habus grandsonIt got meI’ve always loved aerospace engineering and listening to this again has locked me in for going back to school. Something about wings and the sky where we as people aren’t meant to be that makes pushing the limits fun

DeftSpecterAwesome! What an excellent podcast. It is an absolute pleasure to listen to and a beautiful reminder of my time with Lockheed Martin. Don’t underestimate this as a powerful recruitment tool to help recruit the next generation of Skunks into the fold. My very best to the people involved in the production of these episodes.

podcast rakerTrusted With Secrets was insightful and entertainingThoroughly enjoyed this podcast. The various stories told from the security perspective were interesting and balanced the engineering centric accounts. Keep producing these quality podcasts.

fkebwjxGreat podcast but who is the female narrator??Love the stories and what I’ve learned from listening to this, but really curious who the female narrator is and wondering why she’s not named or credited! Update: Season 2 and still no idea who she is. Really bad podcasting etiquette and seems sexist.

bigwern11-217Please don’t stop this series everI’ve found plenty of podcast that I can honestly say that I love. None of them have I ever given stars to, much less write a review. This podcast is so great. You have somehow found the perfect fit of informative, entertainment, and inspiration all in the same podcast. I love the fact that you guys get interviews with actual test pilots and engineers for their own account of events. It’s not just another podcast a regular person telling a story, but THE people telling THEIR story. Coming from someone who grew up with pictures of the Blackbird, and Nighthawk on their wall as a kid and still to this day in my office. I’ve been a huge nerd of aeronautical history, success and failure stories. The audio quality is impeccable. I love that that with the background jet noises and music it brings everything together. Please don’t stop this series ever.

Q4242Some good stories, but VERY biasedFor people already knowledgeable about Skunk Works there isn’t much new information here. There are some good first hand stories in the early episodes from the SR-71 and F-117 programs, but after that the podcast transitions into biased corporate cheerleading. Based on its episode you’d be forgiven for thinking the F-35 is the most successful and trouble-free program in LM’s history. It very much isn’t. At times the podcast comes across as a new hire orientation: sanitized corporate history, glowing corporate culture testimonials from current star employees, always bright and cheerful, etc. Overall the podcast was just meaty enough to hold my interest - the episode about the current development of the Compact Fusion Reactor being my favorite - but keep in mind that there are large, very important gaps in this story and that you’re being advertised to for the entire runtime.

Crashem73An insight to the dreams of many Americans. The things that make America wonderful. If you had a SR-71 poster on your wall or wish you had, then this is the podcast for you
-
TheBaconDaddyGreat PodcastIt so fasinating what lockheed and skunk works have done in the past and what helped them achieve their goals. I'm studying engineering and this motivates me to try harder and harder everyday. Especially the episode titled "Crashing is success" it reminded me that sometimes I need to fail in order to learn. Can't wait for season two and keep up the good work!

Rox1001You seem to have “gone away”The shows that were broadcast were pretty good. Especially the last, which deals with semi-new projects instead of events from 70 years ago.

Bob HuffmanWowI've read a lot about the Skunk Works but nothing goes into the details this podcast does. If the first episode is any indication of how good this podcast is going to be, they have a true winner. Audio production is great. Can not wait until the next episode. Thanks for producing this.
