Zohar is amazing. A very stimulating podcast for anyone who wants to build their intellectual chops

    Amazing
Zohar is a great interviewer. Maybe the next Russ Roberts or Tyler Cowen. He’s that good!

What a cool collection of thinkers, artists and profound folk
Love these wide ranging explorations with deep thinkers…they engender insight, a bit of enticing rebellion and definitely delight. Zohar’s guidance of the conversation leaves us with hope even in this tangled, revelatory, cruel, gorgeous, modern world.

Excellent - I wish all my convos were like this
I’m so enjoying this podcast! I notice how perfectly you match your style with whomever your interviewing. When it’s Tyler Cowin, it’s a series of discrete questions, similar to how he interviews. With Heti, Hitz, and Feldman, the dialogic rhythm flows in accordance with their tempo. Well done, sir!

    Discover with Zohar
One of the most thoughtful podcasts I’ve come across. Zohar has something special here on multiple levels. His interview style changes with the guests he has on. He learns both with and from his guests and pushes them to interesting and sometimes unexpected places. And he does this all while delving into complex and rich topics. Hopefully this is just the start of a long and productive conversation.

    More in-depth than Rogan
You can REALLY feel the guest and the host listening to each other, and responding intelligently during the entire course of their conversation. Truly in-the-moment, unlike the PLANNED agreeing and CANNED enthusiasm you get in other “intellectual podcasts” Other podcasters (it often seems) try to dazzle you intellectually, placating you and making you feel like “you now know everything!” …when of course you don’t! …but this podcast makes you feel both like you understand quite clearly, but even more so, that you NOW want/need to go deeper and learn more. My rule: If it makes me pick up a book after the audio is up, i say “well-done” And it’s a fantastic quality, it really is. Honestly, I had to locate my Talmud to look up some of the wonderful references that were being employed so artfully, and that’s really nice in 2022. Kudos, I will listen more. You have my ear.

    Beautiful mind, beautiful voice
Zohar is such a unique thinker, speaker, feeler, and human being! As such, it is only natural and obvious that this podcast is insightful, spirited, creative, and provocative. I found myself grinning and actually laughing out loud while listening — not because it is funny, per se, but because it is actually so profoundly delightful to be with this mind and heart.

    Revelatory
Do yourself a favor and listen in on Zohar’s incredibly interesting discussion. I am not Jewish and not a Traditionally religious person but the discussion with Noah Feldman blew me away. I will need to listen again because they touched on mystical and metaphysical concepts that were revelatory. Together, they made the recondite less obscure. I think you’ll love this one. (My first ever podcast review!)

    Glad his voice is here
I’ve been following Zohar on Twitter for a while now. He’s got deep insight into a lot of big thinkers how to tie some of the meetings in religion into modern day puzzles. I’m not personally very religious but I still find but he has to say very useful. I like his explorations into complicated deep topics. And if he can pull guests like Tyler Cowan I’m gonna be listening for a long time. I’d probably enjoy listening even if he periodically picked a single topic to go deep on without a guest.

This show is thoughtful, meaningful, and rich in style, substance, and range. Looking forward to more!

    Excellent podcast
The Cowen conversation was remarkably thoughtful and enjoyable.

    Tiferet
Your interview was invoked Tiferet. My normal tendency is to bypass many articles and scholars emanating from the Manhattan institute as so many ideas seem to be used by illiberal actors and fascist sympathizers. However, your discussion with Tyler Cowan was enlightening. Despite his idea that Ross Douthat is the best columnist out there I found many congruent ideas and philosophy with my own. So success. This podcast merits 5/5 stars for sure.
