    Love this show!
I’ve had a small backyard flock for years and just discovered this podcast — and I learn so much listening. It’s like sitting and visiting with friends who share my love for my hens.

    Like a chat with friends!
I first found this show when I had a hen with some reproductive problems and had been searching for any information I could find. Unfortunately even with veterinary care we were unable to save her but as with any tragedy, there were good things that came from it. One was finding this podcast! I feel like I’m visiting with friends when I listen, and I’ve learned a lot too! If you love chickens, this is for you!

First review I’ve ever written and it’s worth it!

    Great for chicken lovers
Love this show. It feels like good friends are sitting in my kitchen talking chickens! The second I hear the rooster crow at the beginning of the podcast, I’m all smiles. So much good information, sometimes I listen twice.

So fun and full of info!
These girls know how to have fun. I really enjoyed (think binged) the podcast when I was trying to decide what breeds I wanted to have when I was first building my flock. I have been listening ever since. I enjoy it all—the breed spotlight, the recipe, the main topic, and of course, the retail therapy. Hugs and chickens, Jenni Binder

    Love the show
I’ve been keeping chickens for many years and always learn something new. All my birds are from McMurrary hatchery and are always happy and healthy.

    Great podcast, great people
As a first time chicken owner, I really appreciate these ladies’ passion for chickens! Not only is their podcast fun and full of great information, they are wonderful people themselves. I have reached out to them on social media with chicken care questions and they went above and beyond to help me. Very grateful!

    Best podcast for chicken lovers
These ladies are a hoot and a half. They keep it entertaining but u also learn quite a bit. We picked the breeds we got after we listened to all the different breed spotlights. Now bake with eggs cuz I don’t eat cooked eggs gfs (like scrambled or fried) it’s a texture thing but they have recipes for a everybody! Now they do state multiple times throughout their podcasts that if you need assistance to message them and they will help you I thought that was malarkey I mean who has time to help that many people because I’m sure they have thousands of listeners… But I was having a crisis, and every time I posted on all of the different chicken pages it kept getting ignored and skipped over. I was desperate so I sent them a message and within the hour I got a response! They were all helping me. It wasn’t some generic one size fits all response message sent by a robot. It was actually one of the chicken ladies!!! After I figured out, my problem was and when about my life, I looked and had a message on Facebook from the chicken ladies!!! They were just doing a follow up checking in on my chicks! Incredible women! You are missing out if you don’t give this podcast a chance!

    Informative and Fun
I’ve been listening to their podcast for a year now and also follow them on social media; they are so much fun! I have learned so much more about poultry despite having been around them my entire life, especially disease and illness that might occur. I enjoy learning and the girls definitely make it that much more fun! I’m making my chick list for my July order and an additional list for my daughter in law’s venture into homesteading.

    Everything Chickens!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this podcast! As a chicken lover, I was curious to see if there were any podcasts about them, and I found this. I am SO HAPPY I did, it’s everything chickens! Breed spotlights, recipes on how to use all your eggs, shopping plus important and informative information on chicken health & issues. I feel like I’m hanging out with my besties talking about chickens! They even helped me when I was panicked about a sick chick. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 💕🐓

    Love love love
You ladies have so much information regarding chickens, I can’t get enough. I just brought home 6 hens on the 13th of this month and I am loving the personalities I see coming out in them. I need more! I started from the beginning of this podcast and still have a long ways to go to catch up. I listen on my way to and from work and while I’m out with my chooks. Anyway just wanted to give a shout out from Iowa! 👋

    Informative and fun
Great information presented in a fun way. The hosts love chickens and each other and it shines through. Makes for a great dynamic. I love all the good information and the lighthearted delivery. Acts as a learning experience and a great pick-me-up.

    So Eggcellent!!
This podcast was recommended to me by someone on a FB Chicken Group and I've been having a great time trying to listen to all the episodes that I've missed so far. Very positive, entertaining, and informative!

    My go to podcast
Love me my chickens and learning about them! You are both super fun, informative and dedicated. The podcast is in my favorites category and I listen mostly while doing housework so I’m motivated to get outside to my flock quicker. Haha! 😃 I have 17 and 4 of them boys right now. Lots of crowing-which is fine with me :)

Exactly the Chicken Info You Need
Living amongst feral chickens in Ybor City, Tampa we know not to touch or feed the birds. However sometimes a hen will decide to lay in an empty planter on your porch and we do need some basic info. This podcast presents great guidance for neophytes and I love the enthusiasm of the two hosts.

