    Love this!
I just discovered this and absolutely love it. I just went through and re watched many of the late 90’s and early 2000’s DCOMs so this is awesome. Will and Sabrina are so good together. Can’t wait to listen to many more.

    Fun!
    The childhood nostalgia I needed!

    Back to My Childhood
I was so excited when I heard Will was hosting another podcast-I have loved listening to him on his Pod Meets World podcast too! I grew up watching DCOMs so I have absolutely loved getting to watch all them back and relive my childhood. It’s been interesting to go back and watch them as an adult. Some of the ones I remember loving as a kid, I didn’t like much as an adult. While others have 100% withstood the test of time and are just as good as I remember! I don’t always agree with Will and Sabrina on their ratings, but I do feel they give each movie a fair chance. Some of these movies are hard to get through. Since Will didn’t grow up watching DCOMs I can see how he’s a little more critical since he doesn’t have the nostalgia many of us do as we watch. But he’s done a good job and has even liked many musicals more than expected! I have also been very impressed with the guests they’ve brought on. They’ve done a phenomenal job finding many well known actors (like Corbin Bleu, Riley Smith and Jason Dolley), and not just brought on lesser known ones. It’s been so fun to hear what each actor is up to now and get behind the scenes stories from the movies I grew up loving!

    I finally caught up
After about a month or so, I have finally caught up and listen to every single episode minus the introduction. I skipped all of my sports podcast to catch up and listen because I had just found a podcast and I instantly loved it. This is the only podcast I’ve listened to for the last month to make sure I was all caught up. I’m very appreciative. i’m also in the media space and would love to work with you guys one day. Disappointing
My whole childhood revolved around the Magical World of Disney and Disney Channel / Zoog Disney movie nights. The movies, though not all as remarkable as I remember as a child, still hold a special place in my heart. Therefore I was thrilled when Will and Sabrina announced this podcast. I don’t have enough time to try and rewatch all the movies I remember from childhood so I was excited to have this podcast to revisit them through my daily work commute. Though the hosts have gotten slightly better than they were in the beginning, I’m continually disappointed by their negativity regarding the movies. They are always knocking the cgi and progressiveness of the movies (product of their time). They often say they can’t connect or relate. HELLO - these movies were made for children and not middle age adults. They “try” to imagine what they would have felt if they were children… it’s not working. Most of these movies were an escape for me as a child. They were supposed to be fun, and occasionally teach us about parts of the world and types of people we had never met. As adults, Will and Sabrina are too critical, biased, and expect too much from these movies. They can’t observe and experience these movies with the eyes of a child anymore. The ads are beyond ridiculous. I understand they are trying to receive an income for the work they do (I understand and agree). However, five minutes of ads, nearly every ten minutes, is ridiculous. Yes, there’s a fast forward button, but if you’re wearing ear buds or not near your phone, it’s highly disruptive every time you have to stop and fast forward. I’ve never known another podcast to have so many and so long of ads. And finally, the straw that broke the camel’s back: I can’t believe they would feature Kyle Massey on the podcast. It’s clear that it’s hard for them to get regular interviews with folk from the movies they review. But, I’m absolutely shocked and disgusted that they would associate with someone who was charged with interacting inappropriately with a minor. The actor claims it’s false but I have yet to see a judge clear him of any wrongdoing. This podcast has become nothing but a cash grab. I don’t know what’s lower: the content or the integrity of the hosts / producers.

    Disappointed
I used to respect this podcast and Will and Sabrina as hosts, but now I’ve found out they’ll be platforming Kyle Massey in next Monday’s episode. Just a few years ago, Kyle was charged with sending explicit images to a 13 year old girl. I would expect Will especially to take the allegations seriously considering his own history and regret of defending Brian Peck, but apparently not. Everyone involved in the making of this podcast is trash. You have permanently lost a listener.

    Hmm
Love the fact that we get to hear about the golden age of Disney original movies. But the only downside is always labelling it. Kinda like the boy meets world pod yes it was a different time and era. But we don’t reminding how to gender progressive it was or how politically correct every second of everything has to be. Do you forget we were just kids and teens and enjoyed it for what it was?? We weren’t worried about who was the main character boy or girl- we wanted a good story and you can see it stood the test of time cause we are still talking about it and y’all are making money off it. So it ain’t all bad just enjoy it.

