It did point me to first class!

I started to listen to this podcast after it has already been aired for a while, at that time, I just started to get into this game, and was shocked to realize how much I had been missing, and how many things I had been doing wrong, I had made all the beginner mistakes, plus a few more. By now I have caught up with all the 100 plus episodes, and I think I’m finally entitled to write a reasonable review. I learned a lot of basic skills, and some advanced techniques, and was able to apply them to book a trip to Asia, in premium economy to there and lie flat first class on my way back. I wish someone had taught me these 10 if not 20 years ago, how much I could have saved and how much more I would have enjoyed my trips. Thank you Devon!

This is my favorite podcast. I love starting my week on Monday mornings with this. Devon has given me the tools to travel that I would not have been able to do with a family of 5 (and all with my normal, every day expenses!). She presents things in such a clear, concise, and engaging manner.

This podcast is so empowering. My family had tried to figure out how to take meaningful vacations and balance all the everyday expenses that we have. Quality perspective for points and miles world

This podcast is one of my absolute favorite for this hobby. Devon does a phenomenal job with explaining the small nuances that come with learning the hobby and also helping you get small wins as you continue to learn. I truly appreciate her take on expansion of points and Miles world related to medical professionals and things for entrepreneurs that aren’t as actively shared on other podcasts. Her guest speakers are always helpful in giving extra pearls as well. Podcast is very easy to listen to as it is conversational yet extremely informative.

I learned about your show after hearing you on the White Coat Investor Podcast. This is such a great resource. Dr. Gimbel delivers the information a clear and easy to understand way. I like her common sense, no nonsense approach. I can’t believe I wasted all these points opportunities over the past 30 years. I used to think it was nearly impossible for my family of six to go on big trips. Now it seems like a distinct possibility with some help from Dr. Gimbel.

This is my favorite travel podcast. Devon is smart and straight to the point. She explains things the way that I need them explained. I especially like the episodes about math, year end reviews, and what’s in your wallet. Please keep the information faucet open and flowing, I cannot get enough when it comes to travel points.

Great Points and Miles Podcast

While I am not a medical professional, I started listening to this podcast about a year ago and have not missed an episode since. Devon explains things clearly and I continue to learn a great deal. She converted me into a Miles & More believer and I booked flights to Japan with the PointSisters for later in 2025 because of her episode with Devan from the PointSisters. Highly recommend to anyone interested in the points and miles hobby!

This Podcast Has Me Hooked

I’ve never been a podcast listener…until this one! I eagerly await every week’s new episode. Devin has a wonderfully inclusive banter and is always so positive and articulate. I enjoy the “tips and tricks” episodes quite a bit more than the travel location-specific ones. And would love some more detailed tips on the redemption side in the future. I also enjoy Devon’s realistic expectations of kids and the perspective she brings as a mother to travel. Five stars, for sure!

She also zags when every other podcast zigs - I remember hearing on her podcast first about earning points for home purchases (nobody else was talking about it at the time). I’m a mental health professional and I find this podcast so refreshing and helpful. Most of the time, the points community is geared towards people who can plan travel with a lot of schedule flexibility, but that’s not the case in my dual-healthcare worker relationship. Helped Me Start My Journey

I have always wanted to use points to travel. I had many fears about my credit score, what were good subs, and which cards were the best. Devon’s intro webinar and this podcast have helped me overcome all my fears. Not Just For Those Who Fly First Class

I heard Devon on another podcast and liked her soothing voice and wisdom but figured her podcast wasn’t for me since it has “first class” in the title and I knew she was a doctor. Boy, was I wrong! Turns out she has points and miles knowledge for the rest of us too that I’ve learned a ton from, binging on her show while taking long walks on the beach this winter. She’s inspired me to dig a little deeper into paying for things with credit cards that I didn’t even know I could do like utility bills through PayPal bill pay, figuring out exactly which card I need to use to get the most points for each purchase (I even made a spreadsheet for this), leveraging dreaded estimated taxes and my yearly tax bill to the full by using credit cards and more. Listen to a few episodes yourself and you’ll soon be hooked. It’s a highlight of my Mondays. Thank you so much, Devon!
