First season was amazing! but then it just became a press tour where they lost the excitement to talk to their guests. Just another podcast now

They’ve been trending in this direction for a while, but they finally went over the edge with the Tony Hinchcliffe interview. Allowing him to go completely unchallenged with his bizarre Maga grievances is the last straw. Unfollowing as of today.

So we're going full racist now with Tony Hinchcliffe. So disappointing but I guess not surprising. Unfollow and sad as a longtime fan to know you are both garbage humans.

I want to note that I love SNL and the work you both did on it. I was so excited to listen to this podcast and hear the stories from writers and actors throughout SNL’s tenure. Sadly, I can no longer continue to listen. I know this is free and you don’t care what we say - but your consistent factual inaccuracies regarding politics is not only annoying, it’s dangerous to the people who respect your opinion. If these were learned statements, it would be different but - like Trump - you say what you want w/o repercussions. Again, I know I’m screaming into a void - but my breaking point was your making jokes about the real fascist and nazified movement in this country with Kill Tony. You may be comedians, but you’re still public figures. You should not say anything regarding politics unless you are sure you have your facts right.

Really, Tony Hinchcliffe? And not Jane Curtin yet?? That episode with Tony was pretty cringe.

The episode with Tony Hinchcliffe was Dana’s way of sucking up to MAGA nation. This host politicized a show that was already too political because of Dana’s impersonation and opinions. Why appeal to MAGA? That’s what happens when you bring guests like Hinchcliffe without regards to his xenophobia and other hateful jokes he shares with MAGA. UNFOLLOW!

Bummed to see them invite such a huge tool as Tony Hinchcliffe. But otherwise a great podcast.

Your decision to have Tony Hinchcliffe on the show was not a good one in my opinion. He has nothing in common with you and you have lost a listener.

Listened to the Tony Hinchcliffe episode and when Dana and David couldn’t be bothered to interrupt, something they always do, to stop him on defending Elon Musk. That was it.

Might as well have Dennis Miller take over the show. Indecent and in poor taste to have that racist on the show. Unfollowed.

The only podcast I look forward to each week for the past couple years

Why do we have to listen to guests that sound like they’re in the bathroom? We know Rob has actual equipment. Even if he’s away from his studio, he could do what Armchair Anonymous guests do, and call in from a closet. With so many podcast choices, audiences don’t need to listen to poor sound quality

You two really brighten my day and make the hour commute to the office so much better!

Man, I wish David Spade would let the guests get a word in. When a guest says something interesting that would prompt anyone else to ask a follow-up question, Spade jumps in with a story about himself. Spade makes it a super annoying show that I won’t listen to again, even though Dana is one of the greats!

Joe Elliott was an interesting guest. The Conan O’Brien, Arnold Schwarzenegger, & Jimmy Fallon episodes made me LOL. During the Larry David episode, I was literally in tears with the John, Paul, George & Ringo impressions! One of my favorite things is when the female in the background (possibly an engineer or producer) can be heard cracking up when one of the hosts or their guest says something really funny.

I love you guys. You’re hysterical even before the interview of your guests. You make my day!

Dana & David would you ever consider having Katt Williams on your show? For what ever reason he was never invited to be apart of SNL and I believe he deserves to tell his story at the right place about never being invited to be apart of SNL. I honestly don’t know why David Spade and Katt Williams never did a movie together. Dana on behalf of all David Spade fans thank you for bringing him back to the spotlight we have missed him and always have appreciated you Dana. Please both of you consider getting Katt Williams on the show.

What Dana Carvey and David Spade have put together for this podcast is amazing! I’ve always been an SNL fan throughout the generations and a fan of these two. This is a really fun and enjoyable podcast and I also like that it’s a great outlet for folks to just have a good laugh and let go of some of the stressful things going on in life.

I used to like this show. Both are funny guys- but then it was MAGA guest after MAGA guest- that was it for me. It is so disappointing to learn that two of your comedy heroes are actually MAGAdopes. Guess this explains Dana’s overly-mean - and unfunny-Biden impersonation. Comedy is one thing, but just to be mean doesn’t cut it. I still have their podcast in my list but really couldn’t care less about listening to them talk over right wing dopes like Dennis Quaid and Danica Patrick who helped to put us where we now are. Haven’t listened to it since Quaid was on.