Fun, nostalgic and easy to listen to!
I usually listen to true crime podcasts. Sometimes those get too heavy and I am so happy I have Magical Rewind available for me to go to! I love reliving the movie with them while they go through it. I often find myself watching the movie after. DCOM ones were such a safe space for me to go to as a child! Love that I get that happy feeling listening to the podcast! Plus Will and Sabrina are fun and funny!

    Can’t Get Enough
Love this podcast! The hosts, just like the movies they review, are straight from my childhood. It’s just the hit of D-Com movies I’ve been looking for and I laugh out loud at their antics and commentary. Some of my favorite episodes so far were The Tower of Terror and Susie Q. Really looking forward to the spooky season and I hope they do the OG UnderWraps (1997). I’d be interested in what their take is on it. Keep up the great work Sabrina and Will! You’ve made a lifetime listener out of this gal! -Heather

The Podcast I’ve Been Waiting For!!
My favorite cheetah girl and my favorite boy meets world character recapping movies that defined my childhood?!?!?!?! Could not be better! Listening to this podcast is like a warm hug. It’s full of joy and fun!! Highly recommend if DCOMs are your thing!

So enjoyable but egregious number of commercials
This is with out a doubt a podcast the with most commercials I’ve ever experienced . Sooo many commercial breaks and each one spanning 4-5 minutes. I 100% always want everyone working on the podcast to have earnings from their work but it’s truly obnoxious and unprecedented how saturated each episode is with commercials.
  • Michaelscott2024
I love this podcast! Would recommend
Will and Sabrina are laugh out loud in your car by yourself funny. The pod’s movie review and interview episodes are both equally enjoyable listens, Can’t recommend enough
  • Ian D Wagner
    5 minute commercials?
Amazing show! This brings joy to my millennial heart! However, what’s up with these 5 minute commercials? I mean that literally, I’ve kept track of a couple. Each episode has like 3 5 minute breaks. It’s such a pain when I’m trying to listen and do dishes, I can’t fast forward with wet hands. Less commercials 😝

    Keep up the great work

    It’s magical!
This podcast is so much fun to listen to. If you grew up watching DCOMs you’ll love it. My only critique is the length of the ads. Why are they so long?

    Stu Krieger’s book
LOVE this podcast, you guys always have the best insights and I love the park hopper episodes where we get the bts stuff. After I listened to your Stu Krieger episode I bought the book he mentioned that he wrote, One Last Cigarette and I HIGHLY recommend it, it was so good!!

    You Lucky Dog
Excellent review of a very weird movie. You mentioned Howie Mandel and completely missed his dog movie! Not Disney, I don’t think, but if you haven’t seen Walk Like a Man- you NEED TO. So bad it’s…well, good is strong, but it must be watched. Thanks for the nostalgia!
  • whoop!93
    Fun!
I always have fun listening to Will. I ❤️ Sabrina too 😊 AND the way Will describes how he thought Lemonade Mouth got their name is literally how I always remember it! Every time I watch this movie I’m surprised that’s not how they got the name. How does this happen!? Anyways.. great pod! Thanks for making me smile!
  • TheMayb
    Needs one more voice
I thoroughly enjoy this podcast and I’ve enjoyed watching the movies every week. Will and Sabrina are very enjoyable to listen to. The only real critique I have is I think they need another voice. Someone to play devils advocate to will and Sabrina who frequently have parallel thoughts. I always enjoy when Jenson pops in with a counterpoint. I just think there needs to be more of that.
  • 90sDCOMkid
    LOVE THIS PODCAST!
As a kid who grew up in the 90’s I loved DCOM’s. Some other good ones you guys should review are… Susie Q Life Size HE Double Hockey Sticks Don’t Look Under the Bed Can’t wait for next weeks episode!

    Always makes me laugh!
I love this podcast. I went through almost all of the DCOMs when Disney + came out and I had already seen most of them on the channel. I love getting to hear Sabrina and Will’s thoughts on the movies. I laugh along with every episode. Thanks for doing this podcast!

