    Must listen for runners!
As an amateur runner for 15 years, I have learned so much in the past 6 months of listening to this podcast. I wish I knew what I know now when I started! As a run retail employee as well, this has helped me incredibly to increase my knowledge of running mechanics and helping find the right fit in recommending shoes. Keep up the good work!

    Very Imformative
I love your thoughts and opinions.. I just raced a marathon in the meta speed sky+ and I love it!! It is mainly for forefoot strikers which is why it works for me so well.. the meta speed edge is for heel strikers hence, why I didn’t Go! With that one. I love the cushion in this shoe and it gave me enough bounce back reaction to sprint at the end of the marathon. I’m glad to hear someone else enjoys this shoes. This is my favorite race shoe to date besides the cloudboom echo 3. I had tried out the vaporfly zoom 3 however it just didn’t work as well for me, luckily I only paid 100 for that shoe. I will have to try it again though. It had a funny feeling on the back of my heel and by mile 2 my toes numbed up and felt uncomfortable. Thanks again:: Eileen

    So informative
The last 4 pairs of running shoes have been influenced by the DOR, and I’ve learned so much to make more informed decisions. My current daily trainers are the most comfortable shoes I’ve run in and they are a brand/model I wasn’t familiar with previously. Thanks for all the helpful tips on gear and running mechanics. This is def a podcast I make sure to listen to weekly!

Great podcast that has helped me get back into running!
When i got back into running early last year, I went looking for information that I needed to learn about what the running environment looked like today, and content that would just be fun to listen to. DOR provides both - i love the health aspect of the content - it has helped teach me many new things and remember many old things that I needed to become a serious runner again. Highly recommend!
  • fdvsry
    Super informative
There is a lot I do not understand about the mechanics and anatomy side of running so this podcast is really helpful to break down how to train and recover with that physiological insight. I love the conversational feel and how they make things simple too
  • CurlyLk
    Informative!
It’s awesome to have this kind of insight if you are a runner. What could be better than having doctors talk about shoes and injuries and all sorts of other content. This is a must podcast for any runner!

    Shoes
Great podcast, love hearing about the science of all the different running shoes.
  • chrismurray11
    Very insightful
Aside from the generally good content, I really enjoy the folks on here bantering at times, just talking like a regular group of people. The “buy or sell” episodes are my favorite since that’s what they do the whole time, basically.

    Calling all running nerds
THIS is your podcast. I look forward to DOR episodes every week and always learn something new! My boyfriend is definitely tired of listening to me talk about shoe news haha. But seriously, give this a listen and you will be hooked on practical and entertaining content!
  • DBAlpaca
    Good expertise usually
But they talk can over each other too much, and sometimes lack background.

Great podcast to running geek out on!
This podcast, as its name suggests, is unapologetically geeky and technical about running shoes, training, data, and biomechanics. This year, I’ve really been trying to take my running to the next level, and this podcast is perfect for answering my questions.
  • Alex.J.40
Informative, down to earth, and fun!
The DoR team is a blast to listen to, and their science-backed insights should prove valuable no matter where you are on your running journey. Come for the shoe reviews, but stay for everything else when you realize you don’t need more shoes but can still learn more about your body and biomechanics!
  • PharmD Runner

    Thankful for DOR Podcasts
These guys( and gal) are great!! Love the integrity and authenticity that the DOR bring out in all their podcasts. They often look at things from many different perspectives and have an open mind about whatever it is they’re discussing. The guests they have on are very relatable, which is probably my favorite part about their podcasts! It’s so great to learn new things about not only shoes, but all the other things that play a part in a runners life:)

They don’t know what a Brannock is but it’s fine
Best resource out there for anyone who works in run specialty. I seriously find myself yelling out shoe names and literally laughing out loud. Science-based AND they know running forward. It’s rare and appreciated.

    Knowledge
DOR provides a wide array of information to runners of all skill levels. The in-depth reviews are accompanied with some medical information, mostly pertaining to people with injuries and the interaction with the particular shoe. But instead of throwing a text book at you for a “review”, the DOR team explains to the crowd in normal terms. In addition, they provide some advice to beginners / novice runners. This advice ranges from shoe selection to recovery. Their website provides some great reading as well! Thanks DOR!

I learned a lot about shoes
There are so many different running shows on the market, and it can be hard to decide which ones to spend your money. This podcast really helped me understand how running shoes work and which ones might work best for me.