I was so stoked to listen to Mr Goldstein interview. But right at the beginning the kooks said they talk about themselves (as usual). I just turned it off

Dana and David you both make me laugh with your witty comments. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and funny stories with us. Makes my workout go by quickly.

It’s gotten boring

The constant laughing at Felipe instead of with him is sad. Do better. We get it that you two are rich white men but the ignorance is astounding!

But there are a lot of people who can't handle anyone with a different political point of view, so I'll give them a five, despite some of Dana's extremely juvenile toilet humor. (The redneck character)

This is one of the best podcasts I've found. I love the interviews, and their humor is off-the-charts.

I just love listening to you both! I have always loved all your movies! It’s really nice to hear your crazy humor and silly banters between each other. What a beautiful way to still let us hear some amazing and amusing stories about the big time actors!!

Why does everyone turn into these MAGA doofs , is it the podcast mics that does it. Good thing they got some Real SNL guests before they showed their colors. I see a future with Schnneider and Kid Rock

Listening to Dana do bits while guests are trying to talk is just too painful. I like him when he talks as a real person but the constant impressions are mind numbingly boring. Reminds me of a 9 y/o who annoyingly craves attention. And the MAGA love is a deal breaker. Enjoy your convicted Rapist and President Musk. Peace out.. ✌🏼

The astronauts and NASA officials themselves debunked the Trump/Musk lie that Biden wouldn’t let the astronauts come back sooner. They returned during the timeline date they were always intended to return. The return was set for February 2025 per the agreement the Biden administration made but it pushed out to March due to some issues at Space X. According to these officials, if Elon had a way to get them home sooner than that he never mentioned it to them. You can’t believe a word that Trump or Elon says. You basically know they’re lying because their lips are moving.

I enjoy FotW but the Tiger King episode and their fluffing of despicable Trumpers makes this pod harder to love. Current trajectory is unsustainable.

It was obvious after listening for a long time that Dana was a republican (David too but he does better at steering clear) & that’s fine, but just come out & say it. Don’t pretend you’re calling out both sides. Lots of calling out Biden stuff but not a word on specifics when Trump does terrible things. However, it was fine-I was still here for the comedy nbd. But the tiger king episode 😖 Rough. I’ll stick with Amy Poehler, Mike Birbiglia & the goat Conan to get my joy 🙂

The episode with tiger king was exploitative and insincere. They give a voice to TK who legitimizes the proud boys and related trash, etc.

Musk has Bachelor of Arts in Physics. That’s right an arts degree in Physics. He is not an engineer. He plays engineer with money he made on PayPal. He’s a risky investor who hit it big. By the way, the tax payers bailed out this genius when he’s company almost went bankrupt.

Praising a guy who Sieg Heil salutes at a presidential inauguration (let alone ever) and is stealing money from veterans and elderly people? WILD, I’m out.

They must be trying to siphon off Joe Rogan listeners by pushing frankly weird political angles and conspiracies. Should stick to jokes, guys.

Been listening a long time - tough to keep listening as they choose to platform a convicted felon and celebrate his ties to the Proud Boys with no push back from either David or Dana. Completely disgusted - will no longer listen.

Enjoy the witty takes and interviews. I don’t even care if you like this administration and mention that. What I am finding issue with is the outright defending of specific people. Most recently RFK jr and Elon. All that tells us is that you have too much money. The ONLY reason someone would go on and specifically defend them while ignoring the negative aspects of their actions is because you know they’re on your team. Protecting the rich, protecting their own.

Dana‘s impression of RFK Junior is very funny. His touting of JFK junior’s new role is deeply unfunny.

I grew up on Saturday Night Live—Dana, David, Farley, Will Ferrell, and so many more. For a while, we had an abundance of comedy movies that enriched our lives, but with recent cultural shifts, they’ve become few and far between. Life was feeling so serious—until I discovered this podcast! I’ve been listening for over a year now, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The banter, the laughs—you two always bring a smile to my face and remind me to embrace the absurdities of life. I’m beyond grateful for both of you! Comedy is a gift, and I can’t get enough. Excited for Bus Boys! Thank you for everything you do!
