This review is long overdue! There is no other podcast that has been as important and impactful to my business growth. Andrew is a fantastic interviewer who always gets the most helpful information from his guests. Instead of vague concepts, he really pushes for real numbers and specific strategies. The only thing left for you is to make sure you implement the strategies that resonate with you. But what really separates this podcast from so many others, is the community that comes with the premium membership and Andrew himself. I don’t know how he does it, but somehow Andrew finds time to respond in detail to any questions or requests for feedback in the fb group. And I don’t mean quick lines of encouragement, he gives real, thought through, helpful feedback. I’m consistently blown away. Definitely try out the premium version. So worth it!

This review is long overdue! I found Andrew’s podcast at the very beginning of my photography business journey. At that time it was only a tiny idea for me to pursue photography semi-professionally and in a non-traditional niche of photography (action photography, specifically cycling). I started listening to the show regularly and working my way through the giant backlog of episodes. Even though I was far from having a full fledged business and quite honestly had no clear idea what that business would be, I knew this podcast and all its incredible interviews had so much to offer for me. No matter the genre of photography, every interview has interesting and helpful information for anyone willing to take it. On top of the great podcast, Andrew himself is incredibly kind and very generous with his time. He is happy to help anyone find the best episodes that may interest them. As a newbie to everything (photography and business), it really means a lot that Andrew has taken the time to send thoughtful replies to my emails. This is obvious from his podcast, but I still want to say that he is clearly invested in seeing others succeed.

I’ve been a PhotoBizX premium member for several years now. every week, Andrew dives in deep and asks the questions of his guests that actually move the needle forward on my business. No fluff, just good solid information. With the recent changes to Facebook, I was having some challenges creating a Facebook ad, Andrew didn’t stop at just answering a few questions. He sent a quick video tutorial and even jumped on a quick Zoom call to help me with a few bits that were confusing me. There really isn’t a good reason not to follow this podcast. Andrew is engaging and asks good questions of his guests that lead to a wealth of great information in each episode. Each one has nuggets of wisdom to help a photographer grow, even - or perhaps especially - when it’s a different genre of photography. As a bonus, this show is well produced and Andrew has an easy voice to listen to. Some podcasts have good information, but the voices are like nails on a chalkboard…not this one! I can’t say enough good things about the PhotoBizX podcast. Give it a listen and then join the premium group. You’ll be glad you did!

Hi Andrew, I just want to thank you for your AMAZING podcast. As a photographer with many years under my belt (25 to be exact) and having pretty much specialized in commercial , food , editorial and now weddings and headshots , I’m blown away every time I listen . I’m currently on vacation with my family and they keep asking me what I’m listening too and fact is , I’ve been doing a marathon of podcasts I either haven’t heard or wanted to listen to again . I’ve had a successful photography business over the years but now realizing so many other things I can be doing better and not leave so much money on the table . I’ve been a premium member for a couple of years and I’ve noticed a jump in my sales by implementing several things but this year and committing to really re vamping my business using some new ideas through liaising to several business coach podcasts as well as photographers talks . I have been a PhotoBizX Premium Member for a couple of years. The PhotoBizX library is a thorough and diverse resource. With every new step I take in my buisness, I turn to the PhotoBizX catalog first for specific reasearch. I also love listening in every week, especially when I am editing.

I discovered this podcast last year, and within the first half of the first episode I knew it I would subscribe. Every week solid content and terrific interviews. Andrew asks all the questions - all of the ones that most interviewers skim through that you are wondering yourself. The back catalog is amazing - and the community that is growing around the fb group is supportive and growth minded. I love that he thinks outside the box and pulls in guests from all areas of the world and different perspectives.

Andrew's podcast is a must-listen for me. Every week, as I'm editing photographs, I'll usually visit his site, sign into the Premium section and settle in for a good 40 minutes or so. For the last three years or slightly more, I've been informed and inspired by Andrew and his guests. I love the questions Andrew asks because those are the ones I would ask on my own show and I love the conversational style. Most other podcasts feel forces, stodgy or even scripted. Not Andrews. You don't get the sense of the passage of time when listening to this podcast. It's a welcome reprieve. If you are attempting to shy away from the noise and you are looking for pure signal, you've just found it. Turn up your speakers and lean in to listen and learn.