Stop releasing these on Pod Meets World
Love Pod Meets World, but have no interest in this podcast. No big deal, I didn’t subscribe. Yet for 20 weeks at the time of writing my feed is still filled with something I’m not interested in. Stop releasing these to people who didn’t subscribe. I can appreciate using your current podcast to launch a new one, but it’s been 5 months and it’s starting to feel never ending like spam email. Is it its own podcast or not? I’ll gladly change my rating after this stops.
  • KassNasty
    Sooo many ads
I love this pod and dcoms. I love will and sabrina. BUT multiple 7 min long at breaks is so much. I am an avid podcast listener and I can’t think of pods beside this one and pod meets world that have SO many freaking ads.
  • Ceedus Lepedus
    5 stars for the future
I loved DCOM’s growing up and love PMW and the relationship Will has with his cohosts on that podcast. I was sooo excited to see the combo of Will + DCOM’s, however, there’s a lack of chemistry with Sabrina. It seems like this podcast is a chore to the hosts and that makes me less enthused as a listener. I listen every week as I am hopeful they’ll hit their groove and it’ll be wonderful soon! Don’t forget these were films made for children.
  • KaeleeMullaney
    I like it!
I think this podcast is really fun! I love hearing them talk about the movies and watching along with them. It's not a play by play of the movie scenes - it's more of an overview and then a conversation about it which I enjoy.
  • JimmyD
Ok… we get it… Will hates musicals
He repeats it a dozen times. Don’t review a musical. It’s not fair to the film. It seems that Will it trying so hard to make everything that comes out of his mouth comedy gold… it gets tiresome. The podcast started out fun. Sabrina genuinely wants to enjoy the movies. Will can’t wait to tear them down. These are made for TV Disney movies. Not important, intellectual films. They are fun.
  • Gliiiiiitttttt
    Not for me
I tried this pod, didn’t like it very much and thus unsubscribe. BUT I still have the episodes in my feed from Pod Meets World. This is annoying, please stop. Any audience from PMW is already here after months of the episodes being forced on PWM listeners. I gave you a three because I don’t listen and it wasn’t bad when I did listen, just not for me.
  • Lilah Brook
    Disney legends
Love noticing how much fun these two seem to have as they rewatch movies and learn more about each other as people. They’re two Disney legends, and I enjoy gaining their perspectives on movies I’ve either grown up with or have never even heard of! Keep being iconic 🫶🏼
  • hanz_slick_rick
    Quality
Really high quality podcast. Love the format! I feel like it would be cool for them to do more than just DCOMs. I need to hear Will breakdown Airborne.
  • Formerfan9864
    Will supported child abuse
At 27 years old Will defended a 42 year old for sexually assaulting a 15 year old. He claims he was manipulated because the 42 year old said he was temptedd. What kind of messed up person would ever think it’s okay that a 42 year old can sleep with a 15year old no matter how “tempted” they were. Years later Will then worked with the abused person, Drake Bell years later and never apologized to him. Will is a terrible person. Please do not support him. ….also this podcast is pretty boring
  • Kamm86
    Fuzzbucket
You guys obviously didn’t pay attention on this one. Fuzzbucket turned invisible because he was out past midnight, and he was rushing home during the day because he couldn’t be out past midnight again or he would turn invisible forever. I will admit, this movie was terrible, but you guys missed a lot. Also, the other fuzzbucki was named Stinky I’m pretty sure, not Steve. I don’t blame you for zoning out on this one.
  • the purple card man
    Not his best
I love all things Will Friedle but this just isn’t his best endeavor. Firstly, they barely recap the movies or discuss the plot, secondly, they are hyper critical of all these movies which takes away my enjoyment. I was the targeted demographic for DCOM’s so I know I have some nostalgic glasses on but these movies were made for kids and widely loved by families in the 90’s early 2000’s. They don’t need to treat these movies like they’re running for best picture
  • Bdan32
    Good but…
Good pod but you gotta figure out why the episodes don’t download right on Apple. They keep downloading and undownloading and it’s frustrating. Please fix. UPDATE 3/17 The problem is fixed and I can officially give my my five star approval. Being on HSM!

