This podcast has been such a blessing to me
I have been listening to MTTG For years the podcast has always brought me joy, but I didn’t know how much of a comfort it could be until now. I lost my dad last month and since then it has been hard to sleep, but I have been listening to old episodes and hearing your voices that I have listened to for years has helped me actually be able to get some Rest. Thank you so much for what you do. you guys don’t just bring the gaming news every week you provide comfort, laughter, joy, and a reminder that God is good in every circumstance of life, what y’all do is a ministry. Ed I know I tell you this all the time but thank you for what you do. your twitch streams are something I look forward to daily and help me to get through the week. Thank you doesn’t feel adequate enough for how much I appreciate you all , But that’s the best I can do so thank you and God bless y’all.

    Missing Gabe
Gabe's tragic loss continues to overhang the show weeks later. While I can't fault the 3 other hosts for not being able to replicate the energy and presence Gabe made, it doesn't feel the same. Also, I feel like they need to better articulate if or how they plan to fill his spot. It's definitely a sad situation and hopefully they can bring back some of the former energy at some point.

    Sorry for a great loss!
My first episode was the episode about Gabe Patillo passing away. I then listened to 600. As someone that didn’t know him (but knew of his father) my heart was filled with sorrow. I was once in the industry and spent a few years at GMA… so I knew most of the people mentioned. My was filled with joy knowing that y’all are followers of Christ and that as friends yall are there for each other. My prayers go out to the Patillo family and to the family of listeners that have been a part 600 + episodes… many blessings.

I Praise GOD for this Podcast
If you'all have been listening for a while or you're just new to the podcast, welcome! You're going to love this one! This podcast has four amazing gentlemen who love Christ, love their families and wives, and certainly love gaming! If you have a hard time keeping up with gaming news because you're pretty busy with your own life, these guys have got you covered. They'll pull out the most important topics of the week so that you can stay informed. But I think we all know that our favorite part happens right at the beginning where they share how their week has been. And we also love when Chris tries to sing the ice cream song... Well, this podcast certainly deserves five stars. Also, to the MTTG team, this podcast has been a blessing to me every single week. I have been listening to this podcast for the last 4 1/2 years, and it has become an essential part of my week. And without y'all being open about your faith in your journeys and testimonies, I wouldn't have known about warrior gaming. I praise God for equipping you four gentlemen for this podcast. Thank you so much for being vulnerable, prayerful, and loving over these last 11 1/2 years.

Married to the Games is the peak of podcasting. If you are just finding this podcast, congratulations! You have hit the jackpot. I started listening to MTTG in 2017 and this show was my gateway into the world of podcasts. Little did I know that I found the best show and community first try. As I've listened to other podcasts, I've realized that The guys have a tight format that makes a two hour podcast fly by. They bring you in as part of the family and every Friday is like catching up with friends. MTTG also has the best gaming community on the internet, so stop in and relax a while. If you enjoy top quality podcasting, this show is for you.

It’s all about the gaming…… mixed with a little real life!
I’m new to this podcast but I’m full in! Great topics every week with the different questions of the week to real life happenings. MTTG has just shot right to the top of my listening list every week.

In 2019 I was looking for more podcasts to get me through daily chores or to serve as a reward for making it through the week. 2019 wasn’t the best of times for me and, wouldn’t you know, Voldemort was coming. Searching the app for video game podcasts I found Married to the Games and I am so glad I did. I came for discussion of games and gaming related news but I stayed for Christmas movies from Blockbuster, Dad jokes in April, Chris getting caught unprepared, weekly life updates, and getting into some QUESTions. Thank you for sharing your lives in addition to your perspectives on video games. - FluxCap1955

Anyone nostalgic for ice cream? Chris?
Hey guys! This podcast is one of my favorites as you guys know how to bring the good vibes and it makes me excited for the show each and every week. That said I remember a certain little jingle a certain co-host “rocky roads” real hard!! Come on Chris!!! Break it down one more time! For dad joke month. Thank you. -edgar39

