcare providers and making small changes in my own lifestyle to reduce the chance of recurrence.

Kelli ParrishTopicsAwesome podcast....I loved hearing more about risk factors. Other topics of interest for me are birth control pills and infertility treatment risk factors as well as more info on Phyllodes tumors! Thank you for doing this! As a recent mastectomy pt and nurse this is so needed!

D0m 51My heart feels happy!Everyone has a story. Thank you both for sharing yours with me/us. Monica’s ability to actively listen is a true gift and Dr. Halaharvi’s voice is still comforting to me (as I was also a patient of hers). I can’t wait to continue to follow this podcast!
