IatsemedicNo punches pulledCody and Kieran are not afraid to tell it like it is, and call out the bad, and praise all the good, and admit their mistakes, that is Tigers Baseball
-
Stillwater from MFix your audioTerrible to listen to... Sounds echoed and gargled..

jk19800000A well-informed PodKieran and Cody are a great listen for any Tigers fans. They take a well-reasoned approach and look at the issues facing the team from all angles. If you’re looking for “hot takes” that feed fan’s knee-jerk reactions, look elsewhere. These two actually understand nuance and do a good job communicating it to the listener.

DMh hrhynSolid podcast.Been listening each week from the beginning. Cody and Kieran are great hosts with good dynamic between them. Cody is always bringing terrific insight and behind the scenes looks from his beat writer perspective. Kieran can always be counted on for a zany segment or nickname. Must listen for Detroit Tiger fans.

26 Mile CrewThe best Detroit Tiger podcastI love the insight. Both hosts have a lot of fun and a very intelligent about the game from a fans perspective. Keep up the fantastic work. One thing to fix.- please please get rid of the intro and outro electric banjo sound.

hguhgiei5t6356The best!Always look forward to new episodes and insights!
-
JoejoetoughguyLegitThe best Tigers podcast out there. The information is solid, the tales are even-handed, and the chat is always interesting. Thanks guys!

GoBlue2012Best Tigers PodcastTurning the Corner is by far the best Detroit Tigers podcast. They offer perfect blend of baseball knowledge, insider knowledge of the team/management, fandom (from Kieran), and analysis of the game. This should be a must listen weekly for all Tigers fans.

JohnCzech23Cody is a doucheNever heard a guy who’s more in love with himself, or likes to hear their own voice more than Cody. His articles stink, this pod stinks, his opinions blow.
-
compeysonMeanderingCody writes great stuff but too often the podcast just regurgitates what he has written for the Athletic. Kieryn seems like the nicest guy in the world, but he meanders and equivocates on every topic. He really also needs to review how to use the word “unique” since he misuses it every podcast. The guys need to prepare more and up their production a tad. The last pod Cody’s docs was crying and fussing through an extended comment which was totally distracting. Rooting for them to get better or at least expect more from themselves.

HshdjshajsbsBest Tigers podcast by a mileOnly con is it’s only one a week!
-
CateraaadeVery good podcast, terrible audio qualityI would love to regularly listen to this show, but the audio is poorly mixed. I can’t get behind an Athletic show sounding like it was recorded with earbud mics.

Sleeping in NYC5 for Cody, but Kieran …This is my go-to Tigers podcast, the best of a small lot. Cody is the best of the best writers, and his articles are always insightful. But here’s how I listen to the podcast: I skip the first five minutes which inevitably consists of a Kieran monologue. And then whenever Kieran asks a question, he answers it before letting Cody answer. To be clear, I don’t mind Kieran’s input and the two seem to have good chemistry. But I’d like to see Kieran play more of a setup role: ask questions (without answering it from his perspective), let Cody share his insider knowledge, then dialogue about it with Kieran’s own insights. That would be a 5 star conversation.

BigGrandpaJGreat Tigers PodcastThey both do a great job giving us the details of the tigers.
-
anrickerThe perfect blend, a cup of coffee.Cody and Kieran’s chemistry is unmatched. Cody brings an unbiased reporters take on the tigers (which is LITERALLY his job, to be unbiased), while Kieran brings a true fan’s enthusiasm. Such a good balance. I look forward to each week’s recap of Cody’s work and the way Kieran presses him. It’s almost like Kieran has a background in media.
-
Cash361Needs improvementCody is a good writer and reporter but he is way too guarded both in print and on this podcast. Kiernan completely lacks professionalism and seems not to know it. He could improve so much with a little effort. I could list his on air deficits, but I don’t want to come down too hard on the guy. Just a course in basic public speaking or broadcast journalism would help him immensely. I assume he has not had any. If he has, they didn’t take.

IkeM96Awesome PodI have been listening to each episode over the past six months or so and will continue to do so as long as these guys are hosting this thing. Even during the off season when there is not much going on and its mostly endless speculation they find interesting topics and questions to discuss. They are funny and engaging and work well together. I read all of Cody’s work at the Athletic as well and this podcast is a great supplement to that. Can’t wait to listen to them in season. If you are a Tiger’s fan like I am who just can’t get enough I’d highly recommend. Keep up the great work.

babskfh⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I like how hot they sound.

ChargingDCSolidThe reporting is solid and this podcast is a must for any Detroit Tigers fan. I always enjoy reading Cody’s work in The Athletic. However, on the podcast he sometimes comes across as being disinterested and maybe even a little arrogant. It could just be his way of trying to objectively report on the team and not act like a fan, but sometimes he gives the impression that he’d rather be doing something else. But all told, there still isn’t a better podcast for a Detroit Tigers fan.
-
fenway824ExcellentReally enjoy the podcast. Even if there isn’t a ton of Tigers news in a particular week, they are fantastic at coming up with interesting things to listen to about the team. Podcast almost makes Mondays tolerable.
-
JoemutePassKieran’s favorite line is “not being a baseball guy…” or something to that effect. College stories are pointless and unfunny.
-
benzocrivelliWorth the weekly listenFive stars for Kieran’s Willi Castro rant in episode 67. Also Cody is the best writer on the Tigers beat and it’s not particularly close.
-
anxietyfoxGood insight, couple of segments are annoyingCody gives great inside the machine, perspective. The 2 things they have GOT to get rid of- a) Trying to come up with Nicknames b) reliving college glory days (fortunately this is at the end, and where I can just stop listening) Otherwise, it's solid, sober and sometimes entertaining look at The Tigers.
-
STF reviewerAppreciate the podCody talks about the Tigers players with disdain like they each slept with his wife. Keiran is great.
-
Hittin' HaroldIf I could give zero stars I wouldWhining hosts with little baseball knowledge. Not sure how the Athletic let this happen.
-
Brody>ZacLove itMy wedding gift to the new couple, a 5-star rating with some fresh Ohio air, congrats!!!
-
DjdhgagahajkllThe best Tigers podLove the pod; Cody and Kieran have great chemistry as hosts. I also enjoy having direct input from an actual beat writer.
-
mypieceExcellentA Monday morning must for Tigers fans. Cody brings the inside intel as a beat reporter, and Kieran brings an honest perspective as a fan and host (not that Cody isn’t honest as well lol). Only Tigers podcast I look forward to each week!
-

gheyhrMy favorite sports podcastThank goodness Kieran has more chemistry with a Cody than his college girlfriend! The history they share plus their love of the Tigers makes for a super entertaining and informative listen. One year in and growing better by the podcast as fas as I’m concerned. Keep up the good work!
-
robz757Good showGood show. Good perspective on the tigers, but I really want some new BBQ sauce!
-
