Really like this show overall. Good sound design, engaging narration, and most importantly, super original/good storylines and concepts. Also, to the people that are complaining about having “the same voice actor for every character”: This podcast is basically short stories being read like an audiobook would be. It’s clearly not meant to be an “audio drama”, but rather just short story literature, read-aloud. That much is clear. But that’s not where my 3 star review is coming from. My main ding here is because a number of the stories felt… unfinished. The way the stories were wrapped up often made them feel incomplete, especially assassins dream. I liked part one and two, but it felt like the story was ended really abruptly. It left me wondering if there was supposed to be a part three. One or two of the earlier stories left me feeling that way too. Like the whole story was engaging but the end was unsatisfying. Leaving things “up to the listeners imagination” is, in my humble and singular opinion, kinda… lazy writing. And it hurts to say that because the stories are beautifully written. But when a narrative doesn’t have a decisive end, it’s hard to fall in love and come back for more. Despite that, it’s a good show overall, just maybe not a great one.

Voice actor needs to be different for narrator. Great story ideas. Bad execution

I listened to one called Assassin’s Dream and when I went back to listen to the others, they were gone. Now this one dropped with no word of when to expect more. I am a QCODE+ subscriber and am out of new fiction episodes to listen to, so I don’t see a reason to continue to pay if we aren’t getting new content regularly.

Fox News ads are unacceptable.

Production is pretty awesome but I can’t be the only person who finds a handful of the voice actors indistinguishable. For an audio format this super irksome.
