rosalleaFascinatingHave followed from the onset and find Brandon’s pod informative, fascinating and real. I sometimes feel that judgements of callers is too slanted and lacks understanding and depth of how desperate and messed up those with mental illness or in poverty can be and dislike the harshness and stereotypical manner they are judged or assumed to be lowly criminals . Not to excuse bad behavior but the woman in the latest episode obviously had issues. Add being frightened and intimidated when detained which escalated craziness and fear. Dealing with intensity and dysfunctional people can effect one’s perspective but would appreciate less judgment when there is not enough knowledge to form a sound opinion. All lives have stories and a touch of compassion is needed. I’m not excusing bad behavior but some people live messed up lives for reasons. Best to offer a balanced opinion. And it’s ok to only produce bi monthly podcasts to ensure quality, especially when working so much.

KatifusAmazing showYour show is top notch. Your delivery is so good and so informative. And of course the southern accent! One thing though just for educational purposes. On your August 1 2024 episode “Shots Fired”, you said Deaf people use TTD’s to make phone calls. This is no longer true (with the exception of maybe 1% of Deaf callers.)They now use video phones and sign language interpreters through a “VRS”- Video Relay Service. I work as a sign lang interpreter and often interpret 911 calls. TTD’s are a thing of the past.

marker02Crandon EpisodeI’ve been listening to you for quite awhile. Enjoy your podcasts a bunch. Just went back and listened to Crandon. We own a cottage up there My dad and grandpa built it in 1948. Still the best place to be. Crandon is a great little town!

courtmartialPure geniusBrandon knows exactly what we want and when to deliver. Hysteria and hysterical worth every single second!
-
pillow aseFantasticI am brand new to listening. And I love the way Brandon tells the story in the perspective of a dispatcher and law enforcement. I have learned what to do and what NOT to do if you ever have to call 911.
-
Big SinchoCrazyBrandon does a good job of filling in the details plus he runs a tight show. Glad i found this podcast.

ddeexbInspired, thank youHi Brandon, I’m not sure if you see these with applepod casts, but I wanted to send you a thank you for your show. Last spring I hit a point in my career where I decided I needed to be doing work that made a bigger difference in people’s lives (rather than selling them things.) I’d be listening to your show regularly, and it kept coming back to me, the idea that dispatching could be the right next step for me professionally. Maybe I could build a career in emergency services. I pulled the trigger and left my prior position in late spring and started applying for any agency I could find. I landed a position and made a significant move, and have been in training since September, and I absolutely LOVE it (the team and the position.) we are a small enough agency that we take calls and dispatch both fire and police (calls/radio 100%) I’m still trying to develop a split ear, but I’m getting good feedback and feel like I’m getting better and more confident each day. I just really appreciate you for making and sharing your show, I don’t know that I would have found this path otherwise and it has had a huge positive impact on my life. Merry Christmas for the west coast! Diane

SuperDuperMick18COWARD!Saying I don’t want to talk about the most important thing that affects all of us aka politics, is basically saying I am a stupid greedy fool and I’m scared to say my political beliefs because I want the money from both sides! Just tell me you’re not a trump supporter so I can keep supporting the show?! I need to know the host of my podcasts isn’t a racist! Let me know and quit being a greedy coward!!!!
-
MylissaRLOVE!I love this podcast! It’s real, no hype, with the perfect host! So much appreciation for 911 operators and first responders!

bflyangelGrippingIf you find yourself screaming Play the 911 call!! when you’re listening to true crime podcasts, this one is for you. He’s got the goods.
-
Kb4901Amazing PodcastThis podcast is produced amazingly. Brandon Hall is a long time dispatcher, with decades of experience. He tells these stories with dispatch audio, police audio, etc. I’ve been drop-jawed on multiple episodes while listening. The episode ‘Paws and Order’ was one of my many favorites. Give it a listen.

Caraholler1992My favorite podcastThis podcast is addictive! You need to listen to it!

Lila GGPhenomenal911 calls are some of the most harrowing recorded material out there and, in a landscape of insensitive true crime, can be among the most gratuitous. Brandon handles this material with so much grace, care, compassion, and professionalism; you honestly cannot find a better TC show with primary source material. Bravo; keep it up.

lilfrostySONYA WAS MURDERED!!He joked about her being dead before she even opened the door. If that’s not a red flag I don’t know what what one is. The partner sat there while she was being talked down to & if they were so scared of her why let her go through bags? She can have a weapon in one of those bags, right?? Proof they didn’t see her as a threat. They should not have been in her house always. He had no reason to ID her. He asked her to go to the boiling pot and then immediately acted scared. It felt like a set up. Why was his bodycam off??? Why does he seem disappointed that the partner’s bodycam was on?? She had her hands up when he shot her. He called her a crazy b—- after right after her death. He had absolutely no remorse. Neither one of them got any water on them. Saying you don’t know whether this was justified is RIDICULOUS! His partner should have checked him at the door. You don’t joke about someone’s death and then get to enter their home with a weapon. Not to mention police killed her 4 year old cousin Terrell Miller earlier this year too. Just disgusting that you seem to gloss over how disrespectful they were to her the entire time. 😡

