I won’t repeat what everyone else has said about the podcast, it’s pretty good and for a glutted niche (self-help; entrepreneurship) she is not an amateur disguised as a guru (marie forleo) or annoyingly chipper. HOWEVER her content is chock full of snuck-in affiliate referrals (where she gets a commission if we buy) and that undercuts her credibility and puts me on guard. She literally has entire podcast episodes that are all one big infomercial where she gets a commission, for example for Show It.

Wow! This episode is just what I needed to jump off the fence and get my lead magnet done and dusted. There is no one better than Amy Porterfield when it comes to crafting your best offer and building your email list through lead magnets. Episode 690 is the perfect one to listen to, whether you are a new online entrepreneur or a seasoned business person with years of experience. You’ll get the basics and then you’ll be exposed to some juicy advanced strategies. Amy infused this episode with her extensive experience, her love of the process and joyous celebration of outcomes. She compassionately holds space for you to grow into the marketer you will become by following her teachings. I love how she is always upgrading her knowledge and only shares her best ideas. I understand podcasters need ads to support production but ad breaks being inserted *in the middle of a guest’s sentence* is maddening and very off-putting.

When I tell you this podcast is a GOLDMINE! As an entrepreneur whose starting a service based business, this podcast has challenged me in so many great ways! I literally don’t know where to start to rave about this podcast but let’s just say I plan on joining DCA and list building society as soon as I get the funds to do so! I have found 1/3 mentors for my online business. (Amy mentioned doing this in her episode about what she would do if she started a business again … excellent podcast in helping me focus my efforts!!!) okay I’m done but you need to listen to this and BUILD YOUR EMAIL LIST!

I had been a long time fan but I see you are speaking at a conference with a well known grifter. So I looked up a few things and see you are associated with the YAP network. It is well known they buy their way onto podcast charts and cheat their way into looking popular. Amy you don’t have to cheat like those scammers. You already are popular by your own accord. It’s so sad to see a business show like your show feels the need to do this. It sends a really bad message if you are a marketing show and you cheat the charts.

Just the right amount of can-do and info. The perfect burst of good energy when you find yourself losing focus…