HI!!! So I’ve been listening to the podcast for about 7 years(I’m 17 btw) off and on with my dad(TheTruTechDad aka Professional529) and I’ve started listening every week since your game of the year 2022 episode. I absolutely love this podcast and there hasn’t been an episode that hasn’t made me laugh. Also I know how y’all feel about a certain game called, life is strange. It actually happens to be one of my favorites of all time. The only thing I ask is to try life is strange 2 you don’t need to play the first one before it. Thank you for your time and I’m excited to hear the dad jokes that make me wanna rip my hair out

    Hey guys!
As a busy father I can appreciate your show a lot because it can be hard to find time for yourself and play games or listen to gaming shows. You guys do an awesome job of helping us keep up with the barrage of news that happen every week and making it feel like we’re just chillin’ with the boys. Keep the outstanding work.

    Brothers from other mothers
Started listening back in 2015 while living in Japan and going for runs around the Peace Park in Hiroshima. The guys, whether Tim, Tim, Gabe, Chris, or Ed are able to share their love of life, games, and each other each and every week while giving you that “umph!” you need to keep going. Now back in the ‘states and can say your consistency to stay real and down to earth is just what everyone needs, especially just after you caught Kratos’ axe again right before that final hit. Keep on keeping on and thank you for your time and dedication, gentlemen.

    Unlike any other podcast
Amazing podcast. It’s a great way to end the work week. It’s unlike any other podcast on the planet though because if you bribe the hosts with gifts they will eventually bring you onto to the team! In all seriousness, it’s a great podcast being equal parts informative and banter and all parts high energy.

The dynamic between Gave, Tim, Ed, and Chris is like a well-oiled machine, their personalities mesh so perfectly and their banter is on point. Trust me, you'll feel like you're part of the conversation and you'll be tempted to chime in with your own thoughts. If you're a gamer looking for a podcast that's equal parts entertaining and informative, you've hit the jackpot with Married to the Games.

    A star for each host
I found MTTG 9 or 10 years ago while looking for a family friendly podcast. It took a good bit to find it but definitely worth it. This show has been there through the ups and downs of life. While I’ve never meet them in person, I’ve had the pleasure of talking with them either through gaming or streaming. They are as genuine as they seem on the show. If your looking for the real deal, look no further. I rated a star for each of the host because I didn’t want to forget that ol Timothy Hall.

Perfect video game podcast for dads
This podcast is all around great! The content is really entertaining and joyful. The mix of video game talk and family talk is the perfect combination and represents the real-life juggling act that busy parents who also play video games deal with daily. Also, this has become the podcast I know I can listen to with my kids in the car - no bad language! I save The Kinda Funny podcast (also great!) for when it’s just me! Highly recommend these guys!

    Am I old now?
I love listening to podcast while at work and this one hit home. As a dad of 3 who tries to squeeze game time in between soccer games, work, and the business that is life I find this podcast very relatable! Keep up the good work.. side note for Gabe, when I was in high school I went to camp electric in Nashville where we were able to get some guitar lessons from some notable bands and I sat in a session with Tim Roseau so I found it interesting that my music and game worlds collided in this podcast!

    Thanks for the Decade
I have listened to this podcast for about a decade after 500 episodes. I was looking for a new podcast to listen to when I got engaged. I thought there must be a podcast for gamers who are grown ups; who have to deal with bills, kids, and work, but who still try to squeeze in a couple of hours a week to play video games. I’m glad to say this podcast exceeded my expectations. The hosts have built a community that can connect over our love of family and video games. I’m thankful that I have found my tribe here, and hope that you join us, because we are married to the games.

    From fan to family
I started listening because my brother got the twitter handle from Gabe at a tobyMac concert. I am a huge fan of tobyMac. I stayed for the welcoming environment that this podcast provides. These guys are consistent. They never miss a week. They are also engaging. They really care about their listeners and if you should choose to stick around, you will become part of the MTTG community and we are family.

