As a fan of the “New Canon” podcast, I was sad to see it go. When Alex, Jesse, and Davis started the “Old Canon” podcast I was really happy to see them come back. Fun, fascinating, and entertaining to listen to as a Star Wars fan. I love it when they go on tangents or start riffing off of each other like when they had that bit about “caf” and coffee. Funny stuff! Keep up the amazing work guys!

The podcast is very interesting, however, one of the hosts overuses the word “like.” I get that it’s an American habit, but it’s annoying and distracts from the main content.

Like, where do I like start? I like love the idea of like an old canon show. Like, it’s truly like the best period of Star Wars. It’s like so fun revisiting these old stories, but like for the love of god, enough with like the “LIKE” filler words. Like, you can like only listen to this show for like 10 minutes at time. Like, like it’s really bad.

I listened to their new canon podcast years ago. I was sad when they randomly stopped doing it without notice. I was really into Disney Star Wars back then but have fallen off hard. Glad to see the boys return to the stuff I have massive nostalgia blinders for! Love having another podcast to listen to.

This made my day to see these guys back doing a Star Wars podcast!

First off this is a 5 star podcast based solely on quality of episodes. That said their upload schedule does not match what was promised on their patreon. Listen, have a blast, but treat a new episode like a nice surprise rather than something to look forward to.

Glad to see the boys back but come on to completely abandon the new canon. Just because one of your hosts is a toxic star wars fan? Whatever

Are they reading the same books I’ve read? They just ramble on, and laugh at each other’s jokes. Maybe I’m getting old, but they’re exhausting. Was looking forward to this, very disappointing. Rather watch Matt Wilkins. He gives you more in 8 minutes that these guys do in an hour plus.

I really like the idea of this podcast, and these guys seem to know their stuff well. Not a big fan of all the cursing, only because they aren’t good at cursing. I would suggest they either get better at it, or drop it altogether.

THEY'RE BACK! I am so excited the boys are back at it with this new Star Wars podcast, diving deep into the old canon lore that people still rave about to this day even though most of them haven't really look at any of it since the 90s. This podcast really takes me back to my earliest experiences with Star Wars and the days of playground whispers of things like how Darth Vader became that way because he fell in a volcano long before the prequels were released. It’s great to put the nostalgia glasses back on and take a look back at the wacky times now forgotten or even unknown to many fans today.

Thankful you guys are back and talking Star Wars again. I’m confident enough to say this is the perfect podcast to digest the good ol’ old canon stories we loved before and the will appreciate again. Only these 3 good people knows what’s up.

I have been a huge fan of this group thanks to their old podcast, Star Wars New Canon Book Club, the best place to find discussions on the new Star Wars Expanded Universe. They often bemoaned the new canon vs the old so I’m so glad they are back to talk about Star Wars Legends. These guys love Star Wars but not blindly so if that is what you are looking for, you came to the right place. Can wait to go on this journey with them!

Been waited forever for these 3 to come back. Now we all get to gorge on their beautiful voices talking about a franchise that sadly is so decisive these days. Lucky these boys will be going with old canon and hopefully we will be graced with a pinch of new canon every now and than. 10/10 highly recommend them.

I am so happy you guys are going back into old canon! I’ll be honest, gave new canon time to get good, but the best it’s ever come up can be slotted back into legends with some headcanon fixing. I prefer the thousands of years of Expanded Universe to a still mostly barebones Disney canon. Going to enjoy the ride through memory lane with you guys (and Wookiepedia).

We are so back. Big SWNCBC fan but I was too young while most of old canon was coming out so my knowledge of pre-Disney lore is limited to what little I have read. So this should be a good time.