    My favorite podcast!
I have been raining chickens my entire life. I grew up with a small backyard flock on my family farm and have always enjoyed having home-grown eggs. Last year (April 2023) I started my first flock on my own raising my own chicks and wanted to learn more about chickens. I stumbled upon this podcast and have been hooked ever since! My flock last year was brought to live on my family’s farm after my coop was destroyed this past fall but I am starting a new flock and just placed my chick order based on what I have learned in the breed spotlight on this podcast. I could not recommend this podcast enough!! ❤️
  • BabsLuhrsen
    Highly recommend!
This podcast is phenomenal! It is so hard to navigate the chicken community and find legitimate resources. I messaged the ladies’s Instagram page asking if they do video consultations. I specifically had questions about integration in my flock. I received a response the same day. The next day, I was on a Zoom call, and they answered all my questions. It was amazing! I am happy to support a podcast and individuals who genuinely are passionate about helping others and informing people about caring for their pets. I cannot recommend coffee with chicken ladies enough!
  • IsabelaEspaillat
    Perfect for chicken newbies
I just got chickens this year and I’ve learned so much by listening to this podcast. The ladies are funny and very informed. It’s an easy, entertaining and educational listen!
  • Elizabeppes
Good information & Love to listen but…
Love learning about how to raise chickens-two bits of critique - the 1/02/24 episode the hosts talked way more than their guest and talked over her & episode 83 about predators- was shocked to hear feeding foxes was a way to keep chickens safe - humans feeding wildlife is not a great thing to do and in many states it’s illegal 🦊

    Chicken Ladies Get It
Spent my childhood sitting in the hen house. It was like pre reality TV. So grateful for this podcast. There is a lot of useful information presented in a fun way. Love the laughing and chicken appreciation! Even if I didn’t have chickens, these hosts have a pleasant energy I find calming as I listen and work through the day.

Love it but many sponsor announcements
This is a wonderful gaging podcast. My favorite chicken listen. However there are so many blurbs highlighting products and companies half the podcast feels like an ad. Still love it, but please tone down the pushing of products. Thank you

    Knowledge and Giggles
I got my first batch of chicks this year, and some how heard about Coffee with the Chicken Ladies podcast. I started at episode 1 and listen to it as often as I can, trying to catch up to the current releases. I really enjoy every part, but especially cracking the eggs and breed spotlight. I love Crissie’s cheerful personality and Holly’s experience! I’m so glad I looked these gals up!

    Can’t wait for Tuesdays!
What fun this podcast is! Chickens, food, retail therapy, and well researched info to help you take better care of your fowl! Of course I had to get a few of the breeds spotlighted. I have a list for next year. And that retail therapy has led me to a purchase or so also. I just blame it on the podcast! I look forward to every episode and love being able to go back for a recipe or something else I needed to listen to again. Thank you ladies!

    Love This Podcast!
I can’t get enough of this podcast! I love the Breed Spotlight and Cracking Those Eggs! I’ve learned so much and I don’t even have chickens! Holly and Chrissy are naturally talented podcasters and I could listen to them talk about chickens all day. Keep the episodes coming!
  • Gnars

  • Chickenmathmoma
    Absolutely cheep cheep Love this!
These ladies have taught me so much about tending chickens, made me laugh, and they are the only podcast i have ever listened too😆 I am addicted 100.%! We have a Facebook group called the crazy chicken ladies of Richland Co. and I have raved about the knowledge and fun that Chrissy and Holly leave with me! Chrissy and all her sound effects is great! I just started listening when I got my first baby chicks about 2 months ago! So I started at listening to episode 1 and they get better every week🐣
  • Hi I'm Kelsey
    Great Podcast
I love this podcast! Coffee with the Chicken Ladies is the only podcast I listen to on my hour and fifteen minute commute to/from work. As a newer chicken owner (two came with the house I bought a month ago and now I have thirteen), I love learning as much as I possibly can and to provide my girls with the best life possible. It’s amazing to hear how many people are so passionate about these incredible birds. The breed spotlight has helped me learn so much about the personalities and history on so many new (to me) breeds. They helped me learn about my absolute favorite breed, the Salmon Faverolle! I already have a long list of breeds I’d love to add in the future.
  • All stars ✨
So much knowledge of chickens and it’ll keep you laughing!
Ladies y’all do an amazing job! 🤩Your podcast is perfect! I love everything about the podcast, breed spotlight, main topic, cracking the eggs, retail therapy the special guests. Your show is so informative, educational and fun! I’ve had chickens for 8 years but new to podcasts and since I’ve found your show I’m hooked. I listen to y’all everyday. Thank you Chrisie & Holly for your love for chickens and coffee! ☕️ 🐓 ♥️