Adrienne H.13Awesome hostLove Brandon’s delivery. He just gets better and better. I feel like I always learn something, it’s fascinating, and I have new respect for dispatchers (law enforcement & other first responders too)!
-
CatsRuleHumansDroolAbsolutely love this podcast!I only recently found this podcast because they were featured on another podcast I listen to. I am hooked. The voice, the way the events are told, all of it is perfection. Can’t wait to binge listen to all of the episodes!

AnnieT541Really enjoy this show!Love the show - and the narration & explanations from the experienced 911 Dispatcher. Very well put together! Definitely recommend!
-
StinaMasFinaGreat podcast with challenging audio at times which is understandable.Brandon, Thank you so much for this show! I feel like I needed this education should I ever need to call for help. Thank you to all dispatchers/operators for your service! I greatly appreciate all you do! It’s a very challenging job with little respect and no where near enough pay! Keep up the great work! Please.

Hushpuppy3837My New Favorite Podcast!Brandon, the host, does an incredible job with this podcast. I have been an avid true crime listener for years. This podcast takes it to a new level being able to listen to 911 calls. I’ve learned so much listening. While I’ve never had to call 911, I now feel like I would be better prepared. But beware! These calls can be difficult to hear at times. These calls depict people in their scariest life and death situations. I have a newfound respect for our 911 dispatchers and first responders. They are truly heroes.
-
stri89I love this show!I can’t say enough good things about this show. I love being able to listen to the calls, then getting the whole story afterwards. As a true crime junky, I love how different this show is compared to most. I love stories, but I love how “real” this show feels. I look forward to listening every week, and I tell people about this show all the time! Keep up the amazing work.

sandiegoRN37The best!I have listened to A LOT of true crime podcasts over the past 5 years. I am generally not a fan of podcasts that rely heavily on 911 calls but this podcast completely has me hooked. I’ve never subscribed to a Patreon quicker! Brandon does it in a way that explains everything and you really don’t feel like he is letting the call tell the story on its own. He puts the work and the research in. Plus his voice is so nice. Really really good, definitely a 3 way tie with my other two favorite podcasts. But I have to say that of all the podcasts I subscribe to these days, I get the most excited to see a new Music City 911 episode loaded!
-
Spot-liteGreat show!Taking ‘true crime’ to a whole new level!
-
EsilegThank you for covering topics quickly!I’ve been following Riley’s case as it’s all I’ve seen here in Springfield lately. Due to them being part of our community my heart has went out to his family. I stand in prayer for him and I pray just as they used resources to find him, that people still rally around his family. As it is not over for them. I just started listening to you and was in hope you would do coverage for Riley. Thank you!

DominoodleOutstandingBrandon, the cadence of your voice is exceptional. All of the recounts are both informative and thought provoking. I have always had high respect and admiration for first responders. 911 dispatchers are in a league unlike any other. The selection you choose is very enthralling. I have binged everyone of them. Please keep the podcast going! And thank you.

N8WellsMusic City 911If I could give this 6 STARS I would. I’m a HARDCORE true crime fan, this format is so unique and facinating, it’s being so close to the situations as they are happening. This is THE BEST of THE BEST.

MaverickAbundanceEnjoy the PodcastReally enjoyed the collaboration of Podcasts for VD day! Thanks guys!
-
HerMissiVery interestingI enjoy hearing the other side of things. My favorite episode is about the working dogs!
-
birdgang1420Pretty good. Some bias bootlicking, understandably.A tad too much bootlicking and blasphemous defense of some dispatchers even when they are clearly no doubt about it in the wrong and sucked at their job. But I get it. Protect your own. Still a very good podcast if you like real life audio.
-
GeeJadenInsightful, sensitive & constructive. We do not get to pick the time and place when emergencies happen, only our responses to them. Dispatchers have a grueling and under-acknowledged responsibility in our society and this podcast has been illuminating to the strange, the wicked and the downright heartbreaking calls they may face any moment of any day. Brandon sheds light on the dark places these calls can go while providing useful tools for people faced with emergency situations. He is sensitive to victims and tactful in the ways he narrates around the calls. This podcast has become a favorite and must-listen. If you love this one, definitely check out Brandon’s bedtime stories too. While a totally different kind of podcast, he does an incredible job lulling you to sleep with and safe and comfortable feeling. Thank you Brandon! Keep doing your thing!
-
CambreyCranerLoveEasy listening! Like 10000 other people, I really enjoy Brandon’s voice. But more than that, I appreciate that he gives his educated feedback but leaves the emotions out of it. Really great listen!
