    Question for Jeff
My family has been watching Suvivor since the beginning. Love how it has evolved. We have Survivor parties and even roasted coconut over a fire. We wondered if Jeff stays in Fiji for the whole season or flies home for breaks? Keep the shows coming!

A must for any Survivor fan.
Such a good Podcast! As a huge Survivor fan from day one I appreciate the insight of what goes into producing my favorite show. When the show is over every Wednesday I am so glad to have this podcast to listen to to continue my survivor experience. I have learned so much from this podcast. Keep up the good work!

    So much wiser
I have been a survivor watcher from the beginning. I’m not known as a strategist. I’ve always been amazed at how the players figure things out. This podcast has made me a much wiser viewer. Every time an episode ends I regret that it’s over. that regret is temporarily relieved while I listen to the podcast. Then the regret comes back when the podcast is over! But the regret is worth it. Thanks so much for all your insights from the three different perspectives. Looking forward to so many more years of survivor!

    Love the insights
I look forward to the new episode of survivor every week and now I also look forward to the On Fire podcast. I love to hear the behind the scenes insights - about logistics, challenges, and how producers tell the story. One of the best things about survivor is that it gives positive vibes and it was great to hear Jeff confirm that it’s intentional!

    You complete me
I now don’t feel I’ve finished watching the actual Survivor episode until I’ve listened to the partner pod episode. It’s sooo fascinating to hear why the game has evolved the way it has, the philosophy behind the approach to the whole game as well as challenge design, and I love hearing from a past player to answer questions about the past season that I forgot I even had! You can’t ever stop making these as long as Survivor exists- which is hopefully forever. Thank you!

    Can’t wait to hear!
I’ve been watching Survivor since episode 1. It’s been a Wednesday night staple in my life forever. I was so excited for this podcast. I’ve learned so much over the last 4 seasons about the behind the scenes. Last night while watching this episode, I thought “I can’t wait to hear what Jeff, Rachel, and Jay have to say about this episode! Well done and keep ‘em coming!!

    Essential for any fan!!
Hi onfire crew 😊My lineup for the survivor is watch, listen to this podcast and on to rhap . Thanks for putting this podcast together and would you ever consider interviewing some of the other players after each season ends?

    Great Show!
I started watching survivor around season 44, and I’m hooked! There’s no other show out there like it, it’s just so *real*. I’m autistic so seeing Eva struggle, but shine is just so beautiful for me. I kept hearing about the podcast, but started listening in during 47, and I’m hooked! It’s the perfect companion to the episodes, especially hearing a little bit more of Rachel’s insight as a player. Overall great podcast, even better show. Here’s my actual rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    More Jeff, Jay, Rachel!
I love hearing their takes on everything Survivor. I’ve become a big fan of the show and this podcast! Neither ever gets old…keep them coming!

    No wonder
No wonder survivor has captivated me for years. Jeff Probst’s passion for the show is so evident and infectious in this amazing podcast. Listen and catch the fever.

    Survivor Fan for Life
As a longtime Survivor superfan, On Fire is everything I didn’t know I needed. The behind-the-scenes insight is unmatched — I find myself in awe (and honestly a little envious) of the Survivor family. I’m a PE teacher and coach, and like Jeff, I often say I have the greatest job in the world. I relate so much to Mitch this season — I train little challenge beasts every day! My students love competing in balance challenges and listen to me talk about Survivor all of the time. At times, my professional world feels like Tribal — high teacher turnover has me feeling like Stephenie from Palau… the last woman standing. This podcast keeps me inspired both personally and professionally. The way you highlight the show and the incredible crew behind it is something special. If you read this on air, please keep me anonymous — I don’t want to get voted off my island! Thanks for keeping the torch lit.

    It’s a must listen!
If you are a Survivor watcher, this is a MUST LISTEN! I find that questions my wife and I ask each other during the show are often answered in the podcast. So insightful and interesting!

    Survivor. Probst. Enough said.
After watching since season one, I’m so thankful I get more. And I love Rachel.

    Love this podcast!
This is the perfect addition to the perfect show. Plain and simple.

    SURVIVOR SEASON 48!!
I am SO HAPPY that the new season is out!! This is my absolute favorite show and family tradition in the world! Even for people like me, a minor, this podcast is super helpful and an awesome insight into the best show in the world! It has always been my dream to join Jeff in the islands of Fiji!! Question, how come we stopped having visits from family? That used to be my favorite part of the entire season! Great show guys! Excited for season 50!!! (I’ve already voted for what that season will consist of!) - FutureSurvivorPlayer123

1 1/2 hours. Thank you Survivor!
I have always hated when a Survivor episode ended. Still do. But having the extra half hour feels more satisfying and I’m thrilled . Kudos to the amazing Survivor team and all of the players!

    Love it, but…
I can’t express how much this has heightened my Survivor fandom. Been watching since episode 1, and have been with the podcast since the beginning. It has grown to be better over the first few seasons, but maybe a step back this year. You need to cut back on the sound bites from the show, and talk more. I feel like too much time is now used up on the clips.