    Best podcast about chickening
This is not only the most entertaining podcast about chickens but also the most informative. I am a veterinarian learning about chickens by keeping my own and I have learned so much from these ladies! They do loads of research and verify all the information they put out. I do have a hard time understanding and hearing while listening in the chicken yard and would like to make a formal complaint. My roo, Boogie, likes to crow every time I start playing it on my phone.

    Chicken school
A great podcast with two awesome ladies and lots of fabulous guests. I am a new chicken mama and I’m going through all the episodes to absorb the great advice. My daughter asks me to turn on “chicken school” every time we get in the car because she loves it too. Breed spotlight is my favorite segment, the format really works so well.

    So much valuable information!
You ladies are fantastic! I’m a soon to be first time chicken keeper ( picking up my chicks in a few weeks). I’ve been super nervous and trying to read and listen to ALL the information out there. I’m so happy I discovered your podcast. Your content is easy to digest, down to earth, and useful. It’s put my mind at ease and given me more confidence. Thank you so much for providing such great information for this new chicken lady!

What a great podcast! Amazing information and presented in such a fun-loving way. They crack me up. I love that they bring in others to interview and are so knowledgeable about all things chicken. The breed spotlights are so interesting. It helped me choose what breeds I wanted and I have used it several times as a reference for various questions I had. Thanks so much!! (My kids also love the show. Thank you from Levi, Hanna, and Ezra!)

I just started listening to the chicken ladies a few weeks ago and I tell all my chicken friends to listen! I love their enthusiasm and their down to earth advice! The breed spotlight is straight up chicken math inducing but I love learning about the different breeds. I’m glad 2 friends came up with the idea to share their love of being crazy chicken ladies with so many!

    Learning while being entertained!!
Great topics especially for a soon to be chicken lady ! Enjoy the breed spot light historical background on each is very interesting! I feel more prepared as I have been bing listening to all the podcasts while my chicks were in the incubator! They just hatched last Friday and I can’t wait to learn more for your podcast! I like going back and replaying topic to brush up ad there is sooo much to learn.
  • Sabug6
Perfect for an aspiring chicken lady!
Deciding to start my chicken journey this year has been exciting, but there’s just so much to learn!! Having Chrisie and Holly share their experiences (highs, lows and everything in between) has helped tremendously with getting my flock started, prepping and learning valuable breed and chicken knowledge! Not to mention the creative recipes! The interviews are fabulous with such a fun variety of friends and experts. I look forward to it every week! Thanks ladies!

    My favorite commute podcast
I have been listening to this show since almost episode one. I haven't rated before because I always listen on Spotify (my husband and my Apple Podcasts are linked and we listen to different things, so I switched to Spotify years ago). These ladies are so knowledgeable. I will often go to their website to lookup topics I want to brush up on. This year I am going back and listening to episodes that have "Breed Spotlight" on breeds I have joining my flock this summer. I recently sent them a picture of my Silkie getting a bath and blow dry after listening to their Silkie Episode. They mentioned my name in a following episode. My jaw dropped and I exited screamed in the car like a fan at a rock concert. They bring on knowledgeable guests. My favorite repeat guest, Fiona is great! And I always enjoy when they bring Dr.Rebecca on. Even my young kids like listening in the car. One of these days, when I am not working 48+hrs a week, I am going to join their Patreon so I can jump on their zoom calls (and get their bonus episodes). Take a listen, you'll quickly become a fan.
  • LauraDeBeer
    Great Podcast
I absolutely love your podcast and have suggested it to many friends, at least the ones that don’t think keeping chickens is crazy😜😂. I have learned so much and I like the flow of your podcast with breed spotlight, main topic, cracking those eggs etc. I also think bonus shows as needed or warranted with current events is a great idea.
