I wish Sunny would do an exposé on Stephen Miller, the man behind the curtain, feeding Trumps hate rhetoric.

¡La representación es crítica! Gracias por seguir diciendo esto. Cuando estaba en la escuela de medicina y luego en el ejército, había muy pocas mujeres. Fue muy difícil. ¡La representación marca la diferencia!

    Love the podcast!
I’m a huge fan (and a Bri guy!) of the podcast. I always listen to the podcast once I watch the tv episode. Everyone brings something special to their respective episodes. And Brian is a great host! Brian: You must do another evening election special this year!

    Get a grip
Sarah, I love you and everyone else on the show, but get a grip. We ALL love our dogs. I still haven’t gotten over the loss of my fur baby, but I think you were a little hard on Brian regarding your sweet fur baby. I felt bad for him, like maybe he was embarrassed, from you taking what he said so badly. 🙂

I absolutely LOVE it when Rachel Maddow visits
Rachel is one of (if not THE) smartest people on the air today. I've never listened to this podcast until today, and I love what I'm hearing. Alyssa has really grown on me (and I'm so thankful that she's more of a moderate than Meghan McCain could ever be), and I really enjoyed listening to both ladies on the podcast today (my first time listening, by the way).

    Brian
Brian, why are you teasing Sara about crying? You kept insisting she was crying even though she was adamant she was not. Seems like she would know but who cares (other than you) if she was? It came across as emotional bullying, passive aggressive and condescending. Left me wondering if you even like her.

Whoopie Goldberg Defends Harrison Butker’s Oppression of Women
It’s people like Whoopie Goldberg who give ignorant men the ammunition they need to keep bashing women and contributing to backwards spiral of our society. Whoopie, I know you love cashing a pay check for saying radical things, but I often wonder if you stop to consider the world you are ACTIVELY helping to create for others. You know at my kids school yesterday a 15 year old boy told a young lady all she’s good for is sex and having babies. And he spoke about Harrison. Why did this young man feel justified in saying this? Because people are more worried about money than protecting and safeguarding all of societies members. Whoopie, I just hope you think more about the life and the world that’s being created based on the things YOU say. I don’t think you realize how many people you hurt with your cruel anti-freedom for women views.

For goodness sake, Goodfellas IS a DRAMA . And yes, it’s hovering just below The Godfather, 1&2. Footloose? FOOTLOOSE?? Brian has leagues more understanding of movies.

Never miss a podcast episode. Every host brings something different. Also, have watched every “view” since day one! I am a “Bri girl”, too! Keep up the great work. Good way to end my day as I do evening chores and such. Feel like I am listening to friends bantering! Thanks for being part of my life!

    Love this Podcast!
This is one of the only podcasts I listen to. I enjoy all the hosts on TV, but I find myself tuning in on the podcast most often to Joy, Ana, and Sunny (in that order). They are fun to listen to and it’s a good mix of serious and light topics. Thank you for your hard work to make this happen! These interviews make my subway, bus, train rides and walks more entertaining. I also appreciate this podcast because I live in Taiwan and can’t access full episodes on TV - only the clips on YouTube.

    Behind the Table
I love the intervews Brian does with the hosts. I especially like that the hosts get to really talk at length about whatever the subject is, unlike on the show when they can barely get a word in edgewise sometimes. The View is my favorite show on TV; and I’m really chagrined when you’re not on for whatever reason. Keep up the good work. For some reason I’m not able to write another review without this one I wrote a couple weeks ago showing up again. I just listened to Brian and Joy about the missing lasagna. Thanks for Joy’s recipe, by the way. But the main thing is I wanted to tell Brian our family used to go to Mountain Lake when lived in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area of Virginia. We even went to one of the Dirty Dancing weekends there once. People come from all over the world for it. I am a native Virginian, living in NC now. Is your wife from Virginia? Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving at Mountain Lake!

