I love this podcast as a resource for advancing learning and development expertise however I do find the presenter too opinionated and quite negative and I can lose interest quickly during the sharing of these opinions. Saying that, I still listen as I love the topics and expertise of the guests that appear on the podcast!

In the 3 months I have been listening to David James’s podcast I have learned more about our industry than in my decade within the profession. David, thank you for your sharing and shepherding on these critical topics that ensure L&D holds value and relevance for the businesses we serve.

The pod fills a critical need for L&D professionals to hear practitioners of forward-thinking learning. Every episode is a call to challenge old ways of thinking and encouragement to be the change catalysts our learners need to become the learners of the future. A must listen!

The playlist focus on perfomance strategy, leadership and how L&D is rapidly changing. Also enjoy that the podcasts are the pefect length for my commute!

I’ve listened to the first podcast with Nigel Paine, and, gosh, it is such valuable information! I am in a mid-level L&D position, and I read a lot about what we should be doing to transform our role in the organization, but I don’t often hear “how” - how do I, in my role, help to transform our organization into a learning organization? Thank you for presenting the “how” in a simple way. I’ve finished this episode with a list of action items that I am excited to get started on! I look forward to listening to the remaining episodes and reading Nigel’s books!