    Nostalgic Show!
I am usually not the type to write reviews. However, I love this show! I have been raving about it with my friends and family. It’s been great rewatching these movies now with my goddaughter who has never seen most of these movies before. As a Disney/Dcom lover this has been great!! I love Will, so I will support anything he does, such a fun and nostalgic pod ❤️
  • cranyon1992r
    Love the concept!
I really enjoy this podcast and love their chemistry and different takes on the movies. I would love if they went over the plots in more details. Usually they only say one or two sentences but most of us haven’t seen these movies in 20 years! Doesn’t need to be a play-by-play (even though I LOVE that on pod meets world) but I think more details on the scenes/plot/overview of the movie would make this a 5-star podcast.
  • PoisonCandi
    Fun!
More will Friedle … umm. Yes !!! This re watch is fun! I thought I’d seen every Disney movie and so far I’ve only seen a few of these so it’s been fun to watch for the first time ! My date with the presidents daughter was my fav we owned it on VHS

    Nostalgia Overload!
Sabrina and Will are such an iconic Disney duo. I’ve been loving the deep dives into each DCOM movie from my childhood! One of my favorite movies that I would love an episode on is “Horse Sense”. Some other ones that I’m excited for, and hope they review are, “Zenon”, “Motocrossed”, and “Smart House”. Love love love!
  • saeraaa
    Needs better organization
I love Will and Sabrina together. They have great personalities and chemistry- obviously. I love the idea of this podcast and unlike critical reviews I appreciate the backstories and little anecdotes they share, as it makes it fun to listen. Things however that I’m NOT crazy about/need adjusting: the theme song and other sound effects used- pretty crummy and seem like an afterthought; how their segments seem to change week to week; not a fan of the “Sabrina sees” segment and that song is awful; I don’t like how they skip segments, ie “add a mawry” hasn’t been mentioned since second episode and even though it seemed random I found it fun. This podcast needs better structure, ie PMW, so the recaps flow better and is more enjoyable to listen and allows you to revisit an old favorite movie you forgot about. Hope this helps.
  • Feliciagonza
    My new favorite
For everyone saying “they don’t explain the plot” it’s a nostalgic podcast, its meant for a lot of us who grew up watching these and have the movies imprinted in our brains! I love everything about this podcast, they do a great job getting all points across and I appreciate them doing the best they can, also the special guests are a extra treat, it’s so cool getting behind the scenes information! Keep it up both of you!
  • BYS98
    Excellent
My only hope for this show is that they bring on Ryan Merriman to talk all things Smart House. It was a favorite of mine growing up, in fact- all the DCOMS were. (Give or take a few of them.) So, I guess I’m lucky that this exists because it gives me a chance to revisit all the old favorites. As well as revisit a time where Disney Channel wasn’t taken over by High School Musical. Which, I can see why audiences were blown away by it being the watershed that caused the company to make more! Happy to get on board the DCOM train once again.
  • msamaha1
    Depends what you're looking for
Your enjoyment of this podcast is bad on what you're looking for. If you actually why to hear discussion about the movie itself, this is not the place. A lot of personal stories relatively related to the movies and random observation of the movie. Almost no plot discussion. No idea what happens in Cheetah Girls, Descendants, or Johnny Tsunami
  • dwilliamson517
    Great Listen
Thank you so much for doing this show! It’s a fun listen and a revisit to my childhood. Keep up the great work.
  • TheMikePalmer
    Not very good
You need to have watched these for this show to make sense. They don’t discuss the plot or give a coherent recap of the movies. They just seem to pick random things/parts to discuss and don’t even seem to do it in any cohesive way.
  • Kristen Keene
    10/10!
I started listening to this podcast with the “cheetah Girls” episode, where will and Sabrina talk about all things cheetah Girls!!! I also love how it is so nostalgic for me, since I’m a 2000s Disney Kid through and through!! I am IN LOVE with this podcast!!
  • JessieLynne87
    Nostalgic Trip!
I have always loved Will and could honestly listen to him read a phone book! That voice!! Am i right?! But man i didn’t realize how much I’d love venturing back into all those old DCOMs that i loved so much and still do! ❤️
