    My favorite podcast
I’m really passionate and curious about the ethics of fashion and this podcast just covers it so well! Every episode is thoroughly researched and chock full of resources and there are so many interesting guests. I personally prefer a tightly edited show to a rambly one (though those have their merits, too!) and this one is clearly structured, which I think helps to understand the sometimes complex issues that are covered. Would recommend to anyone.

Opened my eyes to sustainable fashion.
This podcast has changed how I understand the fashion industry profoundly. It’s materially changed how I consume. It’s also so well researched, fun, and completely interesting. So glad I found it!

Great info, easily digestible, and relatable
This is one of my favorite podcasts. I learn so much from every episode. The content is explained in a way that’s easy to understand for listeners new to sustainability, while the podcast also explores topics more advanced in sustainability. I have sent friends who are new to sustainable fashion the first five episodes and they say it’s the perfect entry way. The hosts also speak in a non-judgmental approachable way, making it enjoyable like you’re talking to a friend. Thank you for all the great resources 💚

    Facelift to Uplift
My favorite podcasts are about bringing awareness and education to ideas that I care about so I was really excited to discover this one. Unfortunately, I had a hard time listening to this podcast as it sounds like the women are gossiping, instead of realizing that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I love the content but wish these women would work on how to uplift the voices they love instead of speak down on the ones they don’t. They could be even stronger in their cause and call out the issues with fast fashion etc if they would focus positively on the solutions and delivery fact findings on the issues.

    Great info for today’s shopper
As someone in the fashion industry, this podcast is on point. Great content and so many great things to think about and action. This is the conversation that needs to be happening on a larger scale.

    You asked, I rated! :-)
First time listening but really enjoyed your most recent episode about hustle culture and how starting out small but concentrating your efforts and having effective boundaries really resonated with me. Love the conscious tips as well!

Great & thoughtful guests and host!
The breadth and depth of the podcast is the best I've found for those truly interested in learning more about issues of sustainability and fashion. Especially appreciate that it's not commercially-oriented or trying to sell products like other shows. And the guests represent a range of people in the industry and discourse beyond just designers and consumers (like academics, teachers, etc) which is so refreshing. Definite must listen!

    Very informative!
I thought I knew enough about the perils of fast fashion, but through this podcast I’m learning a lot more, and it’s helping me reframe how I think about “doing my part”: Consuming less to begin with and taking care of what we have - we can all do this!! Elizabeth Joy breaks it down in each episode where to go from there in a nonjudgmental way. She clarifies terms, clears up misconceptions, and has thoughtful guests.
