    Intrigued by The Archers?
You will become glued to it after you join the DTD family and join us in the conversation, speculation and occasional ducking from Jill’s flinging of flapjacks. Come join us!!

    Five stars
I give five stars after every episode but it seems the written word counts for more in the ratings algorithm. So, here goes. Sunday morning coffee is that much more enjoyable while listening to this breakdown of “The Archers” week. You are very much appreciated. Thank you!

    Y’all is my lifeline!
I count the days down till Sunday when DumTeeDum is available. To put it succinctly, Steve is my boyfriend, and Jacalene is who I want to be when I grow up! Their knowledge of The Archers is uncanny. And as a fellow American, shout out to Tracy in California and Witherspoon with Angus haggis! 🇺🇸💕

    Long form Archers discussion!!👏
It’s great to have access to a long-form discussion series about a well done, long term British Radio show, not commonly listened to in the USA. I like the intelligence, warmth, & varied opinions of the presenters. The Archers’ historical anecdotes & tidbits are really great/enlightening, and the humor always enjoyable :)

    Dumteedum delight
Dumteedum is a gem. Affable, witty, and knowledgeable hosts pull together the musings of The Archers’ global listenership every week. Always funny, always insightful, and always worth a listen!

    Excellent
Sometimes I listen to The Archers just so I have context for listening to DumTeeDum!

    Royfield makes the real fun.
There is a clear sense of community and caring around what would otherwise be without it, a boring 50s+ rural farming, audio drama. Because Royfield makes the party and all the party favors, I may even drop listening to The Archers altogether, and only listen to this program.

    Better than Ambridge
I’ve been listening to this podcast for nearly a year and look forward to the weekly episode- always thoughtfully written and presented, it never lets me down!

    Love it!
Really miss my 15 minutes in Ambridge on Saturdays, so thats when I catch up with the chatter on DumTeeDum. Only recently started listening, (to DumTeeDum) it’s great to hear what fellow Archers fans think about the goings on around the village. Awesome podcast, just the right balance and friendly voices, nothing worse than an annoying accent or voice on a podcast!

When you need more cornyness after the Archers
Sometimes an hour of British WASPYness just isn’t enough. Roifield and gang have hysterical impressions of the podcast, they take the show SO seriously which makes Dumteedum all the more entertaining. If truth be told though, I stick around for the song after the show. Roifield has divine music taste.

    Better together
I love The Archers. I don’t have anyone IRL who knows or cares to discuss the show. The podcast is well done, both production and content. Thank you!

This podcast is a godsend for anyone who wants to delve into everything about the quirky radio soap that comes from radio 4 BBC.The charming hosts have a lovely website DumTeeDum.com . The program covers social media activity during the week and is insightful about plot lines, character development and the quality of the writing!

Next best thing to living in Ambridge
I finally clued into The Archers just a year ago and can’t get enough - and thanks to Philippa and Quentin, I can spin out my obsession for another hour every week. What an endearing and hilarious bunch of groupies this podcast represents. Thanks for putting out your lovely, kind, funny vibes in a somewhat insane world!

    Loved this show until now.
I have listened to this show a long time, As an expat in the USA it was a little bit of home . Then Lucy left, Roifield stepping back and the the awful, condescending, humourless Quentin Raynor. I gave Five stars because I’ve loved this show for along time but it’s time for me to unsubscribe

    Roifield, DON’T GO!
Times change, new opportunities arise, from new blood springs new life, BUT…Roifield is the intellectual and charismatic heart of this show! It just won’t be the same if he leaves! Please stay, Roifield, at least for an every-other-week appearance? Also, what happened to Amber’s Week in Ambridge? It seems like some of the regulars leave the show quite abruptly, and it leaves me wondering about drama-behind-the-podcast-about-the-docudrama…!

I started listening to The Archers just over five years ago, which makes me a Fairbrother. About a year later, I found DumTeeDum on Twitter. The hosts are witty and interesting. It’s a bit like having a long tea break with other fans capped off by a few G&Ts.

Lucy and Roifield are terrific. I enjoy this podcast and recommend it. If you don’t listen to the Archer’s....start... So you can listen to this show. I reviewed this podcast when it first started and I must say it has "legs". The wit and opinions expressed are entertaining. This is a must listen for Archers fans.

