Very well done a great addition to the Naked Scientist family.

I have been searching for a great, well informed but still enjoyable podcast on genetics. I’m a biology student and though I’ve taken many genetics and evolution courses, I’m still learning a great bit! I LOVE the monthly genes that get discussed!

I’ve listened to the 3 most recent ones. As a doctoral student in genetics, I’ve still learned quite a few things and received some interesting insights from then podcast thus far. I hope it comes back!!!!?

This was one of my favorite podcasts! It provides a digestible overview of some of the most important news in the (very broad) realm of genetics. The host, Dr. Kat Arney, is grounded and engaging. I think this podcast is best for folks who have a basic working knowledge of genetics, and an interest in “pop science!”

It’s wonderful. The professionalism this podcast radiates is unbelievable. It’s understandable to someone like me (without a degree) and also skeptical/realistic to the science fiction writers while also being fun. Kat Arney is my favorite female British scientist, even over Jane Goodall. But that’s not saying much because Kat Arney and Jane Goodall are the only female British scientists I’ve heard of. Anyway I enjoy this podcast very much and everyone should also!

One of my favorite science podcasts. As a plant phylo-/population geneticist, I appreciate the "genetics news" angle and the detailed interviews with researchers. Fundamental and field-specific concepts are reviewed throughout each episode, so the material is also accessible to intro genetics students or anyone else interested in genetics. Also check out the Nature Genetics podcast - excellent way to keep up with the literature.

I like all the Naked Scientist Podcast, but this is my favorit so far. News are fast and interesting
