Is this a terrible listen

The podcast is pretty good besides a few of the guests that I’ll end up not finishing. However, there are more adds/commercials on this 30-40 minutes podcast than on most 1-2 hour podcasts. Todays episode with pauly shore was 37 minutes long with 7 minutes of ads sprinkled throughout. If you’re going to milk the ad revenue could you at least make the episodes longer? Also maybe some more menu questions to add more variety?

Really like this show but Rick was brutal.

I want to like this podcast, but Lauren’s voice and laugh are super annoying. Her guests makes the podcast bearable and the only reason I listen. Her constant dumbing down of herself is not attractive. We all know you lost your virginity at Disney, now put some clothes on and bring something to the table.

I worked with a tramp that had this same voice, but the fact that Lauren has brains, looks, and she’s funny too….. awesome. If she was in to middle aged broke whit dudes we could have a future

I’m a mommy for life and I can’t stand listening to her. Literally every other podcast they have is awesome but hers in unbearable. She’s just not funny.

This podcast is pretty good and funny! The episodes should be an hour instead of 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes. I like to listen to podcasts for a while.

Mark made me laugh about the whole podcast!

But her voice. Like nails on a chalkboard while someone is shoving needles that have been dipped in acid in your ears while staring at a photo of Bert naked. It’s just so bad.

It’s still early on, but I’m loving the show. My one complaint is that I wish it were longer. 30 minutes goes by too quickly. So far, great guests and some good questions. Good luck Lauren! Can’t wait to see how this continues! Welcome to the YMH family!!

Really enjoying this show. The format is new to me, and I love the insight and perspective. Feels more personal without being intrusive or weird. Also loving to flirty (for lack of a better term) nature at times.

Not sure if the structure was made based on her interviewing chops, but the lack of follow up questions is bizarre. If ymh did this to harness the female demographic, why not use Chase or another solid female comic? The content isn’t terrible, hoping it improves!

Lauren is a great, unique additional voice to the YMH podcast world. The best podcasts these days are those with a specific targeted conversation topic vs. a rambling “let’s just talk” kind of show. Interesting idea, Lauren is the perfect host for it and I hope to watch it grow.

I find it rather brazen that Lauren calls her self a comedian. Host yes, comedian no! I don’t think looks will get you very far, even in a fraudulent attempt at a comedy career. I think this is just an attempt to get as many views as possible for YMH Studios. Basically a money grab. I guess when you get totally view driven you lose sight of what got you here. Being genuinely funny and relatable. She seems extremely fake. Bad move IMO. From a comedy perspective anyway.

I have followed Lauren ‘s career for many years. I am so grateful that she started this podcast. It’s such an entertaining topic Lauren has such energy and passion. She is able to get great responses from her guests. It makes for a very entertaining podcast I highly recommend it.

I’m not a podcast kinda guy and only have a cougar that I honestly find enjoyable to listen to…well now I have 3 I’ve always liked Lauren’s sense of humor cuz it’s genuine and not obnoxious plus her laugh doesn’t make my ears bleed so it’s a win win haha