    Best Desert Evey Evening
Enjoy thoroughly- sweet and fun. Forgive, but I leave podcast frequently unfinished when Sunny is your subject . Her name droppings, show off tendencies and big-headed bragging becomes overbearing. Love hearing Sara, Ana and most especially Joy. You, Brien are irresistible. You are skilled and delightful to hear. Podcast is fresh and entertaining. Thank you. Hazel. Just enjoyed hearing Alyssa. Very relatable. She is such an excellent fit for show. Smart and down to earth. She manages to have strong points of view without being overbearing. She always keeps her dignity no matter strong opposing voices. Alyssa is just lovely. So genuine- not into self-praise or name dropping. Love Joy and Sara too. This podcast is right with me nightly as I take a bath! So happy listening. Thank you all. 👍 Hazel March 22, 2024 Hello Brian Please let Ana know that I love each podcast. I wait to take a bath and use that time to listen and enjoy. Your podcasts are packed with great listening. Keep up excellent content. I hope my thoughts get to Brian. Jen Psaki and Alyssa were magic together. Could listen daily. Podcasts are wonderful. I especially love hearing Joy and Sara, and Alyssa. Podcasts are always well done and I always wish a bit longer.

Great show, Alyssa has great insight
I like all the co-hosts,but, Alyssa’s episodes are always amazing. I love getting to hear a firsthand account of what the Trump White House was like. I think she has a very pragmatic and realistic view of politics. Plus it’s always nice to hear a conservative viewpoint, even if I don’t agree with her ideas she brings up issues that you don’t hear about much. I think her stories and analysis really shine in this slightly longer form. Also, her views on Bravo and Taylor Swift are super interesting too!

    Progressive Voice Needed STAT
I’ve watched this show since its inception and the fact you have *very old* people regurgitating right wing talking points thanks to the mainstream media, a former Trump apologist as the young person, and Sara who calls organizers “Jihadists” and says pro-Palestinian people are falling for “Hamas propaganda” on her official View Instagram account (but not actually on the show? Isn’t she supposed to be sharing her actual views there, hence the name?)… This show is called “The View” for a reason. The fact that there has never been a progressive on this show to share that perspective and to counter the misinformation and misrepresentation of the progressive moment that is growing in this country is an abject failure of ABC Network, the producers, and the viewers not demanding it. The show’s reach is too important not to have an actually progressive person on it. Sunny occasionally has a progressive viewpoint but is shut down by Sara who repeats a lot of what her bigoted and Islamophobic husband says on Twitter.

Stop with the pop culture moms PLEASE
just read the title. From the theme song and the length of the advertisement. it’s been a turn off from the beginning. I love the view and have watched EVERY EPISODE. Behind the table has become a welcome addition to my podcast roster.

    Thank you all
Hello Brian, Thank you for the podcasts. I don’t listen to them daily, but I do listen to them all when I have the time. Thank you Whoopi for keeping the ladies focused as much as possible and for reminding people that they need to vote. Thank you Joy for humor and historical knowledge. Thank you Sara for your lightness of heart and for being polite at all times. Thank you Ana for your perspective on LGBTQ and political points. Thank you Sunny for explaining legal points, supporting race issues, and for finally not interrupting Alyssa all of the time. Thank you Alyssa for explaining the Trump Whitehouse, hang in there!

    Cicadas
FYI: According to the Illinois extension.edu, Whoopi was more accurate than Sunny. While two broods or types will ( as is quite rare) be emerging at the same time, they will be in separate places, so both will not be present on the same piece of land, except they think possibly, a few pockets around Springfield, Illinois. So this shouldn’t be an apocalyptic event. Though they can be damaging to very young trees or shrubs, mature trees can handle being pruned somewhat by their activity. They are not dangerous toward humans or animals, though some dogs ( all 3 of mine) love to eat them, which isn’t a problem either, ( they are edible) though you have to make sure they don’t over consume, with the high numbers around during the periodical cicadas emergence. The Super loud sounds coming from large numbers of them is the most notable thing usually. And researchers say that less than 5% of cicadas are infected with that fungus, and they have yet to see any effect on wildlife beyond the cicadas themselves. To put some headlines in to fuller perspective.

I am worried about the future of the USA
Hi Brian, I hope you read this. I sent you a review few months ago and I think I accidentally sent the same review just a few minutes ago. I was trying to write another review I still love the show just as much as I have always loved it. I just really came across something that I thought might be helpful. I love the show I love all the politics I love all the other topics to! I have never been A Trump supporter. When Joy was crying in 2016 so was I. (LOL) I just have been having a really hard time because I love and respect many people that are in my life but the one area that we really disagree on is politics and they are Trump supporters and I just cannot understand how you can be an American citizen and believe in him. I am really scared that we may lose our democracy and I tell people this all the time and they act like I’m an idiot. I guess my point is how do I talk to people that don’t want to listen to me or should I even care what they think. I value everyone’s opinion on the panel I just really am upset because I’m scared that we are going to lose democracy as I’ve known it for almost 60 years. I am feeling a little hopeful I listened to a podcast hosted by Hillary Clinton called You And Me Both. Hillary interviewed her husband on the season finale of her podcast in December 2023. I’m just trying to get to the point that you might want to mention to people or have the ladies or people on your team listen to the podcast because I thought that it was very educational and uplifting at the same time I realize that we are now in April but it still gives me hope. I know this is probably going to be a strange review because it’s not a review actually it’s just me trying to let you know that I value all of your opinions and I watch the show daily and I listen to the podcast mainly because I’m terrified of what may come to happen I am trying to get a grip on it I’m just saying can you please listen to the last episode of her podcast because I just think it might be helpful to people. Can anyone please give me peace and not be scared that we are going to lose our democracy. I try not to think about it I used to be a News junkie and now I watch one or two newscast today and The View every day because you guys are the only ones that seem to be telling both sides of an issue.

