Used to enjoy the recaps when she was doing makeup and murders, and rediscovered the podcast recently. I absolutely HATE how she sounds now! Like why are you forcing yourself to sound like you don’t know how to breathe properly? It’s that weird, forced, super nasally, white girl seeking attention voice and it’s so hard to listen to. Couldn’t stand to listen to it. One star because what happened?

I love Bailey and her YouTube and podcast. She takes complicated topics and makes them interesting and understandable. Stories are pretty interesting however I hate so many commercials. I feel like if I hear one more time Smile 2 horror movie add, I am going to turn this off. Add there one or two times during an episode and we get the message, but when it’s every 3-5 minutes it’s super annoying.

I love Bailey she is a great story teller. I watched her YouTube channel all the time at work (I work night shift) and loved it. When I ran out of Murder Mystery and Makeup videos I started on Dark History and fell in love. The stories she chose are always super informative and mind blowing definitely not stuff you learned in school. I love history and this is a super fun way to learn new things.

I’ve been listening to Dark History for a long time and absolutely love Bailey Sarian. I wish they had never added background music. It’s extremely hard for me to listen to her talk with the music that they’ve started playing in the background. I’ve had to skip some episodes because the background music makes the experience so awful. I absolutely could not listen to the two episodes about Stalin. Please just let Bailey talk without all that noise!

Six months ago, I discovered this podcast after a severe injury. I was unable to work and had many nights of restless sleep. Bailey got me through this time with her wit and wisdom and I didn’t ever feel lonely while laying around and waiting for the healing process to end. Thank you, Bailey and Joan, for being the BFFs I needed!

Bailey Sarian stands out among all podcast hosts I have encountered. I learn something every episode, but she also makes me laugh every episode with her comical, quirky remarks that feel unscripted and like you're listening to a friend tell you a story. She keeps the content engaging and keeps her episodes at a relatively digestible length. Much recommended.

But, it almost seems like you’re listening to an oral report by a child. The story line is basic, disorganized, and is told in a childish way.

I love how soothing your voice is, great delivery very clear and engaging. You enhance our attidufes and help me unwind. Clearly Bailey sis I need you to keep coming out with more episodes girl! I love the history lessons & honestly dumbing things down for me. In history classes they would use words that I had 0 idea what they meant. I love the attention to details & creating a common ground where everyone listening understands ❤️❤️❤️

Is there any dark history about how concerts came about ? Like how did someone get heard of before phones and tv and maybe even news paper? Like did the Egyptians go on tours or sum shi😂. I dont even know if this will make any sense but I figured why not. lol.

Dark History and Murder, Mystery, and Makeup are two of my favorite Podcasts! Bailey is an amazing story teller, she always tries to add a little humor to her Dark History episodes while being respectful at the same time. I look forward to new episodes every week.

Bailey is like listening to your best friend give you the latest scoop.. if the latest scoop was some creepy cool history that is. Seriously love this podcast so much.

I like the content of the podcast, but the editing is downright awful. The ad breaks are abrupt and often in the middle of a sentence. I just finished an episode that had cuts of dialogue from a completely different episode and then would cut back to the current episode. I turned it off and unfollowed the show for good. I can’t get past the ads and the poor editing.
