EtherealGaiaHomophobic HostI do not support homophobia and Jimmy happens to make these comments publicly on facebook! Bad look for someone trying to make it big on a podcast.

hunts tomato ketchupBMT Bonus EpisodeLoved your BMT bonus episode with Dave. Brought back a lot of BMT memories and memories of Dave. Dave and I were instructors together at Silver Flag Alpha. He gave me my first leadership roll. He was a great leader and mentor. It was awesome to hear you two chop it up!

Drifter A.D.great interviewThank you for the interview with Jeff Gunnells. I have appreciated his contributions to hardcore since the mid 90s. Wish him the best.

LV Aoki ShinyaThe same old story...I give 5 stars because it is a solid podcast and represents the hardcore and metal communities very well, but Jimmy rambles way too much and if I have to hear the story about how he accidentally got into hardcore via Leeway at a Suicidal Tendencies and White Zombie show way back when, I’m gonna put my head through a wall. Avid listeners don’t need to hear the same stories every single episode, I wanna hear about the guests hence why I’m listening. I know the script: “By accident” I got into hardcore because I went to a Suicidal Tendencies show and White Zombie played before they were big, they looked like a bunch of homeless people playing, Leeway opened and I was like, this is amazing, and there is no gimmick, it’s like a bunch of regular looking guys playing this insane music.” I think I listen now just to see if he’ll actually go an episode without telling that and a few other stories he tells every episode. Aside from that, love the podcast.

Rapid TransitThank youGreat podcast for New York Hardcore people. Loved the Sick of it All interview, thanks!

monkdethMissing New York!Jimmy does a great job with the Brooklyn Blast Furnace podcast! Great combination of hardcore, horror, and the temptation of food. Several episodes I hear little bits about where they are at, or someone talking about a recipe. I usually get hungry listening. Living in the Northwest I also miss the New York slang and accents. The guests give a great overview of what they did and where they are. The what they did usually triggers great memories of hardcore shows and records from the late eighties into early nineties! Thanks Jimmy & keep up the good work!!!!

SPS805RespectYou’re a good man, Jim! I’ve been a podcast junkie for the past year and this one has been in my top 5. I’ve never missed an episode this year. Thanks for doing what you do and keep up the good work! Respect from Ventura County, CA!

JgfjdhvkoitrfvdsjhnGreat conversations, Rick Ta Life bootleg cassette audio qualityBBF nets some great interviewees and the conversational interactions are really natural. Unfortunately, the audio is hit or miss, usually miss, with the loud diner sounds of silverware and background talk often drowning out the guest. I had to tap out on the Paul Bearer one. That’s my only issue. Great questions, nice flow, really good guests.
-

James TsapGreat flow and down to earthJimmy does a fantastic job booking relevant guests with amazing stories. He has a knack for keeping the conversation flowing and getting his guests to be comfortable and open up like only a Brooklynite can. He allows you access as a guest at the table to join the conversation. Highly Recommended.

jlisa1967Addictive series.Always interesting interviews, not only music. Even if I wasn’t a super fan of some of the bands, the discussions were enough to spark interest or to revisit their output. Great series. Hope it continues.

John GblahblahWe're over here nowLove the show, Introduced me to music and personalities that I would have never been hipped to. Great work Jimmy!
-
David MoidelOne of a kind...Jimmy Ferrari and the art of the interview. He has some really unique and special guests, but he doesn't do the formal interview thing. He just has a conversation, imagine that? Just like he just ran into the person on the subway. This makes for the best interviews because the guest is relaxed and just tells stories and experiences. This is why I listen. Thank you Jimmy for helping me get through my commute each week!
-

The Jerry FarleyEverything New York & Hardcore in one big rollatiniThis show is a funny, open-minded, respectful & laid back show representative of true Brooklyn, New York. -
Vinny HooliganzReally fun, really relatableReally fun, good mix of banter and real discussion, and a wide spectrum of viewpoints represented, even if it's mostly progressive (which I'm into, haha). I've listened to a bunch of episodes since my friend Jerry was on it. Nice to hear "real" Brooklynites talking about things that are sadly invisible to the rest of Kings and Queens county, but still present to us who were born here, or got here before there was a Whole Foods on Bedford. Keep it up!
-
JvkeboxheroFantasticReal working brooklynmusicians talking shop with other brooklyn artists. Its what you want.
-
Knocko NolanWelcome to Brooklyn, USAThe Boys from BK do a bang up job bringing a diverse group of guests, with an emphasis on the hardcore music scene. In between the ballbusting and stories, it brings me right back to my stoop in Queens with the fellas. Great job lads!
-
