Great show for those wanting to keep up on news and legislation affecting our sacred Second Amendment.

    Great podcast
A very interesting podcast about what’s new in guns and gun politics. I will say I find the sports banter completely boring. I wish you would stop wasting so much time talking about your home sports teams

    SPORTS TALK
PLEASE STOP THE SPORTS TALK BANTER. Your podcast is EXCELLENT. You are more informed and insightful than any attorney you have on. But, when you talk about the eagles, I swerve off the road to hit the fast forward button. Other than the useless sports banter your podcast is the best on gun issues. Thanks for all the time and research you do.

Informative and refreshing take on firearms news
Stephen does a fantastic job making complex and often misunderstood firearms and legal topics understandable with zero excess hype or drama. He has a very professional and business like demeanor but also clearly has a passion for the topics he covers. I really enjoy the news segments, as he also has a very good cast of news analysts to keep the topics and discussions fresh and relevant.

    Excellent show but….
…please invest in a better microphone and some sound treatment. The sibilance is killing my ears! Aside from that, great work! Carry on.

I really want to rate this podcast better
First, the good: the commitment to factual and balanced reporting on Second Amendment issues is without par. Guests consistently have important contributions to make on the discussion, regardless of their partisan valence. Kudos. Now, the not so good: Stephan—brother man—you’re painful to listen to. You *have* to work on being more natural in discussions and as an interviewer. No disrespect, but if you weren’t so good at booking guests, I’d have stopped listening a long time ago.

    Quality over sensationalism
An enormous breath of fresh air to anyone who either cares about firearms (or at least cares to be *informed* about firearms) without a howling, propagandistic culture war cant. Gutowski is that rare Republican who can actually get liberals in my life to listen rather than reflexively dismiss, because it’s fairly clear that he cares more about *information* than *indoctrination*

    Great content with small critique
Being a fantastic writer doesn’t always translate to a great audio podcaster. It can be a tough listen sometimes with all the pauses, uh, umm and jumping on a guests speech. Maybe I am more accustomed to listening to shows like AAR / GUNTALK where they are professional broadcasters. I try to overlook that as Stephen discusses the very important items he and his guests cover. It’s tough sometimes though.

    Great Information
Great show with fantastic information. I must disagree with when you called Gottlieb extreme when he called the anti gun politicians evil. Their actions through the laws they promote directly lead to murders, that’s evil in my book. Mitchell Manning Ca.

    Great Coverage
Broad topic coverage for 2A supports and firearms enthusiasts.(20220418) The 2020 election was rigged. 2000 Mules will be released soon. And there have already been legal decisions that stated election rule changes were unconstitutional. Expect to hear more use of the term “Rigged”. I certainly will be using it more.

    Good….needs work…to be Greet…
Steve the top 2A focused journalist in the game and always provides the best in new & game changing information. This particular podcast is a new endeavor for him and it shows in his delivery & interaction with his guests. The amount of firearm related information he possesses and can easily recall makes him the top dog in his field. However, it’s making it very difficult for him to effectively interact with his guests. I’ve seen him take over(and talk over) for his guest many times when they are beginning to answer the very question he just asked. He also seems to enjoy nitpicking his guest with the most minor irrelevant correction in the middle of an answer. It destroys the flow of the conversation and his guests seem to become aware of this and contribute less with much shorter answers to his questions. He may be better served by not having guests & just presenting the information himself. He may also benefit from having someone else host the show and tee up the conversations for him.

Great analysis - annoying nervous giggling
UPDATE: Every time I listen to this the nervous giggling gets more annoying. Stephen Gutowski does a great job analyzing the most important anti-gun efforts. He needs to stop the nervous giggling and the umms and uhhs, though. They’re distracting and make him sound less authoritative, like he was just sitting in his mom’s basement one day and decided to do a gun podcast with no knowledge or experience. In other words, it makes him sound like the exact opposite of what he is: a highly informed and knowledgeable commentator. Great content. Needs a better presentation.
