    Fantastic Podcast!
This last episode with Brady was phenomenal! So refreshing to hear that life isn’t over if you spend time in Z3. Great timing on the heat adaptation episode too with it being 90+ in Michigan this week. I always look forward to new episodes. Thank you for all your work Jason! - Grant E

Informative topics, great guests…my favorite running podcast!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for nearly a year and I’m so impressed with the variety of running topics and guests that are on each week. They are very informative and come across as well thought out, yet have just the right amount of spontaneity to keep things fresh. The interviews, and Jason’s conversations are always enjoyable to listen to. I’ve sampled multiple running podcasts, and the majority of the ones I’ve tried don’t have the same feel that The Strength Running Podcast does. One of my friends turned on to this podcast and I’ve been hooked ever since! I look forward to new episodes every Thursday and I keep searching through the extensive library as well… keep them coming! Thanks! -Bernie

Used to be good, now too many adds
Too many ads to be listenable these days, and ads are for scam products. I hope things change.

Best podcast for relevant running tips
There are a lot of running podcasts and I listen to quite a few and appreciate them all for different reasons-great guests, interesting interviews and really just for their overall entertainment while I’m out delivering mail on my route. That being said I’ve always found Jason’s podcast to be my favorite for several reasons. Maybe it’s his vast knowledge of the sport of running or the science behind being an overall good athlete, combined with having great, knowledgeable and interesting guests. Whatever it is he consistently keeps me focused and excited to learn more about the sport and how to improve myself and sustain an enjoyment for it for as long as I can. Keep it up, Jason, you are an inspiration to me and I’ll continue to listen for as long as you provide well thought out content. Update-episode #355 is my current all time favorite!

    valuable information
This podcast usually drops once a week. Maybe too down in the weeds for some people but I have learned much from Jason's interviews and in-depth handling of the subject matter. A website (by the same name) has video demonstrations that are helpful to work on your core strength and conditioning. Sometime I have to refer to videos to see what they are describing. It is essential information, whether you are training for a marathon or your local 5k.

    Oh That Yellow Runner…
Found this week’s episode very uplifting & inspiring. From blisters going to welts, to that one client of hers that almost gave up on completing her first marathon. Had me all teary eyed here when she opened the door when meeting her after accomplishing the marathon, and they both broke out in tears. I certainly did after hearing that story. Thank you Jason for having such wonderful guest on your show. Looking forward to next weeks… and yes, I strength train twice a week. A non-negotiable here.

    Great information just wish
I have gained a lot of great insights for my running, I really enjoy the episodes with physical therapists. There is an element I always feels is missing from running podcasts. What about those of us who have physical labor jobs. We are not all white collar desk workers. Some of us use out bodies all day and then train. I wish this were talked about.

    Approachable and extremely knowledgeable
I will admit I am a bit biased as I love running, but I figure most of us listening are! I have yet to listen to an episode of Strength Running that I didn’t genuinely enjoy and gain some insight. The way Jason presents the information is so easily understood while still being in depth and thorough. I feel confident in saying you will at least be a smarter runner having listened to Jason!

    Saunas
I enjoyed todays episode with Jon Levitt. (I listen to his podcast too). The sauna talk was perfect timing. I just joined a new gym that has a steam room and sauna, and that’s why I joined it. Overall I love the podcast for its content. Jason does a great job! Julia

The Only Running Podcast I Listen To
I've been a runner for the last 20 years, only taking it very seriously in the last couple however. When I got really into training, I thought 'oh man there's probably a ton of really great podcasts' but none of them are really memorable. This one is consistently solid. The host isn't annoying and always has great topics. Definitely worth being a staple in your rotation.

So much good info in here
I’ve been listening on and off for years but recently have really leaned into this podcast more. Jason does a gray job of providing accurate information in an enthusiastic manner. Definitely makes you stand a little taller and run a little quicker while you listen on your run. Thanks for all the great content, Jason.

    Awesome show
I’m a middle of pack working mom if five. I’ve just returned to running after my fourth child at 45. Rediscovering this podcast has been wonderful. Full of practical and informative episodes that can be scaled from the elite runner to me, the weekend warrior working mom. Thank you for your show!

The Ultimate Resource For New Runners!
There's so much information online that it can feel super overwhelming to know where to turn for quality information. The Strength Running podcast and website have helped the process of getting back into running feel less overwhelming. I can't afford a running coach right now, but this podcast has given me so many great nuggets that I feel confident creating my own running plan.

    Excellent for any Runner
This podcast has been vital to my running growth. Jason is exceptionally knowledgeable and he gives very well researched and proven training advice. I like how he does not sugar coat nor give information to just “please” people but he tells his audience the best way forward in their running. This podcast has helped me tremendously and has everyday applications that are essential not just during the time you run but lifestyle applications that have great results.

