It’s great to have something genuinely lighthearted and fun to pop on while hiking. I like the little music interludes, the structure of the show and the way the stories are told.

never have I ever written a podcast review but the season finale episode made me come here to say- kelsey and alex, ya’ll are amazing. thanks for making my days brighter with these absurdly wonderful stories.

I’ve been listening to Normal Gossip for a while and I really enjoy the flow of the episodes and how the stories are told. I also appreciate that a recent guest spoke up about the genocide in occupied Palestine along with the climate crisis and other genocides. Although it was so brief, I appreciate the glimmer of solidarity for the struggles of liberation. I hope you continue to speak truth to power and don’t allow haters to silence you. Thank you!

Yes, I enjoy listening to the stories. But I’m tired of the self righteous, condescending attitude anytime Christians are mentioned. COVID as well. I keep hoping they might read some of the more recent research and maybe apologize for all the smarmy, dismissive comments they made in their earlier episodes. But they don’t seem like the kind to apologize for anything other than not being woke enough. Being antisemitic isn’t cool either.

I am in love with this show. I binge the new episodes when they come out and am always waiting desperately for new episodes when they go on break. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun time!

Had a strong start, then stories got boring. The host also has an unbearable laugh.

I’ve really enjoyed this podcast but hearing some of the takes on a recent episode were really devastating as a Jewish listener. I highly suggest keeping current events out of this show.

This is the best thing I’ve ever listened to. As a man I don’t usually get to be involved in gossip and listening fills me with so much joy. I found this podcast today and have been listening nonstop all day. I will binge every episode.

Loved this show but every now and then the guests make me shudder inside with their saccharine voices and posturing tik tok level ideologies while saying some of the cruelest things about other human beings. Stick to the stories and keep in mind that your listeners have a wide range of opinions on topics rather than assuming we all subscribe to your agenda After this last episode with sonalee I think I’m out. I think the “therapist” has much self reflection to do…

I loved this podcast until they had a guest on the latest episode who celebrated the largest mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust. Apparently, antisemitism is okay again?

My favorite show!!! The only one where I’ve listened to every single episode, even just the business updates. Really fun hosts and great stories, a good way to brighten an already great day. Just really disappointed about the episode with Sonalee, who is a pretty horrible sex therapist (said some super perverse and dangerous things; very hypocritical). I would think from a show about gossip they would know about the big names in Philly, the horrible things said, and choose a little bit more wisely who gets onto the show. The episode itself and the conversation was fine though and had none of that involved. Besides that, every single episode and guest has been amazing. PS, love the bunco-ified episode and I might have a new game for my friend group😎.

This a great show, not just because it’s gossip, but because of how it’s presented. There’s a guest that serves as our proxy through this highly-curated trip into the very different worlds each episode take you on. I enjoy and appreciate how the host will pause from time to time to check in on how we’re feeling and how we might proceed - it feels like a choose-your-own-adventure. This is another quality podcast from Radiotopia. Thank you for all the tea!

I am a gossip to my core. Give me the tea, the secrets, the info. Give it to me Rachel. Kelsey and Alex have become my besties in my head. Beyond that the actual crafting of the stories (copy, production, edit) and Kelsey’s interviewing style are just impeccable. The scary Halloween ep live rent free in my frontal lobe. My single greatest hope in life is to be a guest. A lil secret to conclude: a relative of mine got married (congrats or whatever) turns out. Someone else in the family used to date the same gal. They broke up because she wanted to party 24/7 and he’s pretty sure she was cheating on him with the relative she ended up marrying.

Just found this show and listened to the Dog Salon episode. Laughed so hard I cried at the end. This show is the wholesome, uplifting, lighthearted content that I needed in my life. Thank you for existing ❤️

Just had to stop by and say that the “Bunco-ified” episode was some of the best, most delicious, had-me-on-the-edge-of-my-seat gossip I have ever heard! Easily one of my top 3 Normal Gossip episodes to date. I was actually screaming out loud at some of the revelations and giggling delightfully at the shenanigans these Bunco ladies were up to. Currently wondering how I can form a drinking-gaming group like this for myself. I was absolutely tickled to learn that these ladies are still going strong! Thank you to the Normal Gossip team for finding and constructing this fabulous gossip story to share with us!!

This is quite literally my favorite podcast! Ever since I quit my job and moved abroad the number one thing I missed in life was all the day to day gossip that I would get from friends and coworkers. This podcast fills the void with all the low stakes gossip my little heart desires. Thank you so much! Y’all make me feel whole again!

There are podcasts and then there are Podcasts. This my friends is the latter. 14/10.

Shocking and so much fun. It’s silly and fun. I love Kelsey’s little evil giggle. The hot goss is real and stupid and silly but SO funny.

As a guy, I’m not much of a gossip person, for sure. But with this podcast, that don’t matter. After an initial eye roll or two, I started laughing at the jokes and admiring the quality storytelling. This is genuinely a very funny podcast. In fact, it runs circles around anything else. Guests are top-notch and really buy into the premise and contribute to the adventure, which isn’t an easy ask. It requires a quick wit. Host has a great way of unraveling a story as a bit of a slow burn and drawing out the best from her guests. Highly recommend to everyone, even if you aren’t into gossip.

But the host says “like”, HUNDREDS of time per episode. Every 5th word is “like”, it seems.

Really enjoy the stories but once I picked up on this I found it so distracting. Update: the stories aren’t entertaining anymore either. Middle school drama and giggle fests.

This show is so funny and the stories are so well-constructed. One of my favorite podcasts.

This is such a fun podcast! My son and I listen to it together driving to and from school, and we look forward to each new episode. I love that the stories are sophisticated but somehow remain mostly wholesome. Now, speaking as someone who has the biggest garbage mouth of all my friends, the one thing I will say is that it feels like the language is unnecessarily packed with f-bombs, even when the story itself is totally tame. I realize this podcast is not intended for kids, but the content would be a little more interesting if the language could just tone down a bit. I’m all for a well-placed f-bomb, but sometimes it’s so overused that it feels unnecessary and a bit lazy. Kelsey is so smart and great with language so I’d love if she would dig deeper into that. I think her guests would follow suit and the quality of the show would get a real boost.

The host track is always SO much louder than the guest! I spend the whole episode turning volume up and down. Which is a real testament to the quality of the content, it is SO GOOD I keep doing this and keep coming back.

This is storytelling, not mean, not nosey

Every story I can relate too either personally or in a way like Kevin Bacon. You will be hooked!! I stopped listening to any other show to binge on every story. Thankfully a few seasons are available. Best writing and guest listeners who say what you are thinking also about the cast of characters. Definitely changed me deeply on who are your friends and how crazy people are. Gossip served up with all the goodies. I have forwarded many episodes to friends who can relate to theses stories.

I feel like I shouldn’t like gossip stories but these are fun, anonymous and always surprising. It’s gossip but not mean spirited. Also the stories are told well and it’s one of few podcasts that manages volume and audio quality well. Thanks for the fun entertainment!

Normal Gossip is the show I didn’t know I needed until it debuted and I was immediately hooked. As a nosey person this fulfills my soul on a deep level. I’ve gotten all three of my siblings hooked and we all talk about the gossip like it’s affecting our own lives. We are huge fans!

I heard about this podcast from a coworker, and I’m in awe. What a fantastic show with relatable stories. I'm literally going through every episode to be caught up for the new episode in April.

I have been listening to podcasts long before they were cool and this is my favorite podcast bar none! I tell everyone I know about this podcast and always hear back how much I’ve changed their lives for the better. Cannot recommend it enough.
