    I am not a weightlifter, bodybuilder, nothing of the sort. Iā€™m a mom and grandma who is trying to get herself together after all these years of giving to everyone else. This podcast is simply refreshing and can be applied to everyoneā€™s life in one way or the other. For example, Season 1 Episode 2 was riveting...and encouraged me to never allow anyone to put a price on my integrity. Thanks again guys-keep at it!

    Such a good listen. I thoroughly revel in the fact that James is just a straight shooter. Even though heā€™s in the health/wellness/fitness industry he tells you what not to waste time and money on. It doesnā€™t benefit him to do some of the things he says and does. Gotta love him. Also love how him and his relationship with his pals are. Great job!

    Love the banter, the knowledge, and the genuine integrity of James. If you care about authenticity, follow him. I listened to the first few podcasts when he started it, then I took a break to listen to other podcasts, but ultimately came back and forgot about how much I enjoy the way he explains concepts. As someone who used to be chubby and never exercised or played a sport, started competing in bikini and figure, struggled with negative food associations, negative body image, going from exercising to training, learning the difference between dieting and nutrition, and having a perpetual curiosity for self development, I absolutely agree with every ā€œhealthā€ topic discussed. I spent 2019 with my intention to be ā€œhealthier physically, mentally, and emotionally.ā€ Whatever image coincided with being the healthiest version of myself is all I wanted to be because ā€œhealthā€ is more important than ego. The improvement never ends with that mindset. Itā€™s not being unhappy with your current state, itā€™s being more aware about the actions you do in the moment that are progressing you or keeping you the same. Itā€™s refreshing to listen to him because 1. Heā€™s spot on about the topics. 2. Integrity of his beliefs. Thanks for the great content!!!

    Okay podcast
    Okay podcast, but has lots of bias. He sort of has a superiority complex, as in, ā€œNo one else in the world is brave enough to talk about this topic, but lucky for you, here I am talking about itā€ blah blah blah. Also belittles veganism and its environmental benefits on his instagram. Iā€™m far from vegan, but it was in poor taste.

    I follow you on IG, and today while walking to the gym decided to listen to a podcast. I chose #6(I think) it was about losing fat for females. At 45, I have been struggling with self esteem, pushing myself harder and harder, eating less and less in my effort to lose weight... with depressing results. You explained so much, and made me cry thinking about what I am putting myself through emotionally and mentally. Thank you for giving this mom of 3, thatā€™s starting menopause a new perspective. I am grateful. šŸ’š

    I just discovered this awesome podcast and love it. Love exposing the darker side of the fitness industry as well as the knowledge shared on fitness in general. You would think that as a 58 year old American woman this podcast wouldnā€™t resonate with me but it really is for everyone because out of desperation people will throw themselves into anything that promises desired results and are marketed specifically to do so. Love this!!!!!

    Jamesā€™ approach to health/fitness has really helped reverse the negative effects of crappy social media/fitspo in my life. The reality checks he offers are so refreshing and somehow they are a really unique combination of forgiving as far as the fact that we are all human yet not forgiving at all when it comes to BS/fads/unrealistic expectations. Beyond being grateful to be grounded in my health again, he maintains his casual personality while actually giving facts, and being honest when he starts rambling or possibly not knowing what heā€™s talking about (some of the most hysterical moments)

    James cuts the junk from the fitness industry and tells it to you straight! I really enjoy the episodes as they all relate to me and my fitness journey. Not to mention, itā€™ll all pretty funny as well. I wish I could live my life and talk the same way in my line of work. Bravo James!

    On the surface, as a 46.5 year old American mom of 4, I shouldnā€™t have much in common with or interest in what James Smith has to say. Except I am trying to lose weight, build muscle, and eat right for a life time. No fads. I also happen to own a business, and James has a lot of great things to say about work life balance and choices. Thank you James! I enjoy your social media accounts, videos, and podcast immensely! I also love how much you love your parents! ā¤ļø

    This man, James, is truly entertaining and intelligent at the same time. Like most fitness/nutrition information, I filter and choose whatā€™s best for me. I canā€™t say Iā€™ve ever heard him push anything that wasnā€™t genuinely helpful. I love his podcast! I listened to him through my workout this morning, at the grocery store while shopping and even continued when I got home and was putting groceries away and doing meal prep. Keep up the great work!     I found James' podcast after watching his body fat scanners rant that someone shared on Facebook in April and binged every episode since. I love Jamesā€™ perspective and honesty on health, wellness, fitness, etc. He is also very relatable and informative. My favorite episodes are #6 and #14 as they were so informative and enlightening. I learned more about how my menstrual cycle effects more than just my cravings and whatnot around that time of the month in one podcast in episode 6 and gained so much more knowledge about supplements in episode 14. So, thank you, James! I canā€™t wait to hear what you have coming down the line!

    I was stuck in traffic for three hours listening to this podcast. It was so enjoyable to listen to that I didnā€™t care so much about the traffic. Jamesā€™ accent and voice are also calming.

    I listen to this podcast from Paris, while going to work, in the metro. Not only do I learn a lot of information in terms of sport, health and well-being, but it also makes me put many things into perspective. I like his approach to life and the fact that he doesn't take himself too seriously. The content is very much accessible to everyone and that I highly recommend it!
