    I started having severe postpartum panic attacks. This podcast, in addition to Drew’s book, helped me more than therapy and psychiatry. They are hilarious, intelligent, and practical, but most importantly—they have lived through it! Josh and Drew’s compassion and genuine care for the community is incredible. Recovery is 100% possible, and life is good again!

    This show is amazing. These guys really really get it and I am feeling so hopeful for my future living a life doing whatever I want to do without letting anxiety control me. This is the podcast you need if you have panic attacks disrupting your life. I was having a bad DPDR episode yesterday while cooking and put on this podcast and when the episode was over I felt normal. The show is funny, educational, and everything I need right now.     Nail on the head when talking about feeling bad after the greek salad and had symptoms vs eating a pizza with friends felt great. Was the healthy eating a form of trying to avoid the symptoms vs not caring. Doing it anyway! Do health for the health reasons not the avoidance reasons. Great episode

    This is a fantastic show. They have such a wide variety of topics that all center around anxiety. They really helped me to look at my own anxiety in a different way. It doesn’t have to be dread and doom. Others are experiencing the same things I am and I feel less alone.

    Not to exaggerate, but this podcast has been genuinely life changing. The shift in perspective I’ve had since I started listening has improved my life greatly. I tear up a lot listening to it because I feel so seen. To know I’m not alone in ANY of what I have been feeling, even the stuff I thought for sure could only be me, is greatly comforting. I feel a sense of community with people I’ve never met. The hosts are wonderful. So knowledgeable, relatable and warm. If you’re suffering from anxiety PLEASE give this a listen.

    Putting a Fun Spin on Anxiety
    I really love this podcast because they put an entertaining spin on something that is so hard and challenging for so many of us. I also think its easy for someone who has never experienced what we are going through to sit there and tell us what we need to do based on what they have learned in school or in a book but to have two guys who have been through the fire and come out on the other side that makes such a big difference. It gives us all hope and also makes me take their advice more seriously.

  • Upset with the outcome sorta
    finally somewhere i feel both motivated and comforted
    Drew and Josh, I am someone who has searched for the cure to anxiety for years. I was diagnosed with every anxiety disorder at 6 years old and was told I would just “grow out of it,” which obviously was not the case. It wasn’t until my anxiety and panic turned into 24/7 DPDR and complete physical symptoms (functional neurological disorder) that I truly understood what it does to the body. I have felt, and sometimes still feel, hopeless and shameful and so so angry with the mind and body I have been given. But hearing you both say time and time again that I am not broken, that uncomfortableness is NOT dangerous, and that my body is doing what it is evolutionarily meant to do, has given me so much comfort. I still have all of my symptoms, FND being the worst of the byproducts, BUT, I know I am not alone. Thank you both for doing thing weekly. You save lives with your episodes.

    Hey Josh and Drew, I love your Podcast. Educational but also entertaining. I live with anxiety, depression and OCD. I am 74 years old and am getting a bit “crotchety” (notice the play on words). So when Josh confused perineal for parietal I couldn’t stop laughing. I think laughter is one of the best therapies for mental health disorders. Carry on guys! Ken Spokane, WA

    I love therapy for many reasons and don’t want to write therapists off- however I have personally struggled to find someone in my area who was able to help me with panic disorder. I have made more progress in engaging with life by listening and practicing with Josh and Drew than I did with the 5 therapists I tried over the past 4 years. So thankful for these guys.

    I’ve been a follower of each of these guys for a while, they are both amazing on their own. But combined? Best podcast I have heard about all things anxiety and panic disorder. They are relatable, but blunt, and if nothing else make you feel less alone. Which can be everything to people like me with agoraphobia. If you are suffering with GAD, panic, OCD and anything in between, give them a listen. You won’t regret it.

    Josh and Drew (see the order, guys!) have given me so much useful, compassionate, expert perspective as I navigate elements of my own disordered anxiety. From psycho-education, to helpful strategies (“do what non-anxious you would do”), critical re-frames (“I’m having an adrenaline rush”), to the encouraging “did it anyway” stories from other listeners, this podcast makes me feel more empowered and less alone.

    I’m am so grateful for this podcast. It absolutely changed the way I see my anxiety and panic attacks. I thought “getting better” looked like having no more anxiety but being able to get such great advice I now see it as a wonderful tool my body has. And I am actually grateful for even though it doesn’t feel the best at times. I have been more willing to step into the fear. I have been suffering for 13 years. And I’m hoping that this year will be my year of change. Wonderful podcast I can’t thank these guys enough.

    Misses the mark
    It’s a light humored podcast & can be helpful for those with a season of panic or anxiety, but I think neither gentleman understands generalized anxiety (GAD). There’s isn’t anything to relearn when it’s a life long sentence and there’s no place to hide from it. Everything has given you anxiety from childhood to adulthood. It’s a tough road, but take heart you’re not alone. The more you recognize it & manage it (meds, therapy or loving family, etc) you can still find periods of remission, joy & contentment.

    Always thought it was my personal fear. I’ve learned that I am not unique and finally feel hopeful. Anxiety began in grade 2 and peaked at age 40. At 60, now, after learning, studying and helpful podcast. I’m feeling better and know that good feelings will return after anxiety and fear. These podcasters really know what my life has been like, which helps me feel less alone. This podcast helped me feel brave enough to go to the dentist.

The way that they break down what’s happening in your mind and body and why it’s not dangerous even though everything else is telling us that it is, is really helpful!
