Solved Murders: True Crime Mysteries

To commemorate our fourth anniversary, Parcast and the team behind Unsolved Murders are taking a closer look at what it takes to catch a killer. In the new series Solved Murders: True Crime Mysteries, you'll follow the clues and uncover the missing pieces to some of history's most gripping cases. Every Wednesday, join Carter and Wenndy as they explore the days, months, and even years leading up to a killer being caught. Each episode plays out like a classic murder mystery—where the final reveal is nearly as shocking as the murder itself. Solved Murders: True Crime Mysteries is a Spotify Original.

    So bad it’s good
The stories are good but the acting is terrible. In fact, I think that’s why I keep listening. It’s so ridiculous that I weirdly enjoy it.

Not a true crime show as much as woke lecturing
I came to listen to true crime, not being lectured on unfair sentencing for blacks vs whites. I’m not denying that exists, but I’m here to listen to TRUE CRIME darn it

    Awesome
I’ve binged all episodes multiple times. It’s great for a background noise while doing laundry, cooking, etc. Great go-to for a show. So sad it ended. 😞

    New Fav Crime Podcast
This is now my new favorite crime podcast. So satisfying to know how it ends! Now if they’d only do an episode on the Glensheen Murders in Duluth MN…!

    Terrible voices
While the narrators & cases where well done & interesting I could only give this podcast 3 stars because the voices used for the people involved in the cases were way over the top, overly dramatic, & very cartoonish in nature-something you might find in a movie in the 1920’s from a very bad actor being overly dramatic. I’ve listened to hundreds of podcasts & never heard voices that goofy or annoying. What a shame because it ruined an otherwise great podcast. I hope if this company puts out another series they will hire professional actors with normal voices to do the voices of the people involved in the case

    Flawed
Here’s the deal, you can not narrate true crime like a children’s book. While the narrator(s) voice is actual good for narration, the sing song way it’s delivered is horrible. This podcast has good production, story lines and overall quality BUT the tone turned me off, and I tried several episodes to give it a chance but it just doesn’t work. The producer or brain behind that idea needs to find another genre instead of jumping on the true crime bandwagon and messing a good podcast with potential. Do better.

    Extreme Left Bias
Listening to “Martha Borthwick Cheney” episodes we are supposed to feel sympathy and understanding for a person who savagely killed 7 individuals because the killer was black.

    Sarah is Aweful
On the Kristin Smart épisode the guest, Sarah, has the whiniest voice ever!

    Can't Listen
Great production, except it's another podcast that has some kind of music--often high pitched--running constantly in the background. I don't know why this is done. No one would think of putting two pictures on a screen and blurring them together. If a person is a really good listener, it's like trying to listen to two things at one time. I can't be the only one shutting these podcasts off after giving them a try.

    New chosen staple
I LOVE chilling podcasts to fall asleep to. Before the podcast even started their sponsor is for food for shelter pets in need which have helped over 1 million pets in need. They graciously start the podcast with identifying the victims as sex workers who are disenfranchised targets for violent crimes in society. I love I love I love! Very rarely is this acknowledged, and they immediately pay respect to the victims. I will listen to this every night. Thank you for this show and the reverence for the victims. **update** this episode just touched on white flight, I’m crying!! I’ve never felt so touched. Thank you for this thank you!!
