Higgy5000Power Advocate for the Sport!Dominic has become a steward of the sport and advocate for doing things the right way. His topics and guests are examples of the best people in this game. His age is irrelevant except for the fact that he has already become a leader and will impact for the positive for years to come. Follow this podcast!

phdmom9Go-to podcastI’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple of years. I have learned so much from each of Dom’s guests. I am parent of a HS and MS runner and it’s great to be able to keep up with the lingo and learn how to support them in their individual journeys. I’ve loved when he talks to coaches and goes outside the traditional athlete talks to discuss sports psychology, nutrition and sleep. The Running Effect is doing a wonderful service to our running community!

amycakes5560This podcast helps me on the grindThis podcast has been something to help motivate me to get on the grind, and try to be the best underdog I can be. I love learning about runners who experienced many different things on their journeys and it’s so inspiring learning how I can become better even if I’m struggling and injured right now. Love this!

joquandaleWHey Dominic I was hoping you could get Marcelo Mantecon on the pod he is a sophomore and has run, I think 14:40 in the 5k and 8:51 in the 3200 and 4:11 in the mile! And he also placed 15 at NXN! So hope you could get him on.

JWEditsGreatest podcast of all time??This is the best podcast I have ever listened to! I had never listened to podcasts before but this one got me hooked. Dominic does an amazing job at keeping the conversation flowing and has so many amazing questions that keep the podcast interesting and engaging. He also gets on many relevant and insightful guests. If you haven’t given this podcast a listen you’re missing out.

Mark FairleyI’m a Podcast guy nowI love what Dominic is doing with this Podcast! He brings in amazing guests and does a great job interviewing them. I feel like I’m sitting right there with them fully engaged in the conversation. After each episode my notepad is typically full with great nuggets of wisdom regarding running training and coaching! I have recommended this show to so many fellow runners and coaches and I couldn’t recommend it enough to you as well! Check it out and give it a listen!

fkejwkxjDominic always deliverswas wanting to hear if he had done an interview with hobbs kessler… search it up, and he posted one 5hrs before 😂 love the podcast! keep crushing it man! God bless 👊
-
coachgaryInterviewI very much enjoy your interviews. You do a great job of letting people answer at length to genuinely explain their answers. Robert Gary Furman University. Highbanks as an answer makes Elliot Cook one of my favorite athletes now!
-
Jonathan Grimm23Drew and camI loved the last episode! Only one thing was that Simeon ran 3:37 not 3:39. I only know that because I went back and watched the old episodes lol

Ethan KnemeyerInspirationalI listen to this podcast when I’m studying, walking to class, running, etc. Very interesting questions asked, really well structured, and entertaining. This podcast influenced me to love this sport to a level I never thought I would’ve before. Dominic is also very mature and respectful as well. Five stars without any hesitation. Would highly recommend.

Sam_WiseXCThis is awesomeRunning out of things to listen to while running and then I found this! Keep it up! I also like the religious commentary and how religion relates to running and the rest of our lives.

Dalton_478Active with interviews, but also religionI listened to this podcasts much of 2023 and into 2024. most of the content is interesting and I like the interview style and the fact that he actively gets relevant runners to talk about the sport. The only real negative that finally got me to stop listening is that he consistently uses religious phrasing mixed into the commentary. Its fine to have religious beliefs, but they don’t belong in a running podcast.
-
The goat Mateo CoolsoonVery informative and helpfulAs a high school runner who is obsessed with running m and rarely has someone to talk about the subject as passionately as I do, it’s very nice to see or hear a show where I can indulging the stories, advice, and training of athletes who I look up to and admire.
-

Fears06InspirationalAs a high school runner, hearing the words of some of the people who are at a level I hope to be at, both in high school and at the collegiate level, really inspires me and Dominic creating this is honestly so impactful for me.

Sh1510Excellent Interview Skills!Listened for the first time to a podcast of Dominic interviewing a former student from the high school where I teach (and one of my favorite people of all time,) Austen Dalquist. As an English teacher, I was impressed with Dominic’s insightful questioning and even more important—his high level listening skills! Consider me a fan!

jtdonnerTHE BEST RUNNING PODCASTThis podcast is revolutionary. It’s the ONLY one of its kind, created by an 18-year-old with incredible maturity. As a former (decent) high school XC runner, now recreational runner and father of a very good female high school XC runner, I can barely articulate how great this podcast is. I wish we had something like this in the early 1990s. The ability to hear professional and top NCAA runners like Elise Cranny and Parker Valby talk about their training, mindset, and experiences — and to be able to share this with my daughter — is invaluable. I cannot thank Dom enough for choosing this path. This podcast can be a reason a good-but-not-great high school runner can decide to not give up and eventually run at the college level. Even an old guy like me gets some personal inspiration for my own old guy running. So great to see running given respect and hear interviews with the top athletes. Keep crushing it, Dom!!!!!!!

384839373More women!!Good podcast, very insightful convos every time but the lack of representation in women’s running is very frustrating. Women’s sports are gaining more and more popularity and people want to hear women’s storylines! If the podcast wants to just showcase men’s stories then advertise it as such. Every week I see there’s another random high school boy on the podcast (who are all exceptionally talented runners and provide great insight), but would love it if there were more women.
-
rms342Solid Podcast, But Lacks Female RepresentationI’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast, and think Dominic does a great job with the interviews, but the lack of female guests is a bit frustrating. It’s perfectly fine if this is a male-focused podcast (there are plenty of female-focused podcasts out there), but please market it as such so people aren’t disappointed week after week when there is yet another male guest.
-
Begin the workLet’s goooo!Project 2:59 has been fantastic! Love the coach/athlete convos between you two!! Very cool & best of luck!

Tap atopOn the moneyVery insightful info from genuine ppl in the trenches. The conversations give great advice on both the physical and mental aspects of running while encouraging you to live a well-balanced life. Great motivation and advice for both beginner and advanced runners with respect to being consistent, taking recovery days seriously and not overdoing it.
-
MB4005 star guests!!This podcast is killing it with guests I don’t see on other running podcasts. And appreciate the insightful convo about life & running. Excited to listen to NCAA steeplechase champ Olivia Markezich, go Irish 🍀

Jerry ShoemakerSolid!Great pod! Great guests and interesting convos
-
yogagal1993goldmineBringing some of the top athletes and coaches onto the podcast to hear their experiences and wisdom is really a cool way to connect the running community. This podcast is great because it allows those being interviewing to really share their experiences, the podcast also continues to improve which I think shows growth- and that is something we all aim for. Basically listen to this podcast if you want to learn and be a better runner, coach, or just human. 11/10.