Continue to love Anna/ Anna is hysterical
Anna is direct & funny. I wish Sunny would stop overtalking when others are trying to make a point. Joy is my favorite! Brain’s interviews are great—& Anna is fantastic! Wow! Really appreciated Sarah’s interview with the 2 Taylors. I’m going to check out the Squeeze. Really love Sarah! I relate to her “heart-on-her-sleeve openness. And I really enjoy Brian’s interviews! Wow! Sarah’s holiday was wild! You couldn’t make that up!very Anna is a treasure—& so witty, smart, & caring. She always makes the show better. Great podcast! Anna is so smart & funny—& Brian is great!

    Alyssa
Alyssa is so intelligent and I really enjoy the balance she brings to the table that The View always needed. I consider myself Independent and leaned more conservative in the past. Last one in her spot was immature, aggressive and unprofessional for this seat. It was interesting to hear her viewpoints, but MM's unpleasant behavior always threw me off. This podcast really is insightful. I have watched the show since day one. Keep up the good work Brian. I know you have your hands full!
  • Cris8463
Brian - thanks for the work you do!!
Enjoy watching the View and listening to the podcast. I like listening to each of the hosts individually expressing their views on politics and current events. I do use The View as my main source of news both nationally and internationally. Some of the hosts, however, talk too much about their families especially when time is of the essence. I enjoy Sarah's growth intellectually and speaking up throughout the years. Some of her comments are extremely profound and well thought out. One major cringe worthy comment is when the hosts flirt and treat the male guests like a piece of meat. Ex: when male guest gave Joy a foot message. We want to hear what a guest has to say not have them be treated in a degrading manner. Women are trying to get more respect for their work and not their looks. I feel The View hosts sometimes cross the line with their comments and looks towards the male guests. Finally, don't know if Whoopi G. is trying to be funny when she is "annoyed" or bored with the topic. Once was funny but please no more. Very disrespectful. You are the moderator so use your skills to redirect the conversation instead of using antics. Love you guys and this is the best group ever!!!

What I Enjoy About The Show.
I’m a 78 year old man, who in my retirement have gotten into TheView. I like the give and take between the women, but I have say, my absolute favorite is Joy! Probably because she looks and reacts to subjects the same way I would if I were sitting there. She is also very funny and can make my day with her “one liners!” With Whoopi there, it’s a very lively group, which I enjoy watching.

The View is a popular show in our house, but Teresa Caporro has made it difficult to watch since the “psychic” bit. Her Wig was so disturbing, that anything she said was just silly. I’m a die hard fan, been watching and taping since the show started, now retired, love all the ladies and their perspectives on Hot Topics, I’m from Miami so happy that Ana Navarro is a permanent host, I’ve followed her for a while, she’s a hoot…..I’m an independent leaning more to center left and it’s great to have Alyssa and Ana with the Republican view, anyhoo this group is awesome they have great chemistry even when they disagree…..Brian I’m one of the Brian girls love your podcast keep up the great work, many blessings to y’all!!

The other half of the loss of abortion rights.
The man’s loss can be devastating as the woman’s for sub-coming to natural drives. For the failure of a contraceptive and they do fail or simply loss of control over natural drives that are very powerful he can find himself with devastating financial consequences that could diminish his quality of life for the rest of it. No ones asking what if the women who are forced into having children that they don’t want just force the man to have them after birth. That’s reasons for men to want abortions available too. Because being broke for 20 plus years for one moment’s pleasure paying for a unwanted child who you’re likely not going to be there to raise properly. No one talks about the reasons why men should be on women’s side restoring roe. There not only forcing women into having these kids.