    Happy Friday!
I have been listening to this podcast for two years and feel like I have known these guys for a life time. As a father of two and married for 12 years I have finally found a relatable podcast that matches me and my hobbies. Every Friday when my phone informs me that there are new podcasts available and I see Married to the Games pop up I audibly say “Yes!” And my wife looks at me weird. I recently moved to Colorado and away from all my childhood friends and miss our get togethers and conversations. This podcast helps fill that void and makes my Friday’s even better. Thanks for all you guys do and keep up the good work. Gabe I’m glad you had the positive outcome with your medical concern. Ed keep up the awesome streaming and YouTube videos. Chris I’m jealous of your message from Snake. Tim don’t let your age get ya down.

    Married to the Cast
Hey guys (I’m really talking to the cast as Ed reads this). I first found out about Married to the Games when Gabe was on Kinda Funny last year. I’m a Christian, a missionary at Purdue University in fact, so what attracted me to the podcast was a group of guys who had the same two beliefs as me: God is good and video games are cool. I don’t like jumping right into the middle of things, so I went back and listened to the entire show and finally caught up this last week. I’ve listened to many video game podcasts, but this one is definitely my favorite. Gabe, Chris, Ed, and Tim are all so relatable as everyday guys. Gabe, everyone I tell about the podcast I start off with saying “one of the hosts tours with Toby Mac” and they’re instantly impressed. Chris, I was just wondering, if two vegans get into an argument, is it still called a beef? Ed, my hometown is Goshen, IN, which isn’t too far from you in Auburn which is pretty cool. And Tim, I love history and I was actually born on George Washington’s birthday. So jealous you actually got to know him! In all seriousness, this podcast deserves nothing less than 5 stars. As a married father of 2, I’m grateful to have you guys make my week a little less stressful, and a lot more fun. I’m not just married to the games, I’m married to the cast.

    An Overdue Review
I’ve been a weekly listener of the show for two years now, and the MTTG crew deserved five stars from day one. I look forward to the guys weekly take on games, as someone who is also trying to balance kids, wives and nine to fives and still play. Even more impressive is if you look beyond the podcast you will find an amazing community that supports it. I recently experienced first hand how great, supportive and kind this group of people can be. Thank you ALL for everything you do! Keep up the amazing work.

Hi this is Andrew Stapleton you might know me from my old YouTube channel Raising A Gamer, I went by the name Cool Knight. I love this podcast I have been listening to it during school. I’m having a fun time listening to it. My dad and I listen to it sometimes together and we can’t wait for the future episodes.

Had to update this outdated review
It used to be 5 stars when it was the two Tims and Gabe. Now it’s a Tim, Gabe, Ed and Chris. And well... it’s still a 5 stars. I love it even more now. The addition of Ed and Chris has made this podcast even better. I absolutely love the chemistry and back and forth these four do. Truly is one of my go to podcasts. Definitely worth your time

Is it possible to give this podcast 10 out of 5 stars??!!
In the year that has been 2020 and Voldemort, this podcast has been a blessing and a bright light. Discovered this podcast when Gabe did a cross over with Kinda Funny in February. Decided to give a listen and this podcast quickly became my top podcast. The positivity and joy the Gabe, Tim, Ed, and Chris bring every week, even when the world seems in chaos , makes every Friday that much better. These guys bring a personal element of themselves to Kids Wives, 9 to 5s and the love of gaming makes them very relatable to everyone. On top of making the best podcast, they have also built the most amazing community that are welcoming and continue to push the positivity and joy that they bring. Be sure to give this podcast a listen and be prepared to have joy, laughter and positivity brought to ur lives.

