    Favorite Lasso Podcast
This is hands down my favorite Ted Lasso podcast. I think others I listen too are too much of fans they can’t be critical of the show, but the Lasso Lowdown does a great job of hitting the great points of the show but calling out the problems and points of the show that I too can scratch my head over. Love it. A real celebration but critical review of each episodes.

    Spin-offs will be defacto S4
I really feel the reason the storylines aren’t convergent is because the show is focused on setting up spin offs next year. Ted won’t be back, but Keely will have her show. Rebecca might be a recurring character on Nate’s show about him being the head coach of whatever team he ends up with. This season of Ted Lasso isn’t about Ted.

    Top 10?
I’ve enjoyed listening to this and catching up before season 3 comes out. My only quibble is that as the end is the “ Sportscenter Top 10- Not 9 not 11 but 10 things” however I’ve counted almost every episode and it’s been an average of 5-7 things. They do a very thorough recap though which is nice to get all the little things that are commonly missed on one watch.

    Excellent podcast!
I’m a little late to the Ted Lasso party, so I’d already watched all of seasons 1 and 2 before I started listening to this, which made listening to their predictions about upcoming episodes while already knowing what happens kind of fun. Lee and Spencer put quite a bit of thought and effort into each episode and it really shows. I enjoy all of the segments, my favorite (after Spencer’s recap) being Trainwreck of the Episode. That’s always good for a chuckle. My only real criticism is that Spencer got kind of wrapped around the axle about when the team protested Cerenthium (sp?) Oil and the legal and political issues around it. After a few minutes I was like “Dude, it’s a TV show, let it go!” I know Spencer’s a lawyer so I guess he can’t help himself lol. Even so, this is my #1 choice for a Ted Lasso podcast. I listened to several episodes each of a few others before I found this one, so you can trust me when I say this is the one you want. Now that we all have to wait around for season 3 I’m going to check out their Succession podcast.

    Well worth a listen
Great podcast for Ted Lasso fans. Good rhythm of conversation and rapport between the two hosts. I enjoy their insight on the show and I actually like that they don’t go into detail about actors real names or past works. My fav Lasso podcast and well worth a listen.

Please improve one BIG thing you do!
So I have been listening to you guys since about Season 2/Ep 5 and I have liked what I have heard through the finale. But I have one MAJOR problem that you guys could fix easily. It drives me crazy when you compliment an actor on the show for their acting and you don’t know their name. In the finale episode you did that with both Keeley and Nate. In fact in the seven episodes I have listened to, you have only referred to one actor, Jason Sudeikis. That’s it. Don’t you have access to IMDB? Just open up IMDB and learn that Beard is played by Brendan Hunt, one of Jason S’s oldest friends. They started together at Boom Chicago (along with Seth Myers) in Amsterdam. Brendan is one of the creators of the show. You would learn that Keeley is Juno Temple, an accomplished actress and that Nate is Nick Mohammed, an outstanding standup comedian and the creator of a series with David Schwimmer. Hopefully you know Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein who won the Emmy’s but your ignorance of the actor’s names when talking about their performances is just wrong. Otherwise, this is a pretty good podcast.

    Blame Keeley?
First time listening. To blame Keeley for Nate’s infraction? Horrible. Stopped and won’t listen again.

    Incels yammering
I listened to this show for the first time for the latest episode “Midnight Train…”. One of these idiots had the audacity to argue in 2021 that Keeley “should have known” that Nate “was creeping on her”, because ”she’s modeled topless jumping out of an airplane”. And the only reason she didn’t, they agree, was because “she was distracted by the Vanity Fair article”. These are the kind of men think they support women, and then say stupid sht like this. Nate kissing Keeley was about his need for *power*, not Keeley or her attractiveness. Listen to the discussion they’re having at the moment he tries- its all about power. And Keeley hasn’t seen anything about Nate’s changing attitude over this season. But no, you two, keep arguing that she “should have known”. You probably think women “ask for it”, too.

    Great podcast for Ted Lasso
The hosts are excellent, work together well and go through the episodes with valuable analysis and input. I tend to skip the beginning segments (nothing against them, just anxious to get to the recap). I would say most of the other Lasso podcasts are busy with too many hosts talking over each other; very glad this one keeps it simple.

    Best Lasso Review Show
Really love the show. The segments are great and entertaining. The only reason for 4 stars is the lack of soccer acumen. Still love the show and it adds an extra special Lasso hour or 2 to my week!

    Great podcast, but…
Season 2 episode 8: Lee stating no one cares about how much weight you can lift in the gym? Spoken like a bona fide pencil-necked geek!

The most thorough, insightful Ted Lasso podcast
If, like me, you love Ted Lasso but, unlike me, you don’t have time to waste listening to every single Ted Lasso podcast and rundown out there, your problem is solved: just listen to The Lasso Lowdown. These guys are the best, hands-down. If you’ve ever taken a literature class from a top-notch professor who spotlights all the details and bread crumbs laid down by the author, you know that it can totally transform your enjoyment of, say, a Wordsworth poem or a Walter Scott novel. That’s what The Lasso Lowdown brings to Ted Lasso.

    Great breakdowns and fun segments
Great breakdown and having fun with Ted Lasso. Really enjoy listening to you guys. FYI - pretty sure season 2 Ted Lasso reports are 12 episodes (2 might be fillers), and not 10 which you guys keep referencing in your S2E7 podcast.

    Great job, Spencer and Lee
Spencer and Lee provide us with tons of solid content! I especially like the housekeeping at the start with-Biscuits with the Boss and the tea inspiration. I’m new to the Ted Lasso world and devoured season one and all episodes dropped so far for season two. This podcast has all the feels, and personal asides, which I like as well. Thank you for filling me up with more Ted Lasso!!

    Making podcasts great again!
I didn’t think I could love Ted Lasso anymore than I already do, but this podcast made it possible. Spencer and Lee give such a great, thorough, and heartfelt breakdown of each episode. I love all the segments. And the lessons from Ted at the end are seriously some of the best advice I’ve ever gotten. It’s also the only podcast that made me cry at work, so cheers for that.

    Fun and smart coverage
These guys know how to balance each other’s perspectives in a casual and acutely intelligent banter on Ted Lasso. All of their podcasts have been great so far. Can’t wait for the next episode of the show and the podcast.

    Great pod!
The Mangum Talks guys are always a lot of fun! They do a great job with this one. It’s breezy, light hearted and really funny- much like Ted Lasso. If you’ve already seen or are interested in Ted Lasso, gives this pod a try.
