    This One is Different
I really like this podcast. It tells the story, provides tips and does it all without glorifying the act or dwelling on the gore. It’s different from other true crime pods I’ve listened to. That doesn’t make them bad, but it definitely makes this one special.

The best source of advice and edu. on active shooters
Katherine and Sara get to the bottom of the matter in these events. They give practical and actionable advice to everyone who want to be prepared. They don’t glorify the assailants and highlight the silver lining moments amidst the tragedy. Excellent podcast!

    Informative and moving
Love these ladies! This is an informative and interesting podcast. So much to learn, especially “run, hide, fight”. We can do so much to change and each story gives us insight on what to look for. I like that this podcast isn’t exactly the same “entertainment” as many true crime podcasts, but fills that interest in a completely different and interesting way.

    Great information for everyone
About a year ago, I read the “Stop The Killing” book by Katherine Schweit and I found it fascinating. With her background as a journalist, attorney and FBI agent, Katherine brings a skill set to the subject that would be hard to match. Now, as a podcaster, she brings these stories to her audience with plenty of details and thoughtful analysis. She answers the questions that I would ask if given the chance. I would recommend this podcast to everyone who has an interest in the subject of gun violence. The first season concentrated on the big active shooter events that we are all familiar with. Now, the second season continues this but with several bonus episodes and some excellent “guests” that add even more expertise and perspective to the subject. If you want fact based discussion with real suggestions for what to do in these dangerous situations, “Stop The Killing” is the podcast for you.

    So Informative
As someone living in the United States I am so thankful this podcast exists. It is the unfortunate reality that the actionable steps provided in this podcast are things all US citizens should be aware of and I am grateful for the information being out there. I recommend this podcast to anyone that not only wants to be more informed about gun violence, active shooters, and mass shootings, but also those who want to gain knowledge on what they can do if they are ever in such a situation.

So worth every minute…you have the power to help stop the killing
Katherine and Sarah have great chemistry as co-hosts, outlining the facts of each mass shooting, and discussing what worked and what didn’t. The conversation is riveting and informative. I finished each episode feeling more empowered, better prepared to say something if I see something. I highly recommend the entire series. Can’t wait for season 2!

    An UN-BELIEVABLE Podcast Experience!
Stop the Killing is an AMAZING podcast! It is exquisitely and professionally produced, and informs, inspires, and educates AND entertains - all at the same time! Yes, you would not expect a podcast about mass shootings

    This is an important show.
Everyone needs to listen to this show. The hosts are both so great and outline and discuss the REAL FACTS surrounding these horrible events. I also love that the DO NOT glorify or give these shooters any kind of recognition other than what they really are. Shows like this are so important because in order for us to learn how to STOP THE KILLING. We need to look at all of the facts and the whole story so there are no more “next times”. If you want to listen to a FACT BASED show with real experts on the subject then this show is a must listen.

    Amazing Podcast
This podcast is incredibly informative to all things happening in this day and age. It’s unfortunate that podcasts like this need to even exist, but thankfully Kate does an amazing job describing these situations in a way we don’t hear on the news. If you enjoy true crime, this is incredible and I highly recommend.
