    I just discovered
Your podcast and I love it! Great host, who is clearly not phoning it in. I’m going back in time to pick out old ones I want to listen to and there are so many! Just wanted to say thanks for being light in the world!

    Weird Editing
The new intros cut the guest off mid sentence as if to make us hungry for the next word. All it does for me personally is annoy me. I’m already listening to the episode, I don’t need a Cliffhanger to sit through (let’s be real, skip through) the ads. Also, the interviews just start up with no introduction or background on the guest or topic. I feel like I’ve missed the first 20 minutes. Bring back the old editor. This isn’t cool or edgy, just weird.

    Bring back the old intro!
Love the podcast, but not loving the new intro

I am super disappointed you’re giving this woman a platform. She has a history of bullying online and making other moms feel like garbage.

    The Life Audit from 10/16/24
This is one of the worst podcasts I have listened to. The guest rambles on and on and says absolutely nothing. The host encourages more of her nothingness. On the positive side, I will NOT be buying her book because of her performance on the podcast.

Hard to keep up with the good and relevant content
Not sure why there’s so many sponsored commercial breaks. I was hoping to digest great content surrounding the nervous system, however that was hard to achieve since there are numerous 3-5 minute breaks just talking about paid ads :( I tried to be empathic and listen through the ads which resulted in a wasted car ride podcast play.

    Invisible Pain Episode
Thank you so much for your podcast and this episode in particular! I’ve been living with chronic invisible pain for years and I’ve always hesitated to let people know about it (especially employers) because I don’t want to seem like a complainer or like I’m trying to avoid tasks in life or work. But this episode validated my worries and helped me understand how to manage the pain psychologically and/or learn how to move through life a little more easily with the pain. This is one of the best podcasts out there in a crowded field of podcasts.

Got a lot of things correct but she was on the wrong side of history when it came to the plandemic she seems like a good person who wants to do good but when it comes to all medical protocols she blindly accepts the biggest corporations while complaining about all the others some day she will see the light.

A bore. Good content, but not groundbreaking
I find myself very bored when putting new episodes on, like I’m not learning anything I haven’t recently heard already. I’m letting this one go, sorry!

So many insightful and important conversations
I loved the Free Will is a Lie episode. So many aspects of that conversation I have believed intrinsically for years but this episode gave the words to express that belief. And such a different perspective than our part of the world believes.

    Best Podcast ever!!!
Such an uplifting and informative podcast. I feel calmer just for listening and I walk away with a new, more positive, perspective. I have learned so much about a variety of things I have incorporated into my life, and it has made me happier.

These are such important conversations !
If you want to see how real listening is done, then you can't miss this podcast. Excellent and enlightened guests -- you will always learn something.

Abrupt ad breaks detract from good content.
Far too many podcasters fail to respect their listeners with a simple cue that an ad break is about to happen. Please, Good Life podcast, add a cue prior to advertisements.

    Ads sooo disruptive !
Great guests & interviews, but ads throughout are so disruptive and disrespectful to your guests ! I’ll unfortunately pass listening to your podcast :(

    I Learned So Many Things!
This is a great podcast! So many topics that can support people in making amazing changes in their life. The episode with Dr. Speigel about hypnosis was very enlightening. This is a modality that is becoming more accessible to people and being able to help them.

    Please lighten up on advertising
I really love the show but get sidetracked with the copious advertising. More than any of any of my favorite shows. I know you have to make a living but can you just do them all up front?
  • Mich.leigh
    Way too many ads!
Way too many ads throughout the program. Made it not with the listen.

Great podcast, but too many commercials!!
I love this podcast, for the great discussions and thought-provoking topics. But the number of commercials is out of control. Almost half of each episode is commercials.

    Absolutely Not
You support Canada Goose as a sponsor? The company in favor of inhumane animal cruelty and torture? I was excited when I recently found your podcast. However, I can not support, listen or follow something with complete disregard for animal welfare.

Came across the Good Life podcast and am really enjoying it! Loved the episode with Ozan Varol about his book, Awaken Your Genius. This candid conversation about finding your genius was so illuminating with some amazing takeaways! Can’t wait to listen to more episodes! Thank you!

    My favorite
What a wonderful podcast. It may sound cheesy, but it has truly changed my life and I’m constantly recommending it to others. I pick and choose episodes that I feel relate to my life best, but they are all so powerful. Thank you for making this podcast!

    Hard to relate
Topics are important. This host is difficult to relate to. Comes off like your typical Boulder CO trust fund transplant.

    Wow, wow, wow!!
I am so determined to send this review and this is the third version since I accidentally lost the previous two!! Has my podcast playlist cycled through I seemingly came across this one by pure chance. After listening to it through completion I now see that it is as if it was sent by divine appointment and in the most timely manner. I will definitely be within the 1% who is jazzed from the onset of hearing the idea of taking the 12 hour walk. I’m so grateful for both the podcast host and author and creator of the forementioned concept & their willingness to pursue their passions as well share the sweet fruits of their pursuits. I will definitely be passing this on to most family, friends, as well as clients in my role as a counselor and mental health pro. Thanks again for putting this out there to bless others in the community at large. I look forward to being able to share the experience and outcome of my participation in the concept and challenge of the 12 hour walk. wishing you much love and an abundance of prosperity and passion in your pursuits! Thank you 🙏
I started listening to Jonathan and The Good Life Project when I was living in a small Chicago apartment 5 years ago (almost to the day). At that point in my life I was struggling with life numbing depression. But through filling myself up with inspiring content like this podcast I set a goal to lose 20lbs and to quit drinking. I accomplished that and today I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and it continues to get better. Not sure where I would be without listening to Jonathan and these inspiring interviews. Thank you 🙏

    Upbeat Podcast
The episodes are long but I appreciate the general positivity and the ability to deep dive into each guests story.
  • FlexyCharlie
Tried sooo hard to like this!
All I listen to is podcasts. And I listen to thousands. NPR, self help, and anything to do with uplifting ones life is what I have in the back round while I do just about everything. Well, I was very excited when I came across this podcast because there were over 600 episodes and I literally listen to podcast one all the way through all episodes and always look for ones with quite a few episodes as it’s usually an indication it MUST be good enough to keep pushing out content…. Right?!? Ummmm… I don’t know how he’s still doing it?!? I’m giving him 2 starts simply because he has SOOOOO many incredible people on his show! Everything about this podcast is amazing except… HIM! I’ve literally never in my ten million listens ever left a review, but I simply can’t help myself. Almost every question he asks, he’s asking because he wants to give HIS answers. I’m always confused as to who’s the guest because he has this weird way of always bringing everything around to be about himself or his own experience. He interrupts his guests so often that it’s actually uncomfortable. I’ve given it 15-20 episodes and I simply can’t do anymore. He’s mentioned he’s a personal trainer in almost every episode (like seriously, because you meditate and work out doesn’t mean you can’t be a duche) and I’m actually very heartbroken about not being about to listen to anymore due to the content he seems to have. So I guess if you’re a better person then I or you’re into the ‘I’m so perfectly Zen, I stare at my perfect meditation body while I meditate for exactly 23.62 min every day’, then this is for you. Otherwise, check out other amazing podcast like Happiness Lab. P.S. I’m sure you’re a great person, but maybe try active listening when doing your interviews and worry less about what you’re hoping to add to the story. You have great topics with incredible guests! I truly wish you well!