Great, relevant content for all kinds of runners!
Jason is such an approachable, well-prepared and open-minded host. I really appreciate the work he puts in to get a wide variety of relevant guests. It’s one of the few running podcasts where I find myself rarely wanting to skip an episode. Jason lays out the info in an accessible way but doesn’t shy away from more advanced concepts. It’s a great balance!

    Best Running Podcast!
Highly recommend! This podcast is informational while entertaining! I got back into running this past Spring…the last “serious” time being middle school track and cross country, with the occasional post-holiday season run the last several years. Jason is engaging and instructive. I’m working towards my first half marathon in a few months, and it’s helpful to learn and hear insight from those with more experience. The “behind the scenes” into coaching calls is also super helpful, and the questions that are asked are ones I too am curious about. Jason goes in detail, in an understandable and easily digestible way. This is one of the best running podcasts I’ve come across! I’ve implemented some of what I’ve learned and have definitely scene improvements in my running abilities!

This guy rocks. I’ve listened to all kinds of podcasts looking for the “faster & more experienced runner stuff” and I’ve finally found it. This podcast covers all aspects of running, and has great guests. If you don’t like the first podcast, just scroll down till you find your fit, Jason covers it all.

    Short Shorts 4 the Win
I’m in my early 40’s and I’ve been running/training for 13 months. I’m very close to my goal (for now) of running a sub 20 5K. While I can take all the credit for staying extremely consistent, I must tip my hat to Jason, this podcast, and Strength Running YouTube channel. This pod has been a source of inspiration for me, and has served as a breaking system that has certainly kept me from over training and injury like a overzealous noob. There’s a glut of personalities out there giving advice on how to run longer, faster. Jason, though, if you’ll listen, will stand apart because he presents his philosophy in a way that is wholistic and long term. You can tell he gives a hoot. Not every episode is my jam, but I always take something from each and every one because of how he expresses his passion for running, and having the best conversation possible. Just listen.

    Running explained strength 🏃‍♂️ 🏋️‍♀️
Two of my favorite podcast hosts and running coaches on the same podcast ~ truly a strength-running-explained extraordinaire! My favorite thought: “It’s not realistic to think we are metronomes.” Discussing very specific workouts shed very practical suggestions that is going into my next running work outs. Thank you for this super helpful marriage between pace & effort - running explained strength 🏃‍♂️+🕵🏻‍♀️+🧑‍🏫= 🏋️‍♀️

  • Coolest Running Pod

Jason is the most knowledgeable and articulate runner out there. He has guests that offer such a variety of knowledge, both professional and “commoners”. it’s a very diverse podcast in terms of the topics and guests. I can tell Jason really loves what he’s doing. His passion is obvious and that is appreciated by his listeners.

    One stop shop
I have been listening to the podcast for the past year. After taking 10 years off from training and racing, Jason’s podcast has been a one stop shop to find current best practices for training, racing, nutrition and strength training. I also recently followed Jason’s Advanced Marathon training plan and went from 3:33 to 3:15 in just one training cycle! Thanks Jason!

    Information, mostly opinion or antidotal
Couldn’t get into it. Too much opinion based recommendations and not based on science or studies

    Super helpful and entertaining!!
This podcast has been so helpful as I trained for my first few half marathons! I’m currently training for my first marathon, and thanks to Jason and the guests on his show, it’s going wonderfully. I always feel encouraged, empowered, and better prepared to face my next week of training after listening to the Strength Running Podcast. Game changer
I’ve been listening to the Strength Training Podcasts for a few months now and it has a been a real game changer. Due to an injury, I had to run more in the treadmill which I hated, so I started listening to podcasts to make those miles less boring but they’ve done so much more. Not only they make those miles fly but I’ve learned so much. They cover great topics that I’ve found super helpful related to injuries, setbacks, mental training and all those things that make running “harder”. I’ve heard stories that I feel identified with, and tips I’ve been applying in ny everyday running. It’s honestly great!!

This podcast can make you a better runner! And is a great listen, too :)
There are a lot of running podcasts out there, but Strength Running really focuses on topics that have given me actual tools to improve my running. Whenever I reach a point in my training where I don't know how to move forward, I will look in this podcast’s archives and there is almost always a podcast that addresses the exact topic I need. And Jason is so great that the one time I couldn't find an answer, I emailed him and he did a podcast episode on that question! Just so amazing. The podcast is also so entertaining episode after episode. Jason is a great host, he gets interesting expert guests, asks the perfect questions, and then gets out of their way. Whether you’re a novice of a salty vet, this podcast can sincerely help you to become a better runner and is also a great listen. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this, Jason!