    Beyond brilliant
I love The Archers, and I LOVE DumTeeDum. Lucy and Roifield, the co-hosts, are funny, insightful, and bring a whole new dimension to the show. The “caller-innerers” add insights that vary from incredibly funny to incredibly poignant. It’s a supportive community that can praise and criticize all aspects of The Archers (plot, actors, etc.), but not in a mean way. Definitely listen - whether or not you listen to The Archers!

    Perfection
As an Anglophile lost in the middle of the US, this show has fostered a community and connection with other like-minded individuals. Even if the Archers have a bad week (script-writing or direction), Lucy and Roifield are always perfection. They have such a delightful comedic chemistry together and I could listen to them ramble on just about anything. Lucy’s summary of a week in Ambridge is always better than last week’s and always hilarious.

    it's brilliant
Its such a relief to find other obsessed, irreverant fans/critics...

    Worth Every Minute!
I confess I endure listening to the Archers just so i can follow DumTeeDum! Lucy's weekly summary is hilarious, and according to Roifield, it's always better than last weeks. Do yourself a favor and give this a go.

    Just a lovely podcast
If you are a fan of The Archers, it’s a great place to be. Roifield and Lucy have created a great little show talking about the week in Ambridge but the best part is the community that is actually part of the show. You not only love the commentary from the hosts but you are invited to join the conversation and yes even be part of the show ... it is simply lovely.
  • Idaknow
    A great community
DumTeeDum connects archers listeners from around the world together. The podcast is witty and sweet, with the personal stories that let us listeners feel we know our hosts and caller-innerers.

    Love All Of It
I’ve been lurking for a few years and love Roifield and Lucy and all DummTeeDummers. My fave is Lucy’s Week in Ambridge.

    Love it!
Fun, funny, and lots of Archers rehash. I’ve listened now for a few years and it just gets better.

    Perfect Archers companion podcast
I stumbled on Dum Tee Dum a few months ago and what a joy! Yes they may go off on a tangent but that’s part of the podcast’s charm. Think of it as an Archer’s equivalent of Test Match Special! Subject matter comes first and foremost, but occasionally you need to go off piste, that’s all part and parcel of it! Keep up the good work Roifield, Lucy & Co!
  • Missmegan1521
Loving send up & earnest discussion of The Archers
Somehow I managed to get drawn into the Archers and then as an American, I needed someone to talk about it with. Well done show & love Lucy’s weekly summations.

The best friends I have never met
I've been listening to the Archers for 11 years. As a New Englander, I have never actually met another listener. ...until Lucy and Roifield. They let us in on their chats discussing everything Archers and more. You don't need to even know or like The Archers to enjoy your seat at the table. They are clever, sincere, and so funny! Lucy's monologues are hilarious! They deserve an award for creating a global community of brilliant people who truly care and respect one another. Nobel Peace?

    Allaying homesickness
Can’t remember how I came across DumTeeDum, think it was a recommendation on Twitter, but I’m so glad I found it. Roifield and Lucy have a wonderfully relaxed and irreverent conversation each week on all subjects, all tied together around the latest week’s Archers episodes. They go off topic, but that adds to the listening pleasure and their rapport is heartfelt. Lucy’s round up of the week in Ambridge is always entertaining and am very much enjoying her disdain for Roifield’s obsession with maps – but glad he’s persevering. I also recommend checking out the podcasts they create independently of each other. Top class Brit chat!

    British to the core
This is a podcast about a show that I don't listen to. Even though 50% of the conversation goes over my head, the chemistry, sense of community and thorough Britishness of the presenters make this a fantastic listen. For any Anglophile I recommend you listen to this podcast, you might find some of it baffling but you will find a lot of it very entertaining.

This is fantastic podcast that provides the feeling of sitting in your kitchen with your friends, discussing the Archers for a full hour, if your friends both witty and thoughtful. Also, it has taught me about emergency puddings and biscuit history, which means it is educational as well. Give it a go.

Funny, insightful, informative and kind. It's as English as it gets. The rapport between the presenters is great - they seem to make everyone who listens into their friends. From tent-flaps to fondant fancies and back bedrooms, it is also a master class in the art of British innuendo. Keep it up you two!

    Fandom at its best
Dumteedum is more than a podcast, it's a fan community where it's a pleasure to participate. Having co-managed my own fan group for a number of years I deeply respect the skill, energy and both regular and emotional intelligence required.

When 15 minutes a day is not enough
You know you're an Archers fan when there are two many hours between 7:20 the previous evening and 7:05 the next. Dumteedum fills that space. A wonderful hour (or more) listening to two friends and their caller-inerers chatting about The Archers - brilliant!
