Brainwashed

Brainwashed investigates the CIA’s covert mind control experiments – from the Cold War and MKULTRA to the so-called War on Terror. It’s the story of how a renowned psychiatrist used his unwitting patients as human guinea pigs at a Montreal hospital, and the ripple effects on survivors, their families, and thousands of other people around the world. It also examines the cultural impact — how the CIA brought LSD to America and inadvertently created counterculture influencers such as author Ken Kesey and poet Allen Ginsberg. It’s an exploration of what happens in times of fear, when the military and medicine collide. And what happens when the survivors fight back. Program continues remotely
60 years of technological advancements have allowed government funded shadowy organizations to continue programs such as this using the same techniques. Remote neural monitoring, directed energy weapons, voice to skull Technology, Or V2K allow these people to use techniques, Such a Psychic driving, along with artificial intelligence to force behavior changes in American citizens without their consent. They use no touch torture techniques in order to discourage victims from actively resisting.

    Unsurprising leftist nonsense
“So-called” war on terror. That’s all you need to know to understand these geniuses.

Believable because I know it happened
As I listened, it reminded me of my own personal experience that confirms some of the things they talk about in this podcast. My father, who was a counter espionage agent in the late 40s and early 50s, had been given drugs to accompany other techniques in an attempts to make him forget secrets he knew. I sat on his lap as a child and lit the cigarette they gave him that were laced with drugs (LSD?). It didn’t work. He remembered things that they didn’t want him to remember. And coincidentally (?) over the next several years there were three attempts on his life. Coincidence?

    So so interesting!!
I was not expecting this podcast to be so addictive! I ended up binge listening while I cleaned my house all on one day. I’m in my mid 30s so I actually thought that MKULTRA was an urban legend. The stories I had heard before listening to this podcast sounded too outlandish to be real. Unfortunately, I feel like this story is not well taught or discussed in my country (US). Podcasts like this are fantastic for keeping the truth alive. As for the content, I thought that it was very well presented. The creator approached it by focusing on the human consequences of these sociopaths that allowed for these things to happen. While this may be boring for many of the history buffs, I think that it is an excellent way to engage the masses in topics they may not typically be interested in. It is so critical that we remember our history. Especially all the dark parts because, if something this inhumane occurred with the intention of strengthening our venerated military, then there are DEFINITELY sketchy programs like this going on to this day. Awareness about our history allows us to think critically about the news we encounter (assuming you are consuming LEGITIMATE journalism- not FOX, OAN, and all that propaganda parading as “journalism”). History has been repeating itself in so many ways through 2020. It makes me wonder what the CIA is up to these days. Unfortunately, we probably will never know.

    MKUltra is interesting
Brainwashed is not. Save yourself the time. I would rather go through MKUltra than be forced to listen to this podcast again.

So far, so good… Nice to finally come across a decent dive into this fascinating subject. My dad worked as an assistant at the local state hospital when I was too young to understand …he’s gone now, and I never got a chance to talk to him about it. He kept his ID badge all along, we found it stowed away when he died. He got back into nursing after all us kids were grown, so I know the profession meant something to him. Before I grew up, all the mental institutions were pretty much closed or gone. Don’t get why. That could be an episode you should get into, considering the state of mental health care in USA + Canada in the modern age. 🇺🇸🏴‍☠️🇺🇸🗽🇨🇦🏴‍☠️🇺🇸 Only other comment I’d add rt now is that sometimes the episodes are a bit hard to track along with, and having to back-track in midst of episodes to see if/what I missed listening along the way. Might have to adapt by doing 3, 4-episode binges. Overall, really interesting 🤔💭

    Not awesome but good
I like this show, but it could use just a bit more depth. Nice work :-)

    Last episode killed it
Does this podcaster seriously think we should feel sorry for how people who planned the murder of thousands of Americans were treated? It’s the real world welcome to it smh and psh. Then you compare American soldiers to Nazi scientist experiments. Learn the difference between terrorist and innocent victim. If you plan and do kill innocent people you are in a different catagory then being experimented on because you are Jewish. Wow the shame.

    Have to listen too close
There are a lot of moving parts that get confusing. I find myself drifting off a lot and not totally engaged because there is constant changes. Also, doesn’t explain a lot for people that don’t know exactly what therapies are what.
