I quit my full-time corporate job two months ago to pursue my photography full-time, FINALLY after four years. I’m only on my second episode, but I’m enjoying it a lot! I’m really in a space where I need to learn as much as possible and grow my business!

I started listening to your podcast last year searching for anything with photography. I’ve been into photography since 7th grade & got my first 35mm in 11th grade. I have been a photographer for several years and got back into it in 2017 as a family portrait photographer, some weddings and events. I listen to your podcast at my job & it makes my day. It took me a while, but I’m finally all caught up. I don’t know if this is the place to add this, but I was wondering if you will ever be doing a segment on dealing with customers who don’t read their contract, especially when it comes to taking photos while you’re taking them. I’ve been dealing with a lot of customers who take cell phone photos while I am & by the time the kids get to me they’re done with photos. Or uncles taking them and they’re all looking the other way. Thank you, Nathan.

I’ve been listening to Nathan’s podcast for a few months and he finally got my review haha not because the information wasn’t good but because by now the value provided has been exceptional. I’m a portrait photographer and I enjoy listening to those who are running successful businesses but not everyone can teach and motivate. You can tell Nathan does both. I love the podcast you did called comparison is the thief of joy Nathan! Such a helpful perspective is something I and many others really needed to hear! You are always so uplifting, honest and thoughtful which makes this a must listen for me. Your advice is applicable and easy to understand. I listened to an episode on posing on the way to a shoot and it helped so much!

As someone who has been shooting since I was a kid (borrowing my parents point and shoot), and trying to transform my passion and love of photography into a business, I can confidently say Nathan has guided me to where I am today. When I say guided, I mean like holding my hand and breaking down information like it’s Chinese and I’m in Pre-K, okay? He KNOWS how to teach and this podcast is my holy grail for my small buis. I don’t listen to many business type podcast because I just either find them way too detailed and boring or super silly and unhelpful. But this one is right on. Nathan is great at getting right to the point and thinking about things on a deeper level- not just the same tips over and over. I love anything mindset related that he discusses. Really great! Don’t switch to interviews only because I hate those podcasts- lol!

I love how much value this podcast provides to me as I walk through different phases of my business. For a free resources this podcast really knocks it out of the park. I also love that this is from a Christian entrepreneur in our industry! I have learned so much in such a short amount of time from listening and not only that but I have overcome mental blocks and fixed my point of view in areas that I didn’t even know needed fixing.

I am so glad I found this podcast! Nathan answers so many questions in the most in depth and helpful ways. Breaks down things that truly matter and help make your business, yourself, and your walk better! Extremely grateful for this podcast!

I’ve been doing photography for years but have never had the opportunity to shoot but events and is now dropping 9k this weeks in my photography business and is ready to hit the ground running. Yes it’s a huge step to spend this much… but I know that this has been a long time coming to invest into my photography career along with great podcasts like this. I’ve never considered myself much of a podcast person but let me tell ya, when I came across Passion with Purpose I was instantly HOOKED. I’m a newborn & family photographer so not even in the wedding genre, but the amount of business knowledge I’ve gained from listening to this is insane. I think I’ve binged all but 20 or so of the episodes and am dreading the day that I’m all caught up 😂 The energy and value is worth every minute of listening! Highly recommend for any entrepreneurs out there. 10/10.

I listened to the episode on is it wrong for Christian entrepreneurs to seek money and it was SO good! It was so insightful and I really appreciate Nate’s humble approach to sharing his thoughts and experiences to tackle this controversial topic. I’ve struggled a lot with money mindsets and this episode really helped me to see that even though I can have mixed motives about making money, doesn’t mean I should fear or reject it all together but that I can trust God will guide me and help me through navigating temptation as I seek to honor him and following his professional calling for me. I have struggled with money and the narrative I picked up as a child for a while and I am on a mission to heal that inner narrative and I can say with full confidence this podcast has healed parts of me that I didn’t realize needed healing.
