dos muchozA blessing to hip hop podcast💯Love the format, the info..Guest and entertainment is grade a! And good to see PJ butta Landing on his feet💯

kbee812Podcast Has PotentialI liked the Grand Puba episode but the Smooth B episode seemed incomplete. They didn’t really discuss the third album and no mention of the fourth album at all. Then the host slams us with the passing of Smooth B’s wife with no backstory as to what she succumbed to and how he and his family dealt with her death. No real discussion on his current projects either. If you’re gonna focus on legendary artists you have to delve deep and give a complete story. The ending left me disappointed and I feel it didn’t do Smooth B justice.

DeacontoneySeason 3I’ve been rocking with this podcast since day 1. These are the guys I grew up listening to. I love all these stories. So far season 3 the stories feel rushed in a way they weren’t for the 1st 2 seasons. This season I’ve felt like the stories have been condensed. Hopefully this gets better. Keep the content coming!

-
cripmac556Great idea poorly executedObviously you expect this to be an in depth history of Doom, but it’s star-studded cast only masks the fact that absolutely zero research was done on who was. Even after this, Doom is still a mystery.
-

Nitekid3DopenessKeep em coming, love listening to all the stories getting information on all my favorite rappers

It's ya boi EricThank youAs a middle and high schooler, other than Wu-Tang, no 2 groups impacted me more than Das Efx and Black Moon. To be able to hear both of their stories in one week is incredible. It brought me all the way back. Back in the day information like this wasn’t available so to be able to finally hear some of the back stories is incredible. Keep up the great work and thank you for shining a light on some of the best that ever did it!
-

-
DantresomiAnother dope podcastThere are plenty of hip hop focused podcasts that mainly focus on artists who sold millions of records. There aren’t many who focus on hip hop artists that don’t. Here is one that does. It’s cleanly produced and well paced. I learn so much about my favorite artists.
-

el jefe fil-amHip Hop History at its FinestGolden Era hip hop is like the classic rock genre. Much like classic rock, this era of hip hop is filled with its own stories of triumphs, drama, falls, and rebirths. Fresh Era has provided a platform for these unheard stories to be heard, appreciated, and reminisced. Sit back and just listen…

JackBurton&ThePorkChopExpressSimply a must-listen for all hip-hop heads! My favorite new podcast! I listen to new episodes immediately when they drop. Very well-produced, always fun, always edifying, at-times very emotionally affecting—all around a gem! Golden age hip-hop fiends, in particular: Fresh Era is indispensable. 💎
-
Spektak1Young cats don’t know… but now they can.As someone who will one day be sitting in a rocking chair saying how music isn’t like it was back in my days (heck, I’ve already been saying that for 20 years) this is a well-produced trip down memory lane. That it’s made with reverence by heads that weren’t there for that era gives me hope for my rapidly approaching “old man yells at cloud” days.
