    My new favorite
Another fantastic podcast from the people at Fretboard Journal. Jason is such a good interviewer. By keeping his involvement in the conversation to a minimum, he gives his guest ample room to talk about their passion. I came to the podcast to listen to the guest who do what is closest to my heart, lutherie and bicycles, but my favorite episode was David Tracy. He was so excited about cars, it made me excited, and I could care less about cars. All In all, a super entertaining podcast.

Anther top-flight show from Jason Verlinde
As a long time listener to the Fretboard Journal Podcast, The Truth About Vintage Amps, and Luthier on Luthier, I wasn't sure what to think about yet another podcast from this team. I never should have questioned whether or not to start listening. Two episodes in, I am intrigued, thrilled, challenged and enthused! Jason Verlinde has a gift for identifying topics and people that others want to know about and hear from!

    Sweep the Floor
I love all of the Fretboard Journal podcasts, but didn’t expect to like STF as much as I do. I especially enjoy the interesting directions the discussions take as Jason learns more about the topics.

Great Stories of Creativity, Art, and Inspiration
Excellent podcast capturing stories of creators, makers, artists and artisans who have shared the work of their hands with the world, and the world is a better place for it. Jason Verlinde is a masterful interviewer and podcast host, and these interviews will no doubt inspire those who listen to reflect, imagine, dream, and above all, get to work making something remarkable in its beauty or its functionality or its utility… making is central to what it means to be human, and perhaps what the world needs most at such a time as this is a greater connection to our humanity. So let’s get our hands dirty! Make a mess. Sweep the floor. And then start over and do it again.

Trent Preszler’s Cathartic Canoe Build & TAVA
When there’s an amazing story many would rely on the subject matter to drive the interview. Jason Verlinde’s well thought out and probing questions shifted the interview into high gear. Seldom is the connectivity between the inquirer and the responder so immediate and apparent. While it’s clear Preszler is an adept interviewee, Verlinde never broke connection while leading the discussion through nuanced turns that glided through the vertical and horizontal process of the build. Quite possibly the most satisfying interplay I’ve heard in a one on one podcast. Another craftsman podcast with Jason Verlinde at the helm is “The Truth About Vintage Amps” w/Skip Simmons. Totally different skill set on display here with equal results for 68 satisfying episodes so far. Check that one out!

    Thoughtfulness + craft
Makers and builders hold a distinct fascination for many of us. Jason Verlinde's own curiosity, however, has fueled a vehicle for sharing among their reflections, stories, and problem-solving. As relaxed interviews, these conversations are sure to intrigue and teach.

    Jason does it again!
Another great podcast from the FBJ folks. Excellent first episode. I’ve long been fascinated by people who make things, so I’m looking forward to seeing where this podcast goes.

    Another winner from Jason Verlinde
Anyone familiar with the Fretboard Journal knows Jason Verlinde and his family of podcasts. This is another great addition. First episode with Linda Manzer was a perfect introduction. I’ll listen to anything he puts his name on. Guaranteed to be great.
