mikejmc3Reasonably well made, but repetitiveIn this podcast, the host ExoAcademian (groan) seeks to outline a “theory of everything” for non human intelligence that leans heavily on philosophical idealism. At times, he makes some compelling arguments, but too many episodes repeat the same ideas over and over again. The listener would be better served by taking 15 minutes to read the short story, “The Egg,” by Andy Weir, which concisely hits many of the same points this podcast spends dozens of hours hammering. Worse, the host tends to cite debunked stories and cherry pick topics that neatly align with his preferred worldview while failing to confront contradictory evidence—not terribly academic.

Maxwell from The LandA ShepherdI believe Darren understands what we are currently experiencing better than almost anyone out there - an evolution of consciousness. I praise this podcast and it’s creator for the good work it does, that is, shepherding others during these scary times. I highly recommend, and also urge anyone reading this to check out Liminal Phrames as well. Thank you Exo, I appreciate you!

ADMateoI like the podcast, but…On a regular basis lately, ExoAcademian, you claim to have un-named ‘sources’ disclosing information to you. You mention these sources and repeat their messages to us, your audience, seemingly without reservation. You seem to suggest by implication, that we should take these ideas at face value. You never suggest otherwise. Where does your certainty come from? How and why are you 100% certain you aren’t being fed misinformation, that you aren’t being used as an unwitting channel of subterfuge? Your sources and their information might be authentic, but why would you expect your audience to believe that just because you say it’s so? Are we just supposed to intuit the veracity of your claims? Is it hubris? Ego? Something else? I appreciate your efforts and your passion, but something’s missing…

Interior EclogueA commitment to clarityHave spent the last couple of days with the most recent episodes and I’m glad I did. Sober and bracing. There are few podcasts I will listen to entirely. This is one. Exo we are grateful for your commitment to this topic through the many years it was derided. May souls like you guide us through the future.

ToddGenevaBy far the best podcast on this topicSimply an amazing podcast. So much in each episode to digest that I find myself listening to each one more than once.
-
FlosstradamousSimply AmazingThe most amazing, thought provoking podcast I’ve ever experienced by far. As someone fairly new to these phenomena I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered Point of Convergence as early as I did. As of now there 81 episodes and I’ve listened each of them at least three times. ExoAcademian is a highly intelligent individual yet he does a great job of relaying these concepts in way that most adults can understand. It’s impossible for me to say enough positive things about this podcast. It’s the most eye opening information I’ve ever received. Give it a try and prepare to have your mind blown.
-
AKbrainI wish…the professional manner in which this information is delivered, distracted me from how terrifying it all is. Thank you, Exo.

Kevin RuneyJust what we needed!I’m glad to have discovered this thoughtful, erudite, and engaging program! While I may not always find myself in agreement with everything, the overall approach is absolutely the right one. It’s just so refreshing to hear someone taking a comprehensive and philosophical stance to the material, and perhaps most importantly, following out the various implications in ways that most other presenters do not.
-
godihatereviewsUnparalleled qualityHoly moly. Sounds like a philosophy professor delving into the subject and is the best I’ve ever heard.

AlexisCanReviewThis podcast is amazingMust listen to for all that are interested in the magic and unexplainable features of our world. Exo is amazing at summarizing the top cases / proof that there are others in our world.

Pillar of SaltinessPhenomenalExo is a brilliant and erudite guide for those looking to dive into the deep end of the UFO phenomenon and it’s many related topics.
-
Saturn3X_Thought provoking!Very well-researched and thought provoking content. Your episode on “the sequestered society” was so nicely done and is one of your best IMO. I’ve re-listened to it at least 5 times now.
-
BigBigBoy420FantasticThis podcast is the closest thing you will find to a detailed academic-style explanation of all the major theories and events in ufology and abduction research. It has brought me immense entertainment and is always a captivating listen . Thanks !

