    Keep listening.
I listened backwards, stopped at episode 13. The summary of events leading to this conflict was quite biased towards Israel. There were significant events left out that give much needed context to the history. Episode 82, loved it. I could feel the nerves but truly enjoyed the open and honest conversation.

    Shameful
Pro Hamas echo chamber. The end of objective journalism from CNN.

    dishonest zxnxst propaganda
dishonest journalism in "tug of war" episode april 2024. disingenuous zxnxst propaganda, both sidesism fallacy ("both sides are convinced the other side wants them wiped off the face of the earth") yet there's only evidence that izxhell is committing genocide against the others. incredibly dishonest and harmful pro-gxnxcxd propaganda.

    Very biased podcast
There is a lot of focus on the Arab perspectives ie Lebanon, Gaza, etc., and very little focus on the Israeli POV. Where are your journalistic principles? Much more balance is needed.

The two state solution is absurd
    1. Gaza and the West Bank is separated by Israel in between. Think East and West Pakistan. 2. Kushner proposed a tunnel connecting the two. What was he smoking? It would be a nightmarish security threat for Israel. 3. Look at the map of the West Bank. It is dotted with Jewish settlements, Palestinian controlled, Israeli controlled and jointly controlled areas. How is this going to be consolidated into two contiguous areas. 4. What are the proponents of a two state solution hallucinating about? This is an unconventional situation that does not lend itself to a political, diplomatic negotiated solution. What Israel should do is set up secured refugee camps for women, children and elderly. Take over Gaza and the West Bank. Turn these refugee camps over to the international community to serve, with the understanding that they will be relocated out of Israel. End the Palestinian cause once and forever.

How Decades of Displacement and Discord Fueled This War
Very informative, right to the point. Really appreciated how she told the Palestinian story as well. Feels like that story is less well-known in the US so really liked the historical context starting back in the 1800s. Thank you!

jim sciutto today said on cnn newsroom today discussing russian students turning in their teacher for speaking the truth about what russia is really doing to Ukrainian people and their country. sciutto said that sounds like something from wwII. true but as of lately it is right here in out own country committed by the gop. remember not very long ago parents and children were asked to turn in public school teachers in virginia by glenn youngkin newly elected gov to turn in teachers who talk about racism in the classroom and how it exists in america. jim, you don’t have to go back very far to hear fascist language out of the mouths of republicans. heed the warning america, we need to take this renewed and trump energized facism seriously!

Biased, uninformative propaganda. What CNN does best.
If your looking for information about the 2014 coup or the past 7 years of Zelenskys racist and neo-nazi takeover of Ukraine, you won’t find it here. Leave it to the propaganda producers at CNN, a dying network for good reason, to completely try to shift the narrative and place blame entirely on Russia. It seems that’s the only reason they exist today. Please, if you value the truth and getting unbiased information, stay far away from any of these “journalists” there are to many great sources today to waste time with this paid for propaganda.

    Tug of war
As a family who values the news, we daily tune in to National/Minnesota Public Radio as well as other news sources we can trust, of which CNN is one. Today I finally took the time to listen to the first episode of Tug of War and found it brief and to the point without filling the podcast with endless so called experts, instead using interviews of the people who are actually living in their real and often horrendous world. There seems to be no place on our planet that is without conflict so we are thankful for honest and brave journalists who risk their lives to show us the reality of what is actually happening. We would be unable to work together to bring about peace in the world if we were not aware of what is happening to others. Thank you. Elizabeth Forsythe

    Tug of War
The episodes individually sound to be good, by journalists I admire. Yet who wrote the main description of this podcast—in particular “where democracy is in its dying days”? What? I do not think the Ukrainians would agree!! This sounds like it was written by someone with an underlying agenda! The love for freedom and the Ukrainian commitment to democracy and each other is why they are so successful against a much larger force that is arrayed against them. My rating? It is for the journalists that I see are doing the individual episodes, not the misleading overall statement!

    Excellent interviews
I just found this podcast in the last few days and appreciate it so much. I've often wondered what motivates journalists to go to war zones. The compassion shown by Anderson and his colleagues and interviewees to bring the human stories is inspiring. It is obvious that it is a true calling to serve humanity. Thank you so much for bringing these stories.

    Absolutely Astounding Reporting
I just listened to another weekly episode of Clarissa Ward’s podcast sand I am moved to tears. It was called “Three Finger Salute.” It was about what happened in Miramar earlier this year. Her report begins low key and I almost turn it off then she steps out of the security that country has given her visit and really tells the story of the coup that has taken place after a democratic election. This real time reporting an experienced journalist is exceptional. I will continue to listen every week.