    Eva and Joe
This episode hit me and my wife really hard. So my son has autism as well and he’s 11. I look over at my wife as we are watching and she’s bawling, it meant so much to us because to see her struggling was very hard for us. We just wanted to jump through the TV and hug her! To see the amount of actual care, Joe had for her was amazing. This episode gave me hope that when my son is older, he can have the cognitive ability to calm himself down, but there will be moments where we all need help at times. We instantly both knew the struggles that she was going through and what her parents have gone through Man I was struggling watching it because like I said before I just wanted to jump through the TV and hug her and be able to calm her down. Thank you for letting the world see this! I’ve told my wife that I want to apply one day and I will!

    So Good
After finding this podcast, I finally understand why my husband watches post-game shows. I look forward to this podcast as much as I look forward to watching Survivor. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to geek out a little longer every week.

    Covid Survivor Faithful
I can’t say I am a super fan, but I am an aspiring Survivor Cast Member (just have to apply) and I love the insight that this podcast gives. It makes me think differently about the game is really pushing me even more to actually pull the trigger and apply. I knew of survivor from the first season, and even watched some of it those early years, but never really became a fan and watched until covid. We have been watching faithfully as a family ever since. I have seen most of the seasons and I have loved watching the evolution of the game. If you are a Survivor fan and want to dig deeper into what happens off screen, this is an amazing podcast to listen to.

    A MUST for Survivor Fans
You know that feeling, like “where have you been all my life?” That’s how I feel about the On Fire Podcast (or ‘Probst-cast’?)! It’s full of amazing insights about the current season and the show overall. I’m a Survivor superfan (and wannabe player). I love the triangle approach (producer, fan, player viewpoints). It feels like you’re having a cup of hot chocolate with Jeff, Jay and an iconic player. Listen to it today!!

    Love this!
I have never missed an episode of Survivor! Been listening to your podcast for a year or two now and it has been a wonderful to your show! Love to hear the differing point of view from all three individual individuals, especially the most recent player, which gives incredible insight. I have actually gone back to watch a show over based on what you guys talked about. Keep up the good work love your show!

    Critical information
I have been a survivor fan since season 1. I am now nearing 70 years young! I wish I could be a participant, but I compete through the survivors every season. This podcast is one of the BEST ! I listen every week and love the backstories this provides me. I then FaceTime my bestie and we critique the most recent episode. Thank you for all of your insights! Jeff, you are the best host ever and I love your humor when fans hassle you!

    People Matter
My son and I have been watching together since the beginning . As a hopeful future player last weeks episode is why I love this game . I am a people person and it’s the social aspect of this game that drives me to keep applying. Keep up the great production because it’s not just a game it’s peoples story and story can change the world.

    Back from a long break
I watched this show with my then young kids for several years at the beginning of its run and then fell out for a long time. My daughter (now a young adult) got me back into it and your podcast a few seasons ago and I am loving every minute of it. I’m a big fan of BTS podcasts and this is one of the best. The format, the hosts and the peaks behind the curtain and though process from everyone’s different perspectives really add to the weekly enjoyment of each survivor episode.

    Fan since Day 1
I’ve watched every episode of every season going back to the beginning, and always wanted to be a contestant but never felt I had the time. Now, at 72, I’m probably past my time but this podcast makes me feel more like I’m actually participating. Enjoy it immensely!!

    Still Disappointed
I love Jeff and Jay’s insight. I don’t like Sarah‘s opinions. She talks with the high vocabulary and most blue-collar workers don’t understand that. She needs to come down to earth.
  • Sha_Matt
Can you go back in time?
I have been watching Survivor since the 1st episode. Love the show and now love the podcast. All the behind the scenes info has been amazing. How much design and editing goes into it is crazy. I want the Podcast to go back in time and do an episode for every season! That would be awesome. What do you think Jeff?
  • Always-K
Great Pairing for a Great Show!
Thank you for creating the On Fire podcast to further enhance the Survivor experience. I love tuning in each week for additional information and behind the scenes insights.

    On Fire
We have been watching Survivor since season 1. I love how this podcast gives us so much insight on what goes on behind the scenes. It’s a testament to what an amazing show it is that Jeff is still enthusiastic to not only still do it but talk about it on the podcast. Getting the three perspectives is the chef’s kiss! I only wish we had it from the beginning.

    How the Sausage is Made
For the casual observers who assume Survivor is another cheesy reality show, this podcast proves how complex and intentional the game design is! Wow, so many details to prove this is no simple game show. I have enjoyed learning so much about how the sausage is made in Survivor. Keep up the great work, Jeff, Jay, and Rachel!
  • JNWells
Makes watching the show even better!
Just discovered this brilliant podcast, and I can’t wait to listen each week. There are so many interesting details I’ve never even thought about, such as music, game design, the boat fleet and more. And Rachel brings so much first hand info from her player perspective. Thanks to all three for an entertaining discussion!
  • Christine from Poestenkill
    Love this
I absolutely love this podcast. I wish it was longer. I’ve been watching survivor for a long time and thoroughly enjoy that I get the extension of the show with this podcast. Keep up the great work.

    High end emotional
My whole family has watched every season of Survivor. With that being said we all become emotional bc of Eva’s story. She taught every single fan, that autism/mental challenges are not “dirty “ words. We are all different with different challenges and we ALL need to be loved and not scared to show our true selves. And. Cliff is so brave to be a great teacher! Teaching us fans how to be patient and to ask questions re his sudder. Wow! What a season. I need to grab a tissue now! Thank you for this season!!