Games and Life, Life and Games
I listen to over a dozen gaming podcasts each week, including from Giant Bomb, IGN, Kinda Funny, Game Informer, and more. I like all of those podcasts… but I don’t like Married to the Games, I LOVE it! Each week, I looked forward to hearing the newest episode of MTTG – it’s becoming a ritual. I get the kids to bed, sit down to play a game, set my podcast playback speed to 1.0X (a rarity for me), and tune in to hearing the latest from the cast. After listening to industry insiders all week, it’s really refreshing to hear these gents talk about games in a way that reflects my own struggle to balance gaming with other life duties. Homes, families, jobs, Voldemort – these guys are transparent about it all. Oh yeah, games too – they talk about the games they’re playing, the latest news and rumors, and their reactions and predictions. The old episodes are a fun listen too, I did the full relisten. It’s a real trip down memory lane to relive the entire lifecycles of PS4 and Xbox One (…and WiiU). Gabe, Tim, Ed, and Chris (and also Tim Hall in first 180 episodes) are all excellent hosts, each bringing a variety of gaming preferences, experiences, opinions, and insights. Try it out and you won’t regret it. P.S. put a dollar in the patreon tip jar and join the most respectful gaming community on the internet over on discord -BobbyMac265

    The stars aligned
I started listening back in early February when Gabe was on Kinda Funny. It’s crazy the way it all worked out because I was jumping around from podcast to podcast, not finding any that I really connected with, it was only about the second or third episode of KFGD that I had ever listened to and I heard Gabe talk about the MTTG podcast. I went and checked it out just to see how it was and I was not disappointed. Fast forward to the present and I have successfully listened to every episode you guys have put out! I am in the lucky position of having a job where I can listen to my phone, so I made quick work of the episode backlog, even going as far as listening to 21 episodes in one day!! You guys have brought so many smiles and laughs that my coworkers look at me weird and wonder why I’m laughing to myself so much. Now that I am all caught up though, I find myself thinking that the next episode can’t come soon enough! Thanks for being amazing examples and one of my main sources of entertainment, aside from video games, of course.

1 out of 1 Stars when simplified
After throwing a dollar in the tip jar (huhhh) for almost a year I feel it’s finally time to use my work iPad to leave a review (Android FTW). I drive upwards of 20 hours a week for work and listening to MTTG is by far my favorite part of that time. The content, personality of the crew, and amazing community by far make this the best podcast I listen too. Out of the 5+ gaming podcasts I listen to on a regular basis this is the one I look forward to the most, and is the only podcast I have gone out of my way to find related content such as discord, Facebook groups, and now the YouTube channel. Keep up the amazing work.

My 5 year Journey with this podcast
This is the only podcast that I still look forward to every week. I still miss Tim Hall but was amazed when the podcast was even better with the addition of Chris and Ed. I have lost my voice Yes Yess Yalling! Curled up laughing over buttery biscuits. Even shed a few tears during weekly updates. So if you enjoy video games, family, whatever the default is, coffee, Dad jokes, and chubby ninjas. You have to come check out this podcast. It has it all and more... Hiphip28 Ps. Family vacation has been rescheduled for July 2021 in Nashville. If anyone is in town or available dinner/lunch/coffee on me. Hope to see you then. -George

This is the best podcast EVER. Don’t agree? Listen to it. Then you’ll love it (hopefully). Great Guys, Awesome News, Great Perspective
I started listening earlier this year. I now look forward to Friday morning because I know I will be able to listen and feel as though I am right there with you guys laughing and learning the news I care about. I can’t say enough good things about this podcast, I did not think I could relate to guys I have never met at this level. You guys are natural, honest, and wholesome. I feel at home listening to you guys and even my non gamer wife enjoys listening along! Thank you for making my newly long commute to work much easier each week!

Stumbled upon these four AWESOME guys just over a year ago on IHeartRadio. I've listened every week since and look forward to it weekly while working on Friday nights. So without further a due......LETS DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

Great for fathers with gaming habits!
I’m 42 years old, 5 kids and am addicted to video games. All my kids love games as well, from mobile, switch, Xbox, ps (we are console agnostic) and we love playing co-op. I love this podcast because it speaks to me so specifically. These guys are chill and I love hearing about their families and how they balance it with their love of gaming. There are other great gaming podcasts but they either have bad language or they talk in detail about games, game development, gaming business and those speak to me as much as these guys. I love MTTG because they balance it so well. A little bit of life, a little bit of games. Plus, these guys are funny (or they try to be!). Much love to Gabe, Ed, Chris and Tim. You guys are the best and the highlight of my week! Happy to be part of the MTTG family (and they really do treat you like family)