This podcast has quickly risen to my favorite because I'm in need of help with my photography business. I've been wanting to give up since I've moved to a small northern town in Michigan, but these informative shows full of successful entrepreneurs have inspired me. I've never been good at the business side of things, but feel I do have vision and creativity that should provide income. I just haven't been able to get there yet. I'm hoping with more learning and implementing of strategies I hear on these episodes, I'll be able to start getting the inquiries I've longed for and producing the product clients want. I just to let you know of my recent successes with my new portrait photography business from listening to this podcast and hiring a coach. I moved into a new studio two months ago, had a record $3,000 plus sale, booked 5 portrait sessions today, My portrait sales average was $300 and now the average is around $1,470 this month. and I am doing 15 sessions a month. Soon to be 20-30 sessions a month with all year round income. Goal next year is $20,00 a month. Like many of you, I like to listen to podcast as I work. I’ve listened to a ton of them. I discovered this one over a year ago and went back through the archives and listened to every single podcast that relates to family portraits! I’ve been in business for awhile now and keep getting surprised by how much I learn. Andrew asks great questions and is able to pull out juicy nuggets of pure gold from each person he interviews! It doesn't matter what your speciality is, theres A LOT of stuff to be had here. As a premium member, I have been listening to all things marketing from Andrew's guests and every single podcast inspires me to do more. Some other pocasts sound like they have been recorded in a tin can bouncing down the road, but not these. They are clear, well recorded, and a joy to listen to. I'm listening a lot in the car as I drive, an excellent use of what's most often wasted time. Spend the money for a monthly membership, and take your business to the next level and beyond.

By far my favorite photo business podcast! Andrew finds the best folks (he would say "mates") to interview. And then he asks the questions I want to hear the answers to. Subjects range from dog portraits to SEO tactics. I find myself listening to interviews that have no direct relationship to the kind of photography I do, just because they're so fun to listen to. Even before I was a Premium member, I was a regular listener. Now that I'm a Premium member, I get so much more. Not just the best parts of the interview that are set aside for Premimum members, but also a FB group where Andrew, interview subjects and other members help each other.

I stumbled across PhotoBizX about a month agoo, and immedlately did the trial. During that time, I was so impressed, that I called my fellow photographer friend Hector and told him about it, and we both ended up joining the year long membership! It has truly changed my business. I like to listen while I drive, and I have to now keep a pencil and paper in my car b/c I get so many ideas from every podcast I have listeed to! I even contacted Kylie Garner after hearing her podcast about marketing, signed up with her, and am already seeing positive results. PhootoBizX has truly changed my business! I will keep recommending it to all my photographer friends, and I now look forwad to getting in the car so I can listen to PhotoBizX!

I have listened openly to many different podcasts and Photo Biz X blows them all away. I have learned and implemented so much from this podcast. The way the interviewer delves into each interview is incredible. He extracts the most important bits of information to provide the listener with clear and actual information they can immediately implement into their business. And that is just the free version! I was skeptical at first but now that I’ve gone through every episode at the edge of my seat with each one, I am convinced that the paid version is going to be well worth it.

Have always admired Andrew's piercing questions to get to the bottom of a business persons process and mind. Love the nitty gritty details he discusses that is often overlooked in man other shows. Appriciate learning the basics that helps me continue to grow in my photogrpahy business.

I found PhotoBizX by accident one day while browsing photography business podcasts on my iPhone. This podcast is absolutely wonderful! I’ve started having to pace myself because, while this is the perfect compliment to some binge-editing, there is so much great insight that I find myself having to jot down notes, make new browser bookmarks, and set reminders for myself to look further into topics later ... so that I don’t break stride in editing. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve immensely enjoyed hearing stories from photographers I admire. After I listened to the last couple month’s worth of episodes I went back to start from the beginning which still has plenty of valuable content. Please keep it up!

From you and from your kind guests, I have learned so much about who I am; what I want to stand by and how I'd like to grow. I listened all the time. You could have done five shows per week and I would have heard them all. My wife still recognizes your voice. Two years ago, I changed my career path a ton. I asked my boss to let me drop half of my duties at my real job, a Pop music radio station. They supported me. Since then the two jobs have each represented 50% of both my time and income. Fast forward to this past holiday season I couldn't fight my dreams anymore. I took the leap. My radio company accepted my resignation. I stayed on for six more months. It was a very nice transition to the radio station's new host. Last Friday was my final show. I'm writing this on Monday morning. I got a couple more hours of sleep. Then I leisurely straightened up dishes, took out the trash, chose an album to listen to and made a cup of coffee. After I finish typing this, I'm settling in to edit 20 photos that a client ordered last night. My kids are 20 feet away in their pajamas. I know this isn't going to be easy, but I am ready to hustle. My work looks good and I have solid direction for the Photo Biz thanks in large part to your fantastic podcast. You are making a huge difference for photographers on Planet Earth. Thank you.

Andy is absolutely fantastic! His interviews are best I have ever listened to. Why? He knows how to make the most of it! All his questions are really well-thought and interesting. Some of them are tricky ones and the speaker should be creative to answer them. Andy suggests different situations and problems you can face during work so it is really useful to listen to a solution. All the interviews are long enough to develop a theme and clarify details. It is very comfortable to listen to them. All aspects of photographing are described in his podcasts. Thank you a lot for really concrete and helpful information!
