    Great place to learn!
I don’t know anything about poker, so I come here to try to learn. You always make it sound fun! Here’s a review for the robots so they know I’m a fan! Thanks Clayton! -Elizabeth Walker

    The Best on Poker
I've listened to several episodes of the other 'popular' podcasts, only a couple even come close to the hosting and content of TPE's and Clayton Fletcher. They've got the right mix of hosting a poker podcast: long-time 'poker world' participant and spectator, interviewer and entertainer. I like a little general landscape and meta discussion sometimes but most of the others do that too much, using it as their own soapbox and therapy session. Clayton has the right mix of theory, humor, and commentary - keep it up!

    Best tournament poker podcast!
Clayton makes learning strategy accessible. Many other podcasts on the subject were over my head, assuming the listener is already very experienced in GTO strategy, but Clayton takes you through hands in layman’s terms. So glad I found this podcast!

    TPE simply the nuts!
As I’ve gotten into poker podcasts more and more lately, I’ve come to one conclusion. Most are run by guys who might mean well, know a few things about poker, or are connected to the industry in some way professionally. Few however are truly entertaining. The TPE podcast is informative, fun, funny, clean and enjoyable each episode. Above everything it is entertaining. From Clayton’s recall of trips he’s taken, personal hand histories or the anecdotal stories he shares, this would be enough for this listener. It is the anchor content of the show, the recapping of hands from previous wsop main events that set the TPE pod apart from the rest. It is meaningful content. TPE podcasts delivers every time because Clayton works hard to make it happen. Keep it up Clayton. Thank you very much.

    Best hand breakdowns around
This show is part of my staple rotation. Very much enjoy Clayton’s hand analysis, but also love his self-effacing commentary and his full throttle reminders that we can’t be afraid to GET IT IN. Keep it up!

    New sponsor for TPE
Always liked the show and even supported as a member in the past. Not happy to see the new sponsorship from ACR, a site that has had such a checkered reputation. Wish you guys had faded them.

I used to listen to a lot of poker podcasts; this the only one I still listen to on a regular basis.

    MY FAVORITE POKER PODCAST
This is the ONE poker podcast I never miss. Clayton Fletcher does a great job in reviewing hands from poker tournaments. He constantly reminds the listener as to the hand involved and the cards on the board. Most of these hands are ones that he has played and he gives an honest look back at the hands…..win or lose! Keep it going!

    Fun Podcast
With the recent switchover to Clayton Fletcher as the presenter, this podcast improved and took its place amongst the top ones I listen to. Clayton as a career comedian has a very clear and unique style of narration that makes him enjoyable to listen to as well as educating. From a poker standpoint, there are many strategy segments, and the standouts to me are his discussions with Andrew Brokos. Keep up the good work! Update Feb 2020: It's time to drop the intro "song". The gravelly, growly non-melodic bro-ish junk just has to go. It's gotten to the point that I am skipping forward every time just to avoid it. Ho-ho-o-ho-ho-ho-o-ho gone!!

    Valuable and Entertaining
I started trying to take poker seriously about a year ago and I’ve listened to the podcast during the time since. Each week I enjoy listening to Clayton’s entertaining commentary, and the strategy segments have really helped me improve my mindset at the poker table. Great podcast!

    Great stuff!!
Love the strategy but also the interviews, great to listen to how people identified their leaks and what the did to improve! Definitely has improved my game! Clayton does a great job, great balance between the poker information and keeping it fun!

    Good Quick Strategy
The reviews of actual hands give a good perspective for the exact situation. Clayton allows for alternative moves with a thought for each moves. He does simply dismiss an alternative if he doesn’t approve. It’s also refreshing to hear some of his results aren’t winners.

    Great content
Clayton has a great radio voice and brings the humor to a somewhat dry topic of poker strategy. I enjoy listening to his anecdotes about poker and his approach to playing. Although I tend to disagree with how he plays some of his hands, I do appreciate how he recaps the hands as he discusses them and shares his thinking process. It’s the only podcast I look forward to each week and enjoy it on my drive to work on Fridays. Keep up the excellent work Clayton!

My game has improved as result of Clayton’s hand analysis. I also enjoy when the psychology of poker is examined. As a donk who only plays tournaments, this podcast has become a weekly must listen.

    Spectacular.
I really enjoy the content on this podcast. Clayton is very insightful and has an aggressive style of playing. The podcast is funny and keeps me up with poker news, but stays on track with good strategy in many tournament situations. The hand analysis is in-depth and accurate, I would definitely recommend this podcast to someone who’s wanting to learn the thinking side of poker.

    So solid
Poker podcasts put me to sleep usually — just easy enough to miss the key to the hand under discussion as the host or hosts steamroll on blah blah. Also, why would I try to learn from a chronic equivocator? “You could do this but this would also be good in this situation as would any of an infinite number of options.” This guy is clear from the start and loops back to remind you where the hand is at. He doesn’t pretend he’s always right, but he tells you what he did or would have done without endless hand-wringing. And the non-strategy conversation is right and to the point — none of the filler many podcasts rely upon. Good stuff.

    Good stuff
I listen to a number of poker podcasts and this one is a goodie. A nice mix of current events and strategy.

    Funny guy
Good poker analysis from a mid-level tournament grinder. Good production values. And Clayton has a wry, self-deprecating sense of humor. Funny guys are always smart, but not vice versa.

    They turn the corner!!!
Wow, awesome. I subscribed to this show since it’s inception and have always enjoyed it. Was disappointed when the show was airing infrequently, and so, I stopped subscribing. When the recent pandemic hit I decided to revisit, and was so excited to see one of my favorite characters was now hosting. Clayton is a Great storyteller, down to earth persona and has excelled knowledge for the game and most important, a passion and love for tournament poker that seems to never falter. What he is doing for the poker community is truly amazing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!!

    The best poker podcast
I’ve been listening to poker podcasts for 15 years. The addition of Clayton to the podcast as a host has raised this show to my number one every week. Intellectual, but accessible to recreational players or pros. The analysis is a master class in poker each week. A must for all poker players.

TPE / Fletcher are worth your time
Clayton Fletcher has a passion for tournament play that shines through in this entertaining podcast. He reviews interesting hands that get me in the correct mind frame to play and his periodic guests add significant value. Clayton does not claim to be the world’s best player (which I view as a positive) but he has accomplished deep runs in the WSOP Main Event and his hand discussions are something I look forward to each week.

Great strategy reviews and just hands
It’s so nice to mostly avoid poker dramas and gossip and just get a good lesson every week. Clayton does just enough of his own story that you can follow and root for him but the focus is on breaking down hands and tournament strategy. Thanks for providing it.

Good Hand Reviews and Tournament Poker Strategy
I had a general goal to improve my poker game in 2017. I have been stuck as a 20% player and needed to get up in the 10% or better range to cash consistently. This podcast along with other poker resources has helped me succeed in my goal. I appreciate the discussion and hand review in each podcast. The group shows a love of the game and enjoys the time with good humor among the moderators. Thank you for the help, and I look forward to more podcasts this year.

    Amazing podcast
I've never written a review before, but about a month after subscribing I realized I had already gone through almost all their episodes. Reaaally good hand analysis and strategy talk, definitely the best poker podcast I've found.

    Excellent Free Strategy
I have listened to this show since it's inception. The show freely discusses tournament poker strategy with nothing held back. If you play tournaments, this is a must listen podcast.

    Look Forward to Each Episode
Great strategy segments abound! Hosts have great chemistry with each other and the guests. The choice of "Oceans" for the musical interlude in the March episode was sublime.
