I’m usually not very into Sci-fis, let alone in podcast form, but this one is genuinely one of my favorites! The voice acting, effects, storyline, it’s all very fell done, and I’m excited for the possibility of season two already :]

QCODE is known for high quality production and excellent stories. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t hold up to their other productions. Sound quality is great, as expected, but the story and characters are severely lacking. There’s been only one other QCODE show I disliked, Ghost Tape, but now they have some company and are no longer alone as a QCODE production I genuinely did not enjoy. Better luck next time QCODE. I know season 2’s aren’t normally your thing but if you get the urge to go for one, please don’t dedicate that effort toward this show; this one can stay buried.

my family and i started listening to this for entertainment while the power was out, and then my mother mentioned that Warner Bros. was planning on making a tv show. Is this true?

Great story and was hooked right away - hopefully there’s a season 2 👌🏼

Brian Cox and Richard Madden are both brilliant, as expected. The number of interruptions for ads is astounding. Fifteen minutes at a time? More ads than show. I would rather pay a small one-time fee to lessen or eliminate ads. I, like other listeners, am not keen to sign up for a monthly deduction.

I’m on the 2nd ep the story is good so far 😁 but 🫤 the background sounds are too loud you can barely understand what they’re are saying sometimes 😅 hopefully they can fix that.

Very good but ends leaving you wondering what had just happened. Hopefully there will be a season 2 soon.

I'm pretty big into scifi and this was enjoyable. As always from Cqode some great acting and sound design. Just wish the last ep didn't feel a bit rushed. Overall though I was hooked. I'l be checking out the bonus content! :D

Why does Q code keep making new shows instead of finishing the already great shoes they have? So so weird and frustrating.

Some really interesting ideas here but the story gets overly complicated and very messy. Would have been better if they made it a bit simpler and moved to a more satisfying conclusion for season 1.

This show is entertaining enough. But it’s based on the idea that that we have already destroyed the globe. So if you believe that the car you drive to work will cause the earth to burn in AOC’s 12 year timeline, then this is the show for you. However, if you were skeptical in the eighties when they said that in 20 years the world would be covered In ice, and completely out of oil, you will fine this show a little irritating.

I loved this listen. The quality of the story telling is great. I’m always hoping for a 2nd season, but I believe this one season was just enough. I’m a sucker for sy-fi stories as well tho.

Loved the interesting story line. Loved the actors !!! I had a really hard time hearing the dialog. Sounded like the voices were talking into there hands or something!!! Would definitely recommend. 😊

Pretty decent show. Sound is great. The best part —- sounds like they got the actual Count from Sesame Street to voice the Russian general!!

It was my first time listening to a podcast show. I imagine this is how it was for people listening to the radio show, War of the Worlds. I did enjoy it and their accents make that much better. I recognized a few other actors because of their voices. It was a great experience. I wish there was a second season, I want to know what happened. Maybe I’ll get a little more in the tv show. I’m excited for that now.

This is my favorite from QCODE. I really hope it gets a season 2 or the produce more sci-fi dramas.

I gave only 4 stars because the end was confusing and, in my opinion, kinda weak… having said that, the story is amazing and the sound effects are at another level. Im fairly new to this type of podcasts but ive heard a couple of them and the sound engeniers of this one, they really know what they’re doing. I’ve listened with my airpods pro with ANC and Spatial Sterio turned on and it made a whole experience out of it. I would love to hear more from the people who made this. Like i said, the only reason i gave 4 stars is because of the ending, it didnt felt like an ending and quite frankly that last episode seemed rushed… maybe it needed like 1 or 2 more episodes to really close the whole story, but thats just me nip picking… all and all the story was good, the voices were great and the sound effects are ON POINT!!!

Fantastic podcast but the end is disappointing. Like they couldn’t decide how to end it so they just… didn’t.

If you’re a fan of classic sci-fi like Asimov, Heinlein, etc. this very much feels like a short story in that vein. It has excellent sound production, great voice acting, and an intriguing story. Folks say they want more, and I get that, but this project is so jam-packed with excitement over 6 episodes that I really can’t ask for a lot more. Give it a shot!

I really enjoyed this podcast. It’s my first story podcast ever and I enjoyed the spatial audio the most. So creepy and out of this world.

Just saying, nature sounds are a big reason to enjoy the woods and the animals there use sounds for survival. Theres an ad on this show that encourages taking music into protected environments and its not a good idea. Enjoying the show.

Very entertaining story, with top notch voice acting. I’ve always thought Brian Cox was an excellent actor, and his voice is very recognizable. Every production by QCODE that I have listened to has been very good. I highly recommend giving this one a listen.

I listen to a LOT of space adventures and other sci-fi podcasts and this one is by far one of the best! I binged the entire 6 episodes in 2 days. It played in my mind just like a movie. I especially enjoyed the cliff-hanger ending. The writers should sell the script to Netflix or Amazon because it would make a great, original movie. I get tired of watching sci-fi movies that have the same dried-up fight the alien invaders plot line. This story is an original wormhole plot that highlights our current political tensions and climate destruction. It also has the potential for an excellent sequel. By far the best story I’ve heard in long time. Thank You for producing it and providing it for free.

It was great to hear the season 1 but very sad it ends without answers. Only 6 episodes? You’ve got to be kidding me!

My only complaint is there aren’t more episodes. I was a little disappointed in the resolution but I’m hoping the lack of answers means there’s more to come. Also, would honestly just listen to Richard Madden read the dictionary; that brogue just sends me 😍

I enjoyed Blackout, another QCode fiction podcast and needed a change of pace so I decided to give From Now a listen and I’m SO happy I did. Excellent story, incredible sound production, wonderful voice actors. We need more episodes!!

…I would wait to binge this until they committed to a more meaningful resolution of season 1. That does not mean that every mystery has to be solved, but this left us with nothing. Zero. No insight into the interpersonal dynamics, the familial background, the memory loss, and no insight into the central mysteries. The questions and mysteries are layered on, layer upon layer, and then… nada. The acting is fabulous, the writing is pretty good. But come on. I love ambiguity, but folks, there is ambiguity and mystery that is rich with meaning, and there is ambiguity that feels like a game with nothing left but a bundle of cliches at the bottom of an empty pail. The infrastructure is there for this to become something great—I wish I had waited.

I love radio shows, been listening to a lot of the old time radio show including it sci-fi, this show is great!!! I need a 2nd season. I only wish there wasn’t background music in some parts. But either way it’s amazing!

I listened to this in one sitting during my recent travels. It’s an extremely gripping and immersive story although the sound effects can be a bit jarring at times. I’m excited for the TV series that was recently commissioned by Amazon Videos and can’t wait to SEE it.

This was my first time ever listening to a story podcast and I must say this was very enjoyable and immersive. Better than most series you find on streaming services. A++
