    For Serious JAWS Fans
The podcaster is not just a JAWS fan, he’s a JAWS scholar. I truly support his work and you should to.

Too much about the book of quint
Your book is fantastic. As is the meat of the podcast when discussing the movie and how the BOQ ties into the movie etc But in my humble opinion a way over abundant amount of time is spent on talking about BOQ sales and reviews and not enough about the movie Just one persons opinion. Hope you have in the works a book of Brody and a book of hooper

    Devotion to the Dorsal Fin
It takes titanic talent (and a good deal of nerve) to endeavor to add such a universe. The more I become acquainted with the world of Jaws and its fandom, the more I find passionate fans and a tight canon. Successfully adding to the story, while pleasing a particular and dedicated fan base, makes Ryan (with the help of John) an absolute legend. The Jaws Obsession is so engaging, so thought provoking, and so smart, that even formerly-disinterested Jaws fans are instantly hooked <fishing pun>. Ryan is in the unique position of having real life experience on the water, the ability to create a vision, and the technical savvy to educate. The JO is 10/10.

A cigar is never just a cigar on the Jaws Obsession!
This podcast gives this masterpiece of a film a thorough going over. Listeners are encouraged to build ideas out of every detail of the film and the host, Ryan, technical advisor, John, and his guests, help fill in all those gaps. A fascinating world-building exercise that is bringing admirers of Jaws together!

    Finally! Found the one!
This is the podcast I have been looking for! This movie is something so special to us all and it is hard to put into words; this podcast does so! It has been my favorite movie since I was 5… Quint and my dad have the identical personality. For a kid whose dad did not talk much about his military experience, this movie taught me a lot! (And now I’m a 21 year military veteran myself!) Thanks for highlighting and doing such an amazing job talking about the greatest movie ever! So glad I found you!

    Brilliant! Just brilliant!
Ryan- I consumed a good number of your podcast episodes on a road trip to Baltimore last weekend. Upon arrival I told my friends about your mission and we watched Jaws one evening. I found myself playing “pop up video” during the movie; telling of all of the insight that you bring to the movie. Now - I a not a reader, but I have read the first chapter and listened to the 2 chapters offered and cannot wait to receive our copy of the book! You have moved up to the top of my list of “people I would like to have a beer with”… All the best in your mission. I am rooting for you and can’t wait to be sitting in the movie theater watching The Book of Quint. -Greg L. (Bridget King’s husband)

The Jaws Obsession is a Masterpiece
My favorite movie of all time has just become more interesting and meaningful by listening to these podcasts. Mr. Dacko has done a wonderful job breaking done the characters and scenes from the movie. He is a Jaws Columbo. I truly appreciate all his passion, knowledge, and love for Jaws in each episode. His quest for a Jaws prequel that Steven Spielberg originally wanted is amazing. The book of Quint would be a great addition to the original Jaws legacy. Let’s face it, all the Jaws movies after the original were disappointing. If Universal Studios is listening, please make the book of Quint the prequel to Jaws. The fans deserve it!

    Podcasting at its best
As the owner of a podcast studio, I can find many flaws with even the best and most popular podcasts. If you look hard enough, you can find flaws everywhere! This podcast is a masterclass in podcasting. Best podcast about Jaws, which is the greatest movie ever made. Fitz

    Spoiler Alert
Save your time-do NOT listen to this podcast. The big reveal is nothing more than a scam, disguised as a podcast, in the hopes of getting people to finance the podcaster’s book which he then hopes to sell as a movie.

    Like eating crab legs!
I recently came across The Jaws Obsession while searching for podcasts covering this absolutely awesome movie. After tuning in to about half a dozen episodes, I found one specific issue with it. On the good side, there is some outstanding content and information to be gleaned. The bad news is that the listener has to really be committed to sit through all fluff to get to it. There’s way too much of an intro and outro at the beginning of the podcast to make it worthwhile. Ironically, the host states in several episodes how the podcast is efficient and allows the listener to get back to his/her day. I’d rather this cast be 10 minutes long and focus on the facts (because that part is 5-star worthy), than all the production as book ends. Hopefully, this review serves as a constructive way to improve the show. Best of luck!