dtfhh HC judgExceptional so farThe first 60 podcasts in the series did nearly all of the work of expanding my awareness of potential alien stuff beyond the widely recognized existence of physical discs flying around the world’s airspace. As a result, I’m now reading much more interesting works on the much broader category of high strangeness. similar to my previous utterly unscientific awareness of physics and then being introduced to the much more up-to-date notion that there are no such objective things as space and time, that they are “doomed” as descriptions of objective reality, and that because matter can only exist in the context of space and time, nothing that we see or otherwise experience in our lives can resemble reality. Which is to say, this podcast reset a great deal of what I thought was true. The presentation of the material is pretty good. I agree with the previous critique that the presenter doesn’t adhere to the strictest rules of delineating fact from supposition. The flipside of that is that in other podcasts I sometimes get tired of hearing endless qualifications and rigorous attribution. It’s not a dealbreaker for me. I’m more a fan of the AP style of writing, as opposed to a more academic style. But the foundation of my appreciation for this podcast rests and the fact that it is like no other podcast I’ve come across. It stretches the boundaries of the listener’s thinking while working hard to remain within the confines what is conceivable and at least reasonably logically derivable. And it does well in explaining the pathway from existing knowledge to the bizarreness of high strangeness. My only other criticism is that the last half dozen or so editions have been pretty repetitive. Repeating explanations of complex concepts is one thing but I’ve begun to hear many, what are for me, very well understood concepts over and over again. It would be understandable if the presenter was running out of material. Regardless of whether that is the case, what he has provided so far has been exceptional.

TimmyHugsIntelligent theories on a very complex topicI do like the podcast and think the reasoning is good. I have a few things that sometimes bother me. Asserting hearsay as fact. A lot of data in the topic is witness testimony. I think the language could use a lot more: allegedly, supposedly, according to the witness, my opinion is..., and so forth. Because in my estimation, a lot of the things in conversation haven’t quite been firmly established. There could still be options that aren’t as straightforward.

BrentbyoungLevel Headed GeniusThis man has his head screwed on straight and tight. This man sees what’s going on but he’s not jumping off the cliff to chase it, he’s smart, he chose to repel down the cliff. He’s finding clues and investigating on our way down so that when we get to where we’re going we’ll have some sort of idea of what we may be dealing with.

813jLook no further - hands down the best podcast ever!Over the last couple of years I have explored further and further down the UAP rabbit hole but rarely does one come across a gem like The Point of Convergence podcast with Exo Academian. (Please excuse my spelling) not only are the topics captivating, but Exo has a way of presenting all the data in such a non-biased way. If and when he does offer his opinio. he is clear to state just that….it’s his opinion. The topics, authors, books etc that he presents and reviews are the most relevant material to date in the UAP phenomena. Because of his reviews, I’ve recently read 2 recommended titles he discusses. His laundry list of academic accolades make for a knowledgeable host whom I trust and want to hear more and more from. I accidentally found this podcast through a Reddit rabbit hole late September. It is now early November and I’ve listened to the whole lot. If you’ve read my review this far and have decided to dig in here, then take the time and listen to ALL the shows starting from episode #1. You will not be disappointed. My one and only complaint is that I’m out of episodes😝

woweezoweeeeMost solid UFO informational podcast out thereI listen to a ton of podcasts and have tried a ton that deal with UFOs. This one is unique because of the format. It’s hosted by a guy, ExoAcadamian, who is both a UFO experiencer and someone who has spent years and years studying the phenomenon. Most shows he does solo by tackling one aspect of the phenomenon and going deep. I am always shocked at how much Exo packs into less than 40 minutes both in breadth and depth. If you’ve spent any time researching UFOs and abduction, you know the rabbit hole that opens up when you start searching for explanations and answers. Exo is a wonderful guide with a solid grasp on all the major threads from a consciousness perspective as opposed to nuts and bolts. This is a podcast for anyone who is into Vallee and Keel, not Greer. Even seasoned UFO enthusiasts will enjoy this podcast as Exo has a knack for framing the myriad aspects of the phenomenon in a way that’s understandable and comprehensive. I’ve listened to most of the 40-plus episodes so far and have learned a great deal. P.S. Unlike other podcasts, Exo does not urge people to leave reviews on iTunes, etc. This review is made of my own volition.

FiddlewizardClear and informative.Very well done. I appreciate the wordsmithery.

SteveBurrows313Most comprehensiveThis pod rolls more like an outstanding, well researched, comprehensive book. Each episode/chapter covers very specific aspects or theories. It is perfect for anyone new or intimidated to the subject, but also deep enough to be enjoyed anyone already well-versed. I’m very impressed with the content and format.
-
Fw wolffBrilliant!Suspiciously thoughtful and insightful... Is the host an alien/human hybrid sent to Earth on the mission of guiding us through disclosure? I'll let you decide
